Pro-life leader who once survived arson attack challenges “obstructionist Republican establishment” in Ohio Senate

A long-time pro-life leader has decided to run for the Senate in the state of Ohio to challenge what she calls “the establishment” which has refused to pass the pro-life Heartbeat bill. Janet Folger Porter has been fighting abortion for over thirty years. Her leadership helped pass the first ban on the infamous partial birth abortion method. In that procedure, the abortionist delivers the preborn child up to the shoulders, he then pierces the child’s skull with a pair of medical scissors and suctions out the brain tissue, enabling the collapse of the baby’s head which kills the child. The procedure was defended by Hillary Clinton during her term as a US Senator.

Janet Head Shot Hi-Res

It was this now illegal abortion procedure that appeared to be described by a high ranking staffer at Planned Parenthood caught on under cover video by the Center for Medical Progress who exposed their grisly baby harvesting operation. As a result, pro-lifers have called for an investigation into the potential that Planned Parenthood is violating the law.

I have known Janet Porter for many years. I have followed her bold stand as well as her witty and brilliant personality. What you see in Janet publicly, rest assured is the same privately. She is one of the most honest, godly, and hard working woman I have ever met. Janet is 100% committed to the cause of defending the preborn child in the womb. But, her stand has not been an easy one. Over the years, Janet has made a number of enemies. She is feared by groups like Right-Wing Watch who describes her an “anti-choice” threat and has published numerous alerts on her views. Janet told Saynsumthn that she is the most “watched” female by the pro-abortion group, second only to Michele Bauchman. In response to the criticism, Janet said that she not deterred by those who oppose her, telling Saynsumthn that, “When you spend your life standing for God’s word and His principles people don’t always say nice things about you.”

Janet Folger Porter prolife Bomb Threat

Tragically, words are not the only “ammunition” that have been used by Janet’s enemies over the years. The pro-life leader has also received numerous threats, including having her vehicle sabotaged when someone cut her gas line. It happened in 1994 when abortion was front and center in the news much like it is today. Janet recalled seeing smoke coming out of her car prior to a political rally for a pro-life Democrat candidate she had planned to attend. After getting out of the car she saw a line of fire from the driveway into her garage, but thankfully the fire was confined to her car engine and she was not hurt. The fire was ruled as arson and although no one was ever charged, Janet had her suspicions that she was targeted because of her pro-life activism.

“The arson investigator said the attack was deliberate. The banner headline of the Cleveland Plain Dealer on Friday, May 13, 1994, read: Right to Life Leader’s car Sabotaged, Odds are it is connected to abortion issue, police say.” The sticker on the bumper read: “Abortion? Pick on someone your own size.”

Janet wrote about the incident in her book, True to Life where she published this image of her burnt out car.

Janet’s thirty years of pro-life activism began in high school where she was first convicted about abortion after she was shown a picture of an aborted baby for the first time. Today, Janet has spent the last few years working to pass the Heartbeat Bill in Ohio. This legislation works on the premise that if death is decided when a heartbeat ends, then life should be protected when the heartbeat begins. She told Saynsumthn that her involvement in a failed pro-life initiative in South Dakota helped birth the concept behind the Heartbeat Bill.

“The Supreme Court has said states can intervene and protect life in the womb if there is a likelihood of survival to live birth. But right now they are picking viability as their marker. Well, we have a better one. It’s called the heartbeat,” she said adding that, “Heartbeat is an indicator of life that is universally recognized across the wold, why should we ignore it when it comes to the very young?” she asked.

janet-porter-heart-balloons

Janet said she is committed to protecting every preborn child in the womb, but for now, “If we can’t rescue all the children out of the burning building all at once, you carry out as many as you can – then go back for the rest,” she explained.

It was her passion to pass the Heartbeat Bill in the Ohio legislature that promoted her decision to run for state Senate. Janet said that she is hoping to unseat incumbent state Republican Senator Larry Obhof and that she is running against what she calls “the Republican establishment.” According to Janet the so-called “establishment” has “blocked the most pro-life bill to ever pass the Ohio House of Representatives, the Heartbeat Bill” which Janet calls, “our best chance to save the most lives.”

“They will tell you how pro-life they are. In fact, my opponent will claim to have a 100%n voting record. Well that is easy to do when you never vote on the most pro-life bill, the Heartbeat Bill which has the most chance to save lives,” she stated.

Janet has accused her opponent, Larry Obhof, with refusing to initiate and sign a discharge petition to bring the pro-life Heartbeat Bill to the floor for a vote. “He claimed to a local news outlet that I never asked him to sign it,” Porter said.

So I delivered the proof: the receipt of the certified letter which I sent to him on October 21st along with the return postcard which showed that he, in fact, received it.”

Janet’s determination has brought her before Ohio lawmakers many times with several victories along the way. Janet has had plenty of experience with lawmakers. After she co-founded Students for Life in 1985 at Cleveland State University as an undergrad student she became Legislative Director of Ohio Right to Life for nearly a decade. It was in this role that Janet helped pass pro-life laws including the Woman’s Right to Know law (with a 24 hour waiting period), Parental Consent, Fetal Homicide, protection against dehydration and starvation, as well as the nation’s first ban on Partial Birth Abortion.

Janet explained that after asking others to run against what she calls the “obstructionist Republican establishment” she stepped up when no one responded. “If nobody else would do it, I put my own faith to action and I pulled petitions to run for the state Senate.” But, the feisty pro-life female leader said she has also launched her political campaign for the cause of liberty, “The more I think about it, we could have a lot of fun in the Ohio Senate. Instead of being on the outside begging them for their vote, we could actually take our government back! Because, you know what? It doesn’t belong to the establishment incumbents – it belongs to we the people.”

Janet Folger Porter for Senate

Janet said that her campaign needs a lot of prayer, support, feet on the ground and, of course plenty of contributions. Early voting in the state begins in a few months and the election will take place March 15, 2016. But, despite the uphill battle, Janet remained optimistic about her chances of winning:

“Here’s my chances with God all things are possible.”

AG files complaint against abortion doc charging negligence and failing to protect patient’s personal information

Posted in Aborted Baby Trash, Abortionist Under Investigation with tags , , , , , , , , , , on December 28, 2015 by saynsumthn

Michael Roth

An abortion doctor who stored dozens of jars containing “products of conception” (a term used for aborted babies) is the subject of a Michigan Attorney General Office complaint charging him negligence and failing to protect patient’s personal information. Dr. Michael Authur Roth a long time circuit-riding abortion provider in the state made headlines earlier this fall after police found 14 containers identified at the time as “human tissue” and as well as controlled substances in his car after it was involved in a traffic incident.

The administrative complaint, filed with state Board of Medicine’s department of licensing and regulatory affairs for possible disciplinary action and obtained by Live Action News from pro-life advocate Lynn Mills, details the abortion doctor’s sordid past. In the factual allegations, the document states that Roth was disciplined by the state medical board in 2004 following a complaint that he performed an abortion out of a patient’s home. Another issue came before the Board in 2012 over a complication from a procedure resulting in a fine.

Roth abortion home complaint

The Attorney General has accused Roth with being in possession of controlled substances without lawful authority. According to the AG’s complaint, when police searched Roth’s car they discovered 6 prescription bottles containing an antibiotic prescribed by another medical doctor with the initials AO for several patients as well as large amounts of the pain medicine Fentanyl and a partially used bottle of a drug used for anesthesia. In addition they found medication used for uterine bleeding.

In response to the complaint, Mills called the items found in Roth’s car, “a cocktail for abortion.” She told Live Action News that there are many unanswered questions surrounding this case, “Pro-lifers effectively got this abortionist evicted several times last year. So let’s say that he couldn’t find a place to rent that would allow him to do abortions? We know from his history that he has experience doing them in home settings. Could this have been an option he felt was viable?”

Mills said she suspects Roth was doing clandestine abortions, wondering where he was performing them, “Roth was driving around with what he needed the antibiotics, the anesthesia, the bleed control meds and pain meds. Where’s the bloody pads, the cannulas?” While authorities have not specified why Roth was in possession of the medications, Mills speculated a few possible scenarios such as his performing secret abortions on rich women or even on human trafficking victims in secret locations.

mICHAEL RoTH abortion fetus

In addition to the medications, the complaint states that police also found “Fifteen specimen jars containing the “products of conception” in the abortionist’s car. Less than a week later, upon searching Roth’s home, police found additional medications of Fentanyl and and 6 full glass vials of Methylergonovine Maleate (medication used for uterine bleeding). Police also discovered that the Fentanyl, which had expired a year earlier, belonged to another physician. In fact, several of the medications found in Roth’s possession were expired and bore the name of to another prescribing physician where Roth “provides coverage” according to the complaint.

The documents states that the license to dispense medications are “location specific” and that medications cannot be stored in places other than where the license allows. Further, state law requires that medications are to be stored in a locked cabinet or room and not in a person’s home or vehicle. The complaint accuses Roth of failing to protect patient’s personal information as well as disposing of “pathological waste” i.e. aborted babies pursuant to state statutes.

The AG accuses Roth of the following:

    Negligence
    Incompetence
    Lack of Good Moral Character
Possessing a controlled substance without lawful authority
    Betrayal of a Professional Confidence

Asministrative COmplaint Roth Abortion Fetus Car

The complaint requires that Roth has 30 days to submit a written response to the charges against him. And, if he cannot show that he is in compliance of all lawful requirements of retention of his license the AG has requested that formal proceedings be “commenced pursuant to the Public Health Code.”

Parody vid shows Planned Parenthood supporter telling pro-life politician: “Merry F-ing Christmas”

Posted in Pro-choice mocking, Pro-choice People with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on December 28, 2015 by saynsumthn

What is comedian Liz Winstead’s obsession with pro-life people? I mean, first the creator of the Daily Show who runs the Lady Parts Justice blog created an App to “track” those who oppose abortion and now she has published a video showing an abortion “Caroler” harassing a pro-life politician.

In her most recent “production” of online propaganda called “Lies Actually” the faux Christmas Caroler shows up at the door of an alleged pro-life politician to “harass” him about what they call his “lies” that Planned Parenthood sells aborted baby parts.

Lies Actually Lady Parts Justice

“Lies?” Hmmm…let’s see… High ranking staffers at Planned Parenthood negotiated the price for the parts of preborn babies on video – and – when the Center for Medical Progress made them public, those staffers seemed to “disappear” so they could not be questioned further. Instead their very savvy and well paid I might add, president Cecile Richards issued a swift “apology” for their gruesome operation.

But, why look at facts when you believe that preborn babies are not human and Planned Parenthood is a saint, right? Back to Winstead’s new video.

In the footage, which mocks a politician who later admits to being gay, the Planned Parenthood supporting “Caroler” arrives playing “Silent Night” and flashing a series of hateful messages at the person (allegedly a pro-life politician) who answers the door. After leading him to believe she was there for Caroling, she quickly waves a message at him reading, “A**hole.”

We could pause right here to imagine the outrage from the media if this had been a video created by a pro-life comedian who went “Caroling” to the home of an abortion politician and then waved hate-filled messages in his face- but- let’s just move on.

In Winstead’s video, the messages go from bad to worse and read as follows:

LadyPartsJustice Lies Planned Parenthood

LadyPartsJustice Lies Planned Parenthood 2

LadyPartsJustice Lies Planned Parenthood 3

And- it gets even worse as the alleged Planned Parenthood supporting “Caroler” delivers the message “Merry F-ing Christmas” to the faux pro-life politician.

As she readies to leave, the Planned Parenthood supporter shoots the politician the proverbial “bird.” You can view the video here, but I warn you there is graphic language and it isn’t funny. Personally, I wouldn’t waste any valuable time on it if I were you.

Lady Parts Justice Merry F Christmas Planned Parenthood

Lady Parts Justice Christmas Planned Parenthood

There is a bright light hidden in this twisted pro-abortion parody though.

That is that while Winstead uses vulgarity, hatred, and deception to slander pro-life politicians, a beautiful song like “Silent Night” is playing in the background announcing the arrival of the newborn baby who was lovingly sent to save the world from their sin. A baby, that those who support abortion would say could have been killed in the womb if Mary wanted to. But, she didn’t.

How Ironic! Merry Christmas Liz.

Hospital halts training program with late term abortion clinic which provides “fetal tissue”

Univ NM

A New Mexico University has halted a training program using doctors from a late term abortion clinic which provides the University with fetal tissue for research. The Albuquerque Journal newspaper has reported that the University of New Mexico (UNM), which is a publicly-funded institution, has cut ties with Southwestern Women’s Options (SWO), a late-term abortion facility owned by Texas abortionist Curtis Boyd and has been the subject if a previous undercover sting conducted by Live Action. The abortionist is one of a handful of doctors in the country that performs abortions in the third trimester. He claims to be a former Baptist minister and admits that he knows he “is killing.” Southwestern Women’s has a location in Dallas and one in Albuquerque.

Pro-lifers Tara and Bud Shaver who founded the pro-life group, ProtestABQ, have diligently exposed the late term clinic for years. In July, Tara Shaver filed a formal criminal complaint with the Attorney General of New Mexico asking for a complete and thorough investigation of Boyd’s clinic following revelations that Planned Parenthood was taking part in a gruesome baby parts operation. Shaver indicated Boyd was also using the body parts of babies he aborted for research. She based her allegations on documents obtained by prolifewitness.org indicating SWO staff members are, “ in fact, harvesting baby body parts for use in medical research.”

The documents included copies Southwestern Women’s Options (SWO) informed consent paperwork which every abortion patient must sign indicating that Boyd and (SWO) may be using aborted babies in medical research.

The 2015 consent form (image above) states:

“I understand that the pregnancy tissue will be removed from my body during this procedure. The pregnancy tissue may be examined here at the Clinic and the Clinic doctors may dispose of the tissue according to the law. The pregnancy tissue may be used for medical research.”

This consent form from 2012 (image below) says, “tissue and parts will be removed during the procedure.”

2012-Abortion-Consent-Southwestern-abortion-Boys-fetal-harvest

The form goes on to state, “and I consent to their examination and their use in medical research and their disposal by the clinic and/or physician in the manner they deem appropriate.”

Protest ABQ pointed out that New Mexico has a law prohibiting the selling of body parts. But despite the law, UNMH officials admitted to the Journal that they have been accepting fetal tissue from Boyd’s clinic for a decade claiming the abortionist is not paid for the baby body parts. In addition, Dr. Richard Larson, executive vice chancellor and vice chancellor for research at the UNMHSC, the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center, told the Journal that Boyd’s clinic is the school’s only supplier of fetal tissue.

To justify the use of dead children in the late gestational age, Larson told the Journal that the “fetal tissue” they collect from Boyd will, “reduce the mortality of premature babies, especially these extremely premature babies.” Officials also claim that their grisly research will reduce the likelihood of blindness, cognitive defects and other anomalies found in newborns between 24 and 30 weeks, the same age as the babies Boyd kills. In a May 2015 letter to UNMH, the Journal reports that Boyd specified that in abortions of less than 20 weeks, his doctors use “aspiration, dilation and evacuation.” Abortions after 20 weeks involve “feticide” by injecting the fetus with the drug Digoxin, Boyd’s letter states.

University officials still find the use of “fetal tissue” acceptable. What they are now publicly distancing themselves from is their training program with Boyd’s clinic and fellow abortionists staff who were described as “faculty” under the training agreements with UNM. The decision by UNMHSC officials to no longer send medical fellows or residents to Boyd’s clinic, follows a letter from New Mexico state Rep. Rod Montoya and other legislators who questioned top Health Sciences Center officials last July about the relationship with Boyd’s clinic and the use of “body parts” from women who have abortions there, the paper states. Montoya told the Journal that the argument could be made that the residents and fellows were helping the clinic augment its staffing for abortions.

“Initially, it had the appearance of being a transaction of sorts,” Montoya said, according to the Journal. “Of staffing in return for the body parts. That’s the appearance, and I informed them, ‘that’s how it appears to me,’ ” adding that he is concerned that there is no oversight of abortion clinics in the state.

“We know that the vast majority of New Mexicans believe we should not have a free-for-all when it comes to abortion
,” the Representative said.

In addition to the using fetal tissue for research in New Mexico a former employee of Boyd’s testified that he also had an agreement with the Director of Fetal Research at the University of Texas Health Science Center to use “large babies” for fetal research there. The former staffer, Nita Whitten, made this statement at a “Meet the Abortion Providers” workshop sponsored by the Pro-life Action League of Chicago, directed by Joe Scheidler:

“One thing that happened at the clinic that I worked at that was incredibly devastating, right before I left. Dr. Boyd had made an agreement with a doctor, and I cannot name this doctor because I just don’t think it would be wise to name him today, but he was the Director of Fetal Research at the University of Texas Health Science Center at that time. He had made an agreement with this doctor to give him our large babies for him to do fetal research on. They did this, and I believe at the time, it was against the law. I don’t know if it is now, and I’m not familiar with the legal terms because I’m not a lawyer, but I remember we were told not to tell anyone, and they only came in secret to get the babies…He had them come in and they dissected a baby for us in our lab room so we could see what they were doing with the body parts. They did that right there and everybody filed in and looked. I looked at it. I pretended like I was being brave and walked out. It made me sick.”

Bud Shaver described the University’s “fetal tissue research” program as unethical and immoral and said that he is now calling for them to cut all ties with the late term abortion doctor, “The University of New Mexico (UNM) has been caught red handed trafficking and using baby body parts for their medical research,” he told Saynsumthn.

“This is unethical and immoral which is why Protest ABQ is calling for UNM to cut all ties with Curtis Boyd at Southwestern Women’s Options (SWO) which is their sole provider of baby remains. The fact that the residency training rotation has been stopped at SWO is merely a bandaid on the bigger problem which is UNM’s overall radical abortion agenda which is what Protest ABQ is demanding UNM to halt,” he added.

Free speech at stake in NAF lawsuit against CMP as judge is set to issue opinion

Posted in Aborted Babies for Electricity, Aborted Baby Body Parts, Censorship, Center for Medical Progress, free speech, National Abortion Federation with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on December 27, 2015 by saynsumthn

A federal judge has ruled that secret recordings from a pro-life group who infiltrated a National Abortion Federation meeting to expose a grisly baby parts harvesting operation does not show criminal activity, according to a report by the Associated Press.

Deb Van Derhei NAF Harvesting babies

In July, the National Abortion Federation (NAF) sued the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) accusing CMP of using fake names, infiltration, and hidden cameras to obtain the damning evidence. San Francisco Judge William Orrick granted NAF a temporary restraining order to prevent the release of the tapes. But, while the effort to suppress the videos were making their way through the courts,GotNews.com published them, claiming they were leaked to them by a hacker.

In their lawsuit, NAF claimed that CMP infiltrators “snuck into” their allegedly secure and supposedly private meetings to obtain video evidence that their members were buying fetal tissue. In response to the lawsuit, CMP claimed that their investigators conducted their investigation legally, and that NAF welcomed lead investigator David Daleiden and the other investigators as dealers in fetal tissue believing that Daleiden’s test company, BioMax, would pay abortion providers for fetal specimens. “NAF even provided Daleiden unsolicited information about the meeting’s agenda and location,” attorney’s for CMP stated.

But, according to the AP report, Judge Orrick does not agree. From the story:

Recordings secretly made by an anti-abortion group at meetings of abortion providers do not show criminal activity and could put the providers at risk, a federal judge said Friday, citing the recent shooting at a Colorado Planned Parenthood clinic.

U.S. District Judge William Orrick made the comments during a hearing over the National Abortion Federation’s request for a preliminary injunction that would continue to block the release of the recordings. Orrick did not immediately issue a ruling. He previously issued a temporary restraining order blocking the recordings pending the outcome of the preliminary injunction hearing.

Pro-lifers who have viewed the leaked tapes say that the NAF lawsuit is equivalent to censorship because NAF does not want the public to know the truth about abortion. The videos show plenty of evidence that NAF members were not only involved in harvesting fetal tissue but were holding presentations about the process during their meetings. A sampling of a few of the recordings show that NAF members:

Conference attendees applauding horrific late-term abortion procedure
NAF held presentations on harvesting aborted baby parts
NAF members and a majority of the women they service know they are killing a baby
Abortion clinics dispose of preborn children in garbage disposals
Burning aborted babies for energy fuel may really be happening
A cold and callous disregard for the dead
A Planned Parenthood abortionist and NAF attendee admitted being involved in fetal tissue research with, “independent / individual researchers”

Continuing with the AP report:

Orrick made a statement that doctors who appeared in CMP’s videos have received death threats. He also cited suspected arson at abortion clinics and the November shooting at the Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood clinic that left three people dead and nine wounded.

Catherine Short, an attorney for the Center for Medical Progress, said there was no evidence the Colorado shooter was motivated by the group’s videos or that doctors have been directly threatened. The release of the recordings is vital to furthering public discussion about topics such as whether the country’s abortion laws are too loosely written, she said. The center says in court documents its work is the equivalent of investigative journalism and protected by the First Amendment.

And, Short is correct, investigative journalism is not only protected by the First Amendment but the tactics used by CMP have been used by journalists in all sorts of investigations as Live Action News has detailed here. In fact, free speech issues in this case are so great that the U.S. Reporters’ Committee filed a ‘friend of the Court’ submission before the district court hearing NAF’s case, protesting that ‘any prior restraint on speech that is issued by a court has the potential to significantly affect the First Amendment rights of the news media and the public at large.’

we are compelled to write at this early juncture because any prior restraint on speech that is issued by a court has the potential to significantly affect the First Amendment rights of the news media and the public at large. The ramifications of having such a restraint in place go well beyond the unique facts of this dispute, they wrote.

Tom Brejcha, Thomas More Society President and Chief Counsel which presented arguments against NAF in the case agreed accusing NAF of working with Planned Parenthood to suppress Daleiden’s First Amendment rights.

“Equally as any other investigative journalist working for ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox News, or your local print or electronic media outlet may regularly resort to undercover journalism tactics to ferret out hidden crime, so too David Daleiden should have the right to penetrate the criminal underworld of America’s abortion providers and report all the evidence he has uncovered of criminal wrongdoing to law enforcement and to members of the public.”

The brief that Thomas More Society and co-counsel have filed on behalf of Daleiden in opposition to NAF’s preliminary injunction includes:

Information about the precedent set by the recent Animal Legal Defense Fund v. Otter case, where the 9th Circuit ruled definitively that investigative journalism is not “fraud” and fully protected by the First Amendment.

Admissions from NAF and Planned Parenthood abortion providers about their criminal participation in trafficking in aborted baby body parts documented at NAF meetings, redacted from the public filing and prevented from release by court order.

The blatantly unconstitutional character of prior restraints on speech.

If NAF wins this case, criminals will rejoice and journalists will weep,” Brejcha said.

Both sides are watching for the decision to be released.

Abortionist blames pro-lifers for his racist statement in “apology video” to African Americans

Posted in Abortion Racism, Abortionist, Abortionist Racist with tags , , , , , , , on December 27, 2015 by saynsumthn

Abortionist Ron Virmani was caught on tape calling babies he kills with abortion “ugly black babies” – the video of his statements went viral.

Ron Virmani

On July 26, 2012 pro-life activists paid a visit to Ron Virmani’s home asking him to repent.

Virami claims the group taped him illegally – and put it on you tube. He admits that he made the following racist statement:

“Why don’t you adopt those ugly black babies?”

After the video (above) of his exchange with pro-lifers went viral- the abortionist whose apparent views were now public – issued the following apology to “African Americans” and claimed to be a supporter of the NAACP, Obama and MLK.

Ron Virmani YouTube apology

He says in his “apology video” that the “anti-choice” (a negative term for people who oppose the brutal taking of human life in the womb) “orchestrated” this event to make him look like a “racist and a horrible person.”

I guess they must have known he would say such racist statements if he was confronted on abortion?

The only problem with Virmani’s analysis is that the doctor Ron Virmani himself is the one who said the racist statement not the “anti-choice” people. Just who is making who look “horrible” I would ask?

Instead of taking responsibility for his racist remarks – he blames the pro-lifers who videoed him.

They use every legal and illegal tactic to provoke me and get a reaction,” he says in the alleged “apology” video, claiming it was illegal for them to appear at his home.

I lost my cool in the heated exchange – that is when those words came out of my mouth,” he explains.

But, if you listen to the alleged “heated exchange”- the only one “heated” seems to be Virmani in my view.

Here is the transcript:

Virmani: “Don’t put it on the taxpayers, okay? I don’t wish to pay for the baby with my money.”

Prolifer You would rather profit off those children?”

Virmani: “No no no I am not profiting. I as a tax payer do not wish to pay for those babies to be born and brought up and kill those people in Colorado.”

Prolifers “We do – we do.”

Virmani: “Go ahead and pay for them. Let me see you adopt one of those ugly black babies.”

Prolifers We do – we do we do.” “If you tell us we will adopt them.”

Virmani: “Yeah go ahead – adopt those babies okay? Take them off the taxpayers money okay?”

Virmani suggests that the racist words that came out of his mouth for which he apologized for were the pro-lifers point of view and not his.

“My implication was that, it was their point of view – it is absolutely not my point of view,” he says in the “apology.”

“Unknown to me they were taping…they are relentlessly targeting me…Still these groups put this illegally made video on youtube and label me as a racist by taking my words out of context.”

For review these were Virmani’s words verbatim:

Don’t put it on the taxpayers, okay? I don’t wish to pay for the baby with my money.”

No no no I am not profiting. I as a tax payer do not wish to pay for those babies to be born and brought up and kill those people in Colorado.”

Go ahead and pay for them. Let me see you adopt one of those ugly black babies.”

Yeah go ahead – adopt those babies okay? Take them off the taxpayers money okay?”

His apology vid continues with the abortionist claiming he is “not a racist.”

Adding that he works “with African American – Spanish and Caucasian people. My patients are very divers…I have supported NAACP for a long time. I have supported President Obama since 2007. I have been a founding sponsor of Dr. MLK JR. Memorial in Washington DC. much before this incident.

“I stand here today to sincerely apologize to African American people for my words that came out in extreme anger towards those fanatics,” he said.

And he seems sincere – until you realize that although he made the racist statements in 2012 -he didn’t upload the alleged “apology” until February of 2014…but…who am I to judge. Watch for yourself:

81 abortion clinics closed or reduced services in 2015

Posted in Operation Rescue, Pro-Life with tags , , , , on December 23, 2015 by saynsumthn

The total number abortion clinics in America continues to decline, following nationwide trend extending back to 1991. In 2015, abortion clinics closed at a rate of more than one per week with 53 abortion clinics shutting down or halting all abortion services.

Operation Rescue surveyed by telephone all abortion facilities in the U.S. from December 1-15, 2015 and found the following:

* 42 Surgical abortion clinics halted all abortion services.
* 11 Medical abortion clinics halted all abortion services.

In addition, a number of abortion facilities reduced services:

* 16 abortion clinics halted surgeries and now offer only medication abortions.
* 12 abortion clinics stopped dispensing abortion drugs and now only offer surgical abortions, noting that the abortion pill was “ineffective” or “too dangerous.”

In all, 81 abortion clinics closed or reduced services in 2015.

Currently, there are 517 surgical abortion clinics and 213 medication abortion clinics remaining active in the U.S., the lowest numbers in decades.

In 1991, which is considered the high water mark for the number of abortion clinics, there were 2,176 surgical facilities offering abortions. Since then, 81% have closed.

“There is a direct correlation between the number of abortion and the number of abortion clinics. When abortion clinic close, abortion numbers decrease and lives are saved,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman.

In addition, Operation Rescue obtained data on wait times for abortion appointments and average price of common first-trimester abortion procedures that debunk assumptions that the Abortion Cartel falsely portrays as fact.

The results show that the national average wait for an abortion appointment is 8.5 days, much less that the approximately five weeks it takes to get a dentist appointment.

In Texas, where a 2013 abortion law is being challenged at the U.S. Supreme Court next spring, abortion supporters wrongly claim that the closing of half the state’s abortion clinics has overwhelmed remaining clinics, leading to higher costs and longer appointment wait times in weeks.

However, Operation Rescue’s new data confirms that the average wait time for an abortion appointment in Texas is 6.5 days – two full days below the national average. The cost of a first trimester surgical abortion in Texas is also below the national average cost of $594.74.

“Closures can be at least partially attributable to the Abortion Cartel’s inability to follow the law. Given that propensity, we are confident the trend of abortion clinic closures will continue,” said Newman.
