Boehner calls for Planned Parenthood investigation after pro-lifers rally outside demanding they are defunded

Speaker of the House John Boehner called for congressional hearings into the practices of Planned Parenthood shortly after a large group of pro-lifers gathered to demand that the abortion chain which shops up babies for parts be defunded.

“Nothing is more precious than life, especially an unborn child. When anyone diminishes an unborn child, we are all hurt, irreversibly so. When an organization monetizes an unborn child – and with the cavalier attitude portrayed in this horrific video – we must all act,” Boehner said.

Earlier today, pro-lifers gathered outside Boehner’s office to call for the defunding of Planned Parenthood as well as Congressional Hearings.

It is important to note that the top Planned Parenthood official is on the video talking about the sale of body parts not tissue, “it is important to note,” stated Rev. Pat Mahoney who helped lead the demonstration along with Mark Harrington who heads the group, Created Equal.

“Planned Parenthood was founded by a racist, a KKK Supporter who spoke at KKK Rallies, who was a Nazi sympathizer, who wanted to reduce the numbers of Black persons,” Rev. Mohoney stated.

He said that America should not be funding such and organization!!

In his press release about Planned Parenthood’s selling of baby body parts, Boehner also said he would ask Human Services Secretary Sylvia Burwell to put a stop to the grisly operation despite HHS granting millions of dollars to the abortion giant.

“As a start, I have asked our relevant committees to look into this matter. I am also calling on President Obama and Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Burwell to denounce, and stop, these gruesome practices, ” the Ohio Republican added.

Burwell’s Department of Health and Human Services, is very friendly with Planned Parenthood, granting them millions of dollars in tax payer dollars.

As Life Dynamics has previously reported, over 5.6 million dollars in federal money was allocated in July to various Planned Parenthood affiliates under a teen prevention program run by HHS.

That announcement came July 4, 2015 from the Office of Adolescent Health, which is responsible for implementing and administering the national, evidence based Teen Pregnancy Prevention (TPP) Program.

Last week it was discovered that an additional $18.5 million has also been granted to Planned Parenthood by HHS.

The discovery came from a press release published by the largest chain of abortion clinics which covers for pedophiles by not reporting the sexual assaults of some children, that Planned Parenthood received the $18.75 million from the Office of Adolescent Health (OAH) which is under the Department of Health and Human Services.

Will Boehner call on the head of HHS to revoke those grants as well?

Through their PR Firm, Planned Parenthood has described the horrific act of chopping up an unborn child after they abort it, as “humanitarian undertakings.”

In addition to Boehner, Texas Governor Gregg Abbott and Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal are calling for investigations.

GOP 2016 Presidential hopefuls Ted Cruz, former Texas Governor Rick Perry and Carly Fiorina have condemned the practice as well.
