#SayHerName Black woman dead after Planned Parenthood abortion now forgotten

Well…they did it again.

Those hypocrites over at Planned Parenthood keep – shall we say “stepping in it?”

This time, the abortion giant tweeted to the hashtag #SayHerName which is exposing police violence against Black women.

So, in “solidarity” for concern of “Black women” the organization which was founded by a Klan speaking racist (watch Maafa21) tweeted this, “#SayHerName: We stand in #solidarity with the activists elevating police violence against black women.”

Sounds legitimate, right?

WRONG!

One would wonder that, if Planned Parenthood were concerned about the death of Black women why they allowed a 24-year-old Black woman to bleed for 5 hours inside their facility after a botched abortion before calling for emergency care.

Her name was Tonya Reaves.

According to the website SafeandLegal.com, after Tonya’s botched abortion took place, she was left to bleed for five and a half hours in the Planned Parenthood clinic without medical treatment. Furthermore, when Ms. Reaves was finally transferred to the hospital, it took several more hours for her to be treated properly, which indicates that Planned Parenthood did not provide the hospital with sufficient information regarding Ms. Reaves’ condition. The autopsy after her death revealed that Ms. Reaves had suffered perforation of the uterus.

The care or shall we say lack of care, that Planned Parenthood gave to this Black woman was so egregious that Planned Parenthood of Illinois, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation were order to pay Tonya’s family $2,000,000.00 in a wrongful death settlement.

What is interesting is that Reaves’ death was ruled an accident by the same Medical Examiners Office whose top administrator was appointed by what appears to be an avid pro-abortion Planned Parenthood supporter.

Accident?

Okay – I guess when this Black woman died we should just all accept the decision by those in charge – right?

WRONG!

Enter Toni Preckwinkle

A month prior to Tonya’s death, County Board president, Toni Preckwinkle appointed Daryl Jackson to head the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office until a replacement could be found for Dr. Nancy Jones, who was to resign.

According to the Chicago Tribune:

In June of 2012, After months of evaluating operations and making lower-level changes at the troubled county morgue, Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle launched a major shake-up that included the departure of the two top officials at the medical examiner’s office.

Out was Medical Examiner Nancy Jones, who will retire at the end of July, and Kimberly Jackson, the top administrator in the office. In was Daryl Jackson, a longtime state Public Health Department supervisor that Preckwinkle chose as the new administrator. And a nationwide search was launched to replace Jones.

In 2012, Preckwinkle appointed Jackson to executive director.

Curiously, the abortion giant has supported Preckwinkle in her political endeavors.

In April of 2012 Preckwinkle was a special guest at a Planned Parenthood gala.

Cook County Board President was also in attendance at Planned Parenthood’s 2010 Campaign Kickoff !

And, later in 2015 Preckwinkle attended this Planned Parenthood event sponsored by Planned Parenthood Illinois Action (PPIA) to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of the landmark Supreme Court case Roe v. Wade which legalized abortion on demand.

Reboot Illinois reported that Preckwinkle is a large donor to Planned Parenthood Illinois Action PAC.

When Tonya Reaves died after her July 2012 abortion, her autopsy was performed by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office which ruled her death an accident.

Doesn’t it seem odd that the person in charge of appointments for the County Medical Examiner has been a HUGE Planned Parenthood supporter, participating consistently in their events for years, and when a Black woman’s death looks suspicious, the office she oversees rules it an accident?

But – then again – we are talking about the death of a Black woman and I am sure Planned Parenthood is glad they will no longer have to #SayHerName.

Medical Examiner Hid Info Showing Planned Parenthood Killed Patient

Operation Rescue, who requested a copy of the autopsy on Ms. Reaves, indicates that it was not provided the complete autopsy report — indicating six pages were omitted that place the blame squarely on Planned Parenthood’s shoulders. The copy the pro-life group received from the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office was missing the six important pages that further detailed Reaves fatal abortion injuries and noted that Planned Parenthood was where her abortion took place.

The sanitized copy sent to Operation Rescue contained no mention of Planned Parenthood. The omission was discovered when attorneys for the Thomas More Society, a pro-life legal group that also had filed an open records request for the report, compared notes with Operation Rescue.

At the time Ms. Reaves death became public, the pro-life group, Life Dynamics asked officials in Cook County to investigate Tonya’s death as “depraved indifference murder,” which they refused to do.

Coincidence?

Maybe not…

OTHER COOK COUNTY AND ILLINOIS OFFICIALS SUPPORTER PLANNED PARENTHOOD

As an additional point of interest, the Cook County Medical Examiner now employees the former President of the Board of Directors for Planned Parenthood of Illinois, Kimberly Foxx, who, according to her LinkedIn page, worked for the Cook County State’s Attorney Office during the time pro-lifers were calling for an investigation of Planned Parenthood.

In addition, Cook County Prosecutor Anita Alvarez has been endorsed by Planned Parenthood PAC according to this voting guide.

Foxx is now looking to replace Cook County Prosecutor Anita Alvarez.

MORE POLITICAL POWER SUPPORTING PLANNED PARENTHOOD:

LISA MADIGAN is the Attorney General of Illinois. According to the Chicago Tribune, Lisa Madigan became the first woman to serve as Illinois Attorney General when she was elected on Nov. 5, 2002.

In 2009, Madigan joined with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), representing the Planned Parenthood Federation of America and others in a federal lawsuit.

Madigan answered a questionnaire on the positions she supported this way:

I am pro-choice, and my voting as State Senator record backs this up. While I was in the Illinois Senate, I supported a woman’s right to choose as recognized by Roe v. Wade. I had a 100% pro-choice voting record, including supporting legislation to provide public funding of abortion services for low-income women.

In the lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the parental notification law, it was my responsibility under the constitution to represent the defendants. When my office’s legal research showed that the law was constitutional, based on the fact that federal courts around the country have upheld parental notice laws, including laws that are more stringent than Illinois’, my office defended the law. In 2013, the Illinois Supreme Court upheld the law under the Illinois Constitution.

In addition, working with Planned Parenthood, I have supported legislation to amend Illinois’ parental notice law.

I am pro-choice, and my voting as State Senator record backs this up. While I was in the Illinois Senate, I supported a woman’s right to choose as recognized by Roe v. Wade. That same year, Planned Parenthood endorses the Illinois Attorney General.

In 2013, not only did Cook County President Toni Preckwinkle and Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan, celebrate the 40th anniversary of legalized abortion with Planned Parenthood of Illinois but so did Illinois Lieutenant Governor Sheila Simon, Representative Tom Cross (R-84), RepresentativeJan Schakowsky (D-9), Representative Bill Foster (D-11), and author Sara Paretsky.

In addition, some national political power showed up including former senior advisor to President Barack Obama David Axelrod, Senate President John Cullerton, Mayor Rahm Emanuel, and former Illinois state senator, comptroller, and candidate for governor, Dawn Clark Netsch, who was honored with the Dr. Marvin Rosner Lifetime Achievement Award.

In 2014 , Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle; U.S. Reps. Jan Schakowsky, Mike Quigley, Robin Kelly, Brad Schneider and Bill Foster; Durbin; Lt. Gov. Sheila Simon; state Sens. Heather Steans, Michael Frerichs, Toi Hutchinson and Dan Kotowski; and state Reps. Barbara Flynn Currie, Scott Drury, Robyn Gable, Greg Harris, Camille Lilly, Sara Feigenholtz, Dan Williams and Dick Durbin and other notables attended Planned Parenthood’s Gala.

SO, to tie this all together, as Planned Parenthood expresses faux concern for Black women in their #SayHerName tweet, they have forgotten the name of a Black abortion patient which died at their hands: Tonya Reaves. And, perhaps, just perhaps they avoided a depraved indifference murder investigation because of all their political clout.
