Hillary Clinton praises racist Margaret Sanger founder of Planned Parenthood

Margaret Sanger was a racist.

Margaret_Sanger1

She advocated eugenics. She supported the use of sterilization to rid the planet of the “unfit”.

Sanger admitted in her own autobiography that she was invited by the Klan to give them a speech.

Sanger KKK

Did I say one invite? Nope, according to Margaret Sanger she received a dozen invites by the KKK.

So….why would anyone and I do mean anyone accept an award named after a racist Klan speaker?

Good question….one that Hillary Rodham Clinton might want to answer.

In 2009, Hillary Clinton received Planned Parenthood’s Margaret Sanger Award.

PPFA Hillary Margaret Sanger Award

The announcement posted to the US Secretary of State website read, “Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) will present its highest honor, the PPFA Margaret Sanger Award, to Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton at the PPFA awards gala in Houston, Texas on Friday, March 27. Secretary Clinton will receive this award for her unwavering support of women’s health and rights throughout her public service career. Actor America Ferrera will co-host the event with PPFA President Cecile Richards. The awards gala will take place at the George R. Brown Convention Center on 1001 Avenida de las Americas in Houston.”

I admire Margaret Sanger enormously, her courage, her tenacity, her vision,” said Hillary Rodham Clinton, “I am really in awe of her, there are a lot of lessons we can learn from her life.

Later in her speech, Hillary says, “Yet we know that Margaret Sanger’s work here in the United States and certainly across our globe is not done…”

Really?

Don’t let her accomplish Sanger’s vision in 2016.

  47. Except Sanger was not a racist and was admired by many during her time. Two notable American are MLK Jr and his wife.

MLK Jr and his wife admired and praised Sanger for helping black people when he received the Sanger Award. They both admired and respected Sanger for her helping improve the lives of Black Americans.

“There is a striking kinship between our movement and Margaret Sanger’s early efforts. …Our sure beginning in struggle for equality by nonviolent direct action may not have been so resolute without the tradition established by Margaret Sanger and people like her (King, 1966).
