Abortion advocate documents March for Life on Twitter

NARAL describes abortion activist, Robin Marty is, “a prominent feminist and freelance pro-choice journalist, and she’s brought an incredible amount of awareness in particular to what women really face outside abortion clinics. You’ll find Robin in Politico, Rolling Stone, and Cosmopolitan but she’s also crowdfunded to do her own research to expose the harassment that’s occurred outside abortion clinics for decades.”

The group listed Marty as 1 of their “15 Awesome Pro-Choice Activists Who Work to #ProtectTheZone!

Marty, who blogs for the pro-abortion RH Reality Check, describes herself on Twitter as, “Freelance author, speaker & activist. True-true, hard-core pro-abortion militant according to NRLC. Politico Magazine, Rolling Stone, & more.”

So it was pretty amazing when Marty’s twitter feed began filling up with reports from the March for Life, in D.C. this week, where hundreds of thousands of pro-lifers gathered to mourn the legalization of abortion.

Marty began by reporting early activities before the march, such as a youth Die-In outside the White House organized by the group Survivors as well as a prayer vigil outside the D.C. Planned Parenthood with leaders such as Fr. Frank Pavone, Bryan Kemper, and Pat Mahoney among others.

Her tweets were quite informative as she bounced around documenting one pro-life event after the other.

Marty even got a picture with long-time pro-life artist Bryan Kemper who tweeted, “@robinmarty it was great meeting you. I know we vehemently disagree about #abortion but I appreciate your civility.”

Pro-life blogger, Jill Stanek grabbed this shop of Marty conversing with Operation Rescue president, Troy Newman. Stanek tweeted that Newman tried to convert Marty:

Marty did a great job covering the various events even getting a shout out from the March for Life twitter page:

MFL thanks Marty

Marty wrote a report which was published by Cosmopolitan.

She tweeted to Students for Life head, Kristan Hawkins, that the quote she published of pro-life college leader was a “good one.”

That article received a shout out from the Radiance Foundation founded by Ryan Bomberger, “Excellent article about #prolife mov’t thoughts on #20WeekAbortionBan by @robinmarty in @Cosmopolitan. http://bit.ly/5MonthBan, he tweeted.

She even caught Bomberger marching with his family:

Marty attended the rally of protest outside the offices of Rep. Renee Ellmers and organized by Jill Stanek after Ellmers sabotaged a planned late term abortion ban vote.

All in all, Marty did a good job covering the March For Life. You can read quotes from many of the attendees, speakers, and leaders as she tweeted them on her Twitter page here.

Marty’s Cosmo article can be read here.

I would like to end this blog post by focusing on the picture Marty headlined her Cosmo piece with.

Elasine Riddick MFL 2015

It is a picture of Elaine Riddick marching in the 2015 March for Life rally.

Riddick was featured in the powerful documentary film which exposed the racist roots of abortion, Maafa21. There she details how the State of North Carolina forcefully sterilized her at the tender age of 14 after she became pregnant from a rape and then delivered her son.

They cut me open like I was a hog,” said Riddick, who was sterilized at age 14.

Riddick said her only crime was being poor, BLACK, and from a bad home environment.

Riddick’s testimony and outspoken disdain for abortion and Planned Parenthood is well-known, yet Marty, who featured her picture in the column, said nothing about Riddick.

While in DC, Riddick attended a conference for rape conceived and/or women who refused abortions after being raped. This does not fit the pro-choice agenda which claims abortion should remain legal for such cases.

Riddick is heading to Oakland today, to join Black leaders in speaking against the Black Genocide aspects of abortion. Maybe Marty will watch Elaine’s story and report on it, after all her beloved Planned Parenthood has ties to the racist eugenics movement and maybe, just maybe, she will also report that. Or…maybe not!
