Wendy Davis whose claim to fame was standing in the Texas legislature for hours to stop restrictions on late term abortions was greeted in Los Angeles Thursday morning, with life-sized posters depicting her as “Abortion Barbie”

Davis is running for Governor in Texas funded by BIG ABORTION dollars!

The posters say “Hollywood welcomes Abortion Barbie Wendy Davis,” and they show Davis’ face on a the barbie doll with a plastic baby in her belly and a giant scissors. Conservative pundit Erick Erickson nicknamed Davis “Abortion Barbie” earlier this year.

The Texas Democrat is in LA working the rich and famous for campaign donations. Director Steven Spielberg is among the hosts of the “celebration and fundraiser honoring Davis” on the rooftop of the Bad Robot in Santa Monica, California. Besides Davis, it benefits Battleground Texas, dedicated to making Texas competitive for Democrats.

The tab for hosts is $25,000, while contributions range down to $1,000 at the “friend” level.

Kathryn Stuard donated to conservative street artist Leonard Sabo to help create the poster. The amount was not disclosed.

Davis’ campaign told The Huffington Post that it spotted at least five of the posters in different outdoor places around the city, including one on the campus of the University of California, Los Angeles.

Campaign spokesman Zac Petkanas called the posters offensive and said they demonstrate that the her pro-life opponent Greg Abbott campaign is out of touch with women.

However- polls indicated that Davis is running way behind Abbott who is believed to be the favorite in a state that by and large despises child killing.
