Florida Democrat Congressman to attend ribbon cutting for Planned Parenthood mega-center near Disney

Florida Congressman Alan Grayson will do the ribbon cutting for a new mega-center Planned Parenthood in the state.

Congressman Alan Grayson is a Democrat serving Florida’s 9th District in the U.S. House of Representatives. He was sworn in to office on January 3, 2013. Congressman Grayson serves on the Foreign Affairs Committee, as well as the Science and Technology Committee. Alan previously represented Florida’s 8th District in the 111th Congress.

On Wednesday, Planned Parenthood of Greater Orlando will cut ground on the first Planned Parenthood health center in Osceola County at 610 Oak Commons Blvd., Kissimmee, with a ribbon-cutting event.

According to the abortion giant, speakers will include Jenna Tosh, CEO; Congressman Alan Grayson; Rev. Peggy Howland (invocation); Stephanie Estrella, Kissimmee resident and Planned Parenthood organizer.

On May 3, a group of 70 physicians took out a full page ad on page 2 of the Osceola News Gazette to encourage Kissimmee, Florida, citizens to join them in attempting to keep Planned Parenthood of Greater Orlando from opening an abortion mill in their community, which is just 20 minutes from Walt Disney World.

Planned Parenthood kept its plan secret until March, when pro-lifer Jay Rogers discovered its scheme while researching another proposed abortion clinic.

According to an Orlando Sentinel interview with Planned Parenthood president and CEO, Jenna Tosh, the Kissimmee mega center will target “a largely Hispanic population.” Tosh emphasized several times in the article that the center would target the “ethnic” community and “the young and diverse population” of Osceola County.

The Sentinel article stated that funding for the new Planned Parenthood $2 million mega center came from over 30 individuals and foundations.

Planned Parenthood of Orlando which the new center will be affiliated was known for targeting the victims of Katrina with “population control” when they offered “free contraception” to those who lost their homes to the Hurricane:

“The new facility is currently undergoing renovation to meet PPGO’s specifications,” Jenna Tosh, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood of Greater Orlando said in an email. “The Kissimmee Health Center will have 8 exam rooms, 4 counseling rooms, and ample space for educational seminars and community meetings. … We are looking forward to opening our doors in May and serving the community of Osceola County women and families.”
