Former Portland Council candidate bids for high $$$ job at tax funded Planned Parenthood

Former Portland City Council candidate and soon-to-be ex Rep. Mary Nolan is a candidate for the top job at Planned Parenthood of the Columbia-Willamette.

The nonprofit confirmed to WW this afternoon that Nolan, who lost a bid to unseat incumbent City Commissioner Amanda Fritz in November, is a candidate for the CEO position. She would replace David Greenberg, who left his $196,000 a-year-post earlier this year following contentious contract negotiations with the Service Employees International Union.

Planned Parenthood received $349.6 million in tax dollars in the fiscal year ending on June 30, 2008, and $363.2 MILLION Dollars on Government Grants ( Tax Dollars) in 2009– that is ONE MILLION DOLLARS PER DAY of taxpayer money !!!

In addition, according to Planned Parenthood’s “Services” fact sheet, its clinics performed 329,445 abortions in 2010.

Planned Parenthood then took those hard earned dollars away from poor and middle class hard working people and it paid its president, Cecile Richards, $385,163, plus another $11,876 in benefits and deferred compensation. ( View 2008 990 here )

The $385,163 in pay Planned Parenthood President Richards received in the organization’s fiscal year ending June 30, 2008 was recorded in the group’s publicly available Internal Revenue Service Form 990 filed for that year.

Richards also received $346,285 in total compensation from Planned Parenthood and $38,476 in total compensation from related groups in the organization’s fiscal year that ended on June 30, 2009, according to the organization’s Form 990 for that year. In a 2010 PPFA 990, Cecile Richards reported earning $319,245 from PPFA and $35,471 from related PP organizations

Planned Parenthood’s Form 990 filed with the Internal Revenue Service for tax year July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011, shows the Cecile Richards’ salary, benefits and compensation totaled $420,153.

In 2008, a former employee and abortionist for Planned Parenthood of the Columbia-Willamette in Oregon by the name of Dr. GEORGE ELLIOTT KABACY, M.D., was sentenced to 6 1/2 years in prison for possession of child pornography. He was not practicing at the Planned Parenthood at the time of his arrest.

Dr. George Elliott Kabacy was actively practicing as an OBGYN in Washington State at the time of his arrest in December 2006.

At the sentencing, Assistant U.S. Attorney Vince Lombardi said Kabacy “traded pictures of children being subjected to rape and degradation.”

Kabacy admitted in his plea agreement that he knowingly possessed more than 8,000 images of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

Kabacy also admits to possessing videos of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct, both on his computer and on 36 compact disks. Some of the images depict children under the age of 12, authorities said.

Kabacy admitted that he communicated with other people over the Internet, expressing his interest in having sex with minors and exchanging more than 40 images of child pornography with those other people over the Internet.

He first came to the attention of the FBI after the arrest of an Atlanta man who indicated he had communicated with Kabacy.

The man alleged that Kabacy had sent him a computer in exchange for the man’s promise that he would send Kabacy pornographic pictures of his grandchildren.

Kabacy moved to Washington state and worked until his arrest at Sound Choice Health Center in Olympia.He ceased practicing when he was indicted .
