BOSTON MASS:

A lawsuit filed on September 5, 2012, shows evidence that Planned Parenthood of Boston botched an abortion on a patient that caused her to be transported to a local hospital three hours later. This is the third known medical emergency at Planned Parenthood of Boston since January of last year.

According to the lawsuit, Melissa Cullen received a suction abortion at Planned Parenthood. Three hours after her release from the abortion clinic, Cullen blacked out from an “extreme loss of blood” and fell, hitting her face. She suffered a concussion, a sprained neck, two broken teeth, and a gash on her chin. She also claims to now suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

After fainting, Cullen was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital where she was told by physicians that “the abortion had been done wrong” according to court documents, which were hand-written by the plaintiff. Cullen is seeking $100,000 in damages.

In separate incidents, pro-life activists documented ambulances transporting women from this same Planned Parenthood abortion clinic on January 7, 2011, and July 7, 2012.

HOUSTON TX :

This incident comes on the heels of another one at a Planned Parenthood in Houston.

Operation Rescue: Boise, ID – An ambulance arrived at the Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Boise, Idaho, this afternoon and transported a woman to St. Luke’s Hospital in Boise where she was admitted to the Emergency Room. The cause of the medical emergency and condition of the woman is currently unknown; however, activists confirm that abortions were performed today at that Planned Parenthood facility.

The family of a Chicago woman who died after an abortion at Planned Parenthood says it wants answers about her death.

Tonya Reaves, 24, died late Friday July 20th night from a hemorrhage, with a cervical dilation and evacuation, as well as an intrauterine pregnancy as contributing causes, according to the medical examiner’s office. She died after she’d had an abortion at Planned Parenthood at 18 S. Michigan Av, according to the medical examiner’s office.

Life Dynamics president, Mark Crutcher, is calling on Cook County Illinois State’s Attorney, Anita Alvarez, to immediately launch an investigation into the death of Tonya Reaves. He says the investigation is necessary to determine if criminal charges are warranted under the state’s “depraved indifference murder” statutes.

What is now known is that the Planned Parenthood abortionist ripped a hole in Ms. Reaves’ uterus and she began to hemorrhage. It is also known that the Planned Parenthood staff let her lie there for over five hours before they called an ambulance.

Maurice Stevenson’s wife died of a blood infection in 2002 after undergoing an abortion at Planned Parenthood.

The Chicago Tribune asked Planned Parenthood about the death of Stevenson’s wife and they told the Tribune they could not confirm whether they had reported the 2002 death of Stevenson’s wife, only that it had reported the 2008 death of another patient.

In Feb of 2011, Emergency responders removed a patient from a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in St. Louis, Missouri, on Saturday morning and rushed her to the emergency room at Barnes-Jewish-Christian Hospital.

A witness, pro-life sidewalk counselor Marty Bennet, took over a dozen photos of the dramatic incident as the woman was wheeled out the clinic and into an awaiting ambulance. Photos showed that the woman’s head was covered and that there was no IV bag or any other sign of ongoing emergency care. There was no evidence that any Planned Parenthood staff member accompanied her to the hospital.

Bennet left a note offering assistance on the vehicle that accompanied the ambulance to the hospital. Later, the husband of the botched abortion victim contacted him to thank him for his concerns. He indicated that his wife is in stable condition.

“From June 2009 until April 2010, nine ambulances have been at Planned Parenthood and each time a client was transported to Barnes Hospital,” said Bennet in a written statement. “Is this safe medical care?”

Sioux City, IA

Local pro-life advocates providing abortion alternatives information to women outside the Planned Parenthood of the Heartland abortion facility in Sioux City, Iowa noted that, at 1:30 p.m. local time yesterday, an ambulance responded to an emergency call from Planned Parenthood. Once it arrived at the abortion clinic, the ambulance transported a patient to a local hospital.

May of 2010: A patient at a Florida Planned Parenthood was rushed to a local emergency room by ambulance Monday, Naples Daily News reported.

Officials could not confirm if the patient had an abortion do to privacy laws, but the facility schedules and performs abortions on Mondays.

“We had a medical call and just transported someone to the hospital for evaluation,” Cherie Wilson-Watson, spokeswoman for Collier County Emergency Medical Services said.
The president and chief executive officer of Planned Parenthood, Char Wendel, said she could not say whether the emergency was related to an abortion.

ORANGE COUNTY CA

Sept of 2009: Local pro-life advocates in southern California say that a Planned Parenthood abortion business there may have injured women on two separate occasions in botched abortions. They have photographed ambulances taking women from the abortion facility twice in the last month.

On September 16, 2009, pro-life observed and photographed an ambulance responding to a medical emergency at a Planned Parenthood abortion center at 700 Tustin Dr. in Orange, California. Ten days later, a different group of pro-life supporters observed and photographed another emergency transport by ambulance from the same abortion facility.

Nichole Williams, age 22 and the mother of three, went to Reproductive Health Services in St. Louis for a first-trimester abortion on April 25, 1997. Reproductive Health is run by Planned Parenthood of St. Louis, and the abortion was performed by Dr. Robert Crist, who is their medical director. Before the abortion was completed, Dr. Crist noticed that Nichole was having breathing difficulties. He finished the procedure and instructed staff to call for an ambulance. She was taken to Barnes-Jewish Hospital where she would die later that day. Nichole was the third woman to die after having an abortion by Dr. Crist. LINCOLN NE:

A woman was sent to a local hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska after a botched abortion at a Planned Parenthood facility. The unnamed woman suffered unknown complications from the abortion, but the problems were serious enough to transport her to a medical center and shut down Planned Parenthood’s operations. The incident occurred on Thursday morning and saw the woman loaded into an ambulance outside Planned Parenthood at about 10:45 a.m. She was transported to Bryan LGH East Medical Center, according to pro-life advocate Pam McCabe of Lincoln Right to Life, who snapped photos of the incident. McCabe indicates abortion practitioner C.J. La Benz followed the ambulance to the hospital.

In April of 2011 – pro-lifers witnessed an ambulance at a Planned Parenthood in Aurora, Ill. The account was documented as follows, “The EMTs leaped out of the ambulance and ran into the side door of the facility—a door I’d never seen used in the nearly four years I’ve been protesting and praying outside this clinic. Shortly afterward, one, two and finally three Aurora police cars sped into the lot and set up a sort of perimeter around the ambulance. A few minutes later, the EMTs came back out with a gurney and, as is their habit, Planned Parenthood’s employees’ first priority was to hold up a sheet over their victim so nobody could see what they had done to her. It never ceases to amaze me how keeping their dirty little secrets secret takes first priority over everything else, even getting this poor girl into the ambulance quicker.”

In March of 2011 a pro-lifer at a 40 Days for Life vigil snapped a few pictures of the ambulance just outside the door of a Planned Parenthood in Old Town, ILL The pro-lifer stated:
I took a picture of the fire truck and police SUV flanking the corner, and I took a picture of the ambulance with the front door in view. I put my phone away when they brought the poor woman out. … She was sitting in one of those collapsible wheelchairs ambulances carry. She had a towel over her lower body but was not fully covered (the sides of her legs were visible; she was not wearing pants), and her sitting position made me worry she might have still been mid-procedure.

Two ambulances and a fire truck arrived around mid-morning at the Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Boston, Massachusetts, on Friday, January 7, 2011, according to eye witnesses. Pro-lifers on the scene said they saw one woman wheeled out the front door on a gurney and loaded into one of the awaiting ambulances. The incident was reported by Bill Kotter of Operation Rescue Boston.

Richards also received $346,285 in total compensation from Planned Parenthood and $38,476 in total compensation from related groups in the organization’s fiscal year that ended on June 30, 2009, according to the organization’s Form 990 for that year. In a 2010 PPFA 990, Cecile Richards reported earning $319,245 from PPFA and $35,471 from related PP organizations
