Board suspends license of Florida NAF Affiliated abortionist for failing to report sexual abuse of 12 year old child
The State of Florida suspended the medical license of an abortionist for failing to report the sexual abuse of a 12 year old child, after the abuser took her to him for an abortion. Dr. Michael Benjamin, who is a member of the National Abortion federation, told state officials he said he didn’t think he needed to report abuse because he believed the girl’s story that she got pregnant from consensual sex with a classmate. According to a story in the Ft. Lauderdale Sun Sentinel (below) , the unidentified girl came to Benjamin for an abortion in November 2009 with her mother and the adult boyfriend, according to the state complaint against him, which states that he talked to the girl and mother only for only 6 to 8 minutes before the abortion. The girl’s pregnancy was not reported until months later by her regular pediatrician. Gainesville area detectives later linked the pregnancy to the mother’s boyfriend, who is now serving a 15-year sentence for sexual battery.
NOTE: Michael Benjamin is a Florida Abortionist who has worked at several locations including West Palm Beach: Presidential Women’s Center, and the Florida Women’s Clinic formerly owned by Joyce Tarnow ( Read her ideas here) and is a member of the National Abortion federation and verified on the NAF Website here.

Another NAF Abortion Clinic Transports Injured Woman Via Ambulance
Pro-lifer witnessed an ambulance rushed to the Presidential Women’s Center abortion clinic in West Palm Beach, Florida, last Saturday, April 9, 2011, to transport a woman to the hospital for emergency care.
The abortion clinic offers abortions through 23 weeks gestation and is a member of the National Abortion Federation (NAF), an affiliation of abortionists with notoriously poor health and safety records.
This was the third reported emergency transport witnessed by pro-life activists from an NAF abortion clinic over the weekend of April 8-9, 2011.
The abortionist on duty at Presidential Women’s Center during the medical emergency was Michael Benjamin, who has a history of Medical Board discipline and has a current public complaint on file, according to the Florida Department of Health. ( Read story Here )

NOW…his medical license has been suspended for failing to report the sexual abuse of a 12 year-old child :
According to this Sun-Sentinel Story:
State suspended Tamarac doctor who didn’t report pregnant 12-year-old as possible abuse
By Bob LaMendola, Sun Sentinel October 1, 2011
Florida health regulators voted on Saturday to indefinitely suspend the medical license of a Tamarac obstetrician who did not report as possible child abuse a 12-year-old girl who was six months pregnant. But he will challenge the ruling.
Dr. Michael Benjamin told state officials he believed the girl’s story that she got pregnant from consensual sex with a classmate who lived nearby. He said he didn’t think he needed to report it. Authorities later convicted the boyfriend of the girl’s mother in the pre-teen’s pregnancy.
The Florida Department of Health filed a professional disciplinary case against Benjamin, saying the law requires doctors to automatically report cases of sex involving children under 16. No criminal charges were filed against him.
The unidentified girl came to Benjamin for an abortion in November 2009 with her mother and the adult boyfriend, according to the state complaint against him. They live in the Gainesville area and found Benjamin’s name through an abortion hotline.
The girl’s mother insisted she did not know of her daughter’s condition until the girl was 24 weeks pregnant and had not taken her for prenatal care, state records show.
Benjamin told state investigators he was satisfied there was no child abuse after talking to the girl and her mother for 30 minutes. He is a father of four, a grandfather of four and takes seriously his role in detecting child abuse, he said in a letter to the medical board submitted by his lawyer.
But the state complaint says Benjamin’s notes in the case say he talked to the girl and mother only for only 6 to 8 minutes before the abortion.
The girl’s pregnancy was not reported until months later by her regular pediatrician. Gainesville area detectives later linked the pregnancy to the mother’s boyfriend, who is now serving a 15-year sentence for sexual battery.
Benjamin and state officials had proposed settling the disciplinary case by him paying an $8,000 fine, receiving a reprimand and taking remedial courses, according to records in his case.
But on Saturday, the Florida Board of Medicine, which oversees doctors, rejected the the deal. Instead, the board voted to suspend Benjamin’s license until he undergoes an assessment and comes back to the board for another review. He also would be fined $10,000 and have to perform community service as well as take courses.
Benjamin’s attorney, Michael Spicer, said the doctor will contest the ruling by taking the case to a state administrative judge, allowing him to keep practicing medicine while the case is pending.

How does Abortionist Michael Benjamin View his Abortion Patients?
In Testimony before the House Health care Committee, Full Committee Meeting September 14 and 15, 1989, Florida House of Representatives, abortionist Michael Benjamin described the average abortion patient in a derogatory way, “I think it is basically a personality type who generally has her life out of control and unfortunately nowadays there are no shortage of people in general whose lives are out of control. They drift, they tend to live for the moment in terms not only of their sexual practices but in terms of their economic lives and they are people in general who don’t think beyond the moment, who don’t plan for tomorrow, and who really will take life as it comes and deal with the rest later. …”

Ben Graber, a former Broward County Mayor and Florida State Representative is also an abortionist who in 1988 , examined a 10-year-old girl whose father brought her in pregnant.
Graber performed an abortion on the child and returned her to the father who was later accused of raping her.
Despite mandatory reporting laws in the state of Florida, Graber did not inform the state of the possibility of incest at the time of the abortion, according to news reports.
Officials were never notified of the suspicion of abuse by Graber but found out only when hospital ER physicians examined the sister of the 10-year-old that Graber aborted who was taken to the emergency room for medical care.
By the time child protective services reached the children ( ages: 12,10,8 and 7 ) news reports indicated that the father had allegedly molested most of them.
This was two-years after the father brought the pregnant 10-year-old to Graber, for the abortion.
Joanne Richter, executive director of the Broward County Sexual Assault Treatment Center stated to the press that Graber should have been aware of the possibility of sexual abuse and called authorities.
Graber never faced any charges for failing to report the sexual abuse of this child. Some believe that his connections as a Florida State House Representative at the time played a role in the decision to not prosecute.
Years later, when abortionist Benjamin Graber decided to close one of his Graber Gynecological Affiliates medical offices in Pompano Beach, Florida where he performed abortions, he sought out another doctor to sub-lease the office, because he was still under a lease contract with the owners.
Graber arranged to sublease the office to another abortionist by the name of Vladimar Rosenthal who owned the Today’s Women’s Medical Centers (abortion clinics) in South Florida.
The Miami Herald had earlier reported that several former employees of Rosenthal went to the Herald complaining that that the conditions at Rosenthal’s clinics were not good for patients. The employees showed the paper records that Rosenthal was paying them commission to sell anesthesia at the door. The state inspected Rosenthal’s abortion clinic and found several obscene pictures of unconscience women with their legs apart belonging to Rosenthal’s male nurse.
Employees said they were fired when Rosenthal was told that they had complained about the conditions at the clinic to the National Abortion Federation.
Despite the fact that the above allegations were reported in South Florida newspapers, and on record with the State Department of Professional Regulations, Graber chose Rosenthal to sublease his office. In a letter explaining to the owner of the building why Graber chose to sublease the facility to Rosenthal, Graber described Rosenthal as, “an excellent tenant who has been successfully in practice for a number of years.”
