Sterilize wealthy women who take pain pills instead of poor drug addicts?

Posted in Eugenics, Sterilization with tags , , , , , , , on April 28, 2010 by saynsumthn

I thought this commentary made a great point: “Project Prevention targets illegal drug users, mainly those from inner cities or from the bottom of the socio-economic ladder. Why not also try to sterilize wealthy suburban women who take too many pain pills from the medicine cabinet or cocaine-addicted men with MBAs on Wall Street?”

In other words- the push for sterilization is a drive to eliminate the poor and barely educated ! Wait – who said that? Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood?

Dirty Drive To Sterilize
By William Moyers
Published: April 24, 2010

At the airport the other day, my eye caught a headline at the bottom of a television screen that made me stop in my tracks: “Drug Addicts to Be Sterilized.”

At first, I thought perhaps it was a movie about Nazi doctors gone wild or a skit on Comedy Central spoofing the tea party. But this was CNN, where real news is supposed to reign. In the din of a busy passenger terminal, I could not hear the blabber of the three talking heads, who clearly were on different sides of a vociferous debate. So later, I got the details online.

Project Prevention is a North Carolina-based organization that doles out $300 to each drug addict who agrees to get sterilized. The charity’s mission is to prevent addicts from giving birth to babies they can’t care for and reduce the number of infants exposed to drugs.

“If you don’t think an addict is capable of making a decision, then I guess you’d agree they aren’t capable of raising a child they’ll conceive, either,” says Barbara Harris, the founder of Project Prevention.

Ironically, many of the addicts who do opt for sterilization don’t get clean and instead use the cash to keep getting high. So though the effort probably has made a dent in the impact drugs have on newborns, it has failed to shield children or the community at large from the ravages of active addiction. That is hardly “prevention.”

But to me, there is something more fundamentally flawed here. Consider this:

Replace the term “drug addiction” with “diabetes” or “heart disease.” What if this effort were focused on tying the tubes of diabetic women who refuse to take their insulin? Or snipping the vasa deferentia of men with heart disease who just can’t seem to get with the program of exercise and healthy eating? Would we tolerate such a debate, much less permit a program that targeted vulnerable adults tempted by a few hundred bucks who are probably not in the right frame of mind, body or spirit to make such life-altering decisions as eliminating their ability to create life? Of course not.

And one more point, seeing as I sense I’m on a roll here. Project Prevention targets illegal drug users, mainly those from inner cities or from the bottom of the socio-economic ladder. Why not also try to sterilize wealthy suburban women who take too many pain pills from the medicine cabinet or cocaine-addicted men with MBAs on Wall Street? Heck, they wouldn’t even need the financial incentive.

In this space each week, I pontificate or offer advice to readers about addiction, treatment and recovery topics. All of these issues are grounded in the stigma of addiction. Shame fosters stigma, and stigma promotes shame, a vicious two-cycle engine propelled further by public intolerance and the misguided efforts of organizations like Project Prevention.
Stigma is one problem all of us should strive to sterilize.

Doctors Sterilize Women By Stealth in Uzbekistan to check poor populations

Posted in Forced Sterilization, Population Control, Socialism, Soviet Union, Sterilization with tags , , , , , , , , on April 28, 2010 by saynsumthn

According to human rights groups, tens of thousands of young women like Zavidova have been sterilised without their consent in the authoritarian former Soviet state of Uzbekistan.

When her baby died soon after delivery, Gulbahor Zavidova, 28, a poor farmer’s wife, longed to be pregnant again. After months of trying she and her husband visited a doctor who told her she could never have another child because she had been sterilised.

The procedure had been performed immediately after she gave birth, by doctors who did not ask her consent. On learning she could not bear children, her husband left her.

“Not a day passes without me crying,” she said. “I was outraged when I found out what they had done. How could they do such a horrible thing without asking me?”

Uzbek sources say the measure was ordered by Islam Karimov, the president, who has ruled with an iron fist for 20 years. The policy is aimed at keeping down the country’s poor population — with 28m people, it is Central Asia’s most densely populated state.

Activists say mass sterilisation began in 2003, but was eased after two years following an outcry. It is said to have restarted in February this year, when the health ministry ordered doctors to recommend sterilisation as an “effective contraceptive”. Critics claim every doctor was told to persuade “at least two women” a month to have the procedure. Doctors who failed faced reprisals and fines.

“We estimate that since February, about 5,000 women have been sterilised without consent,” said a local human rights campaigner who fears detention if she is named.

In many cases, doctors opt for delivery by caesarean section and then perform a sterilisation without telling the woman. Widespread rumours of the practice have resulted in women opting for home births to avoid the risk.

Doctors visited Hidojat Muminova, a 26-year-old cotton picker, at home several months ago. They told the mother of two she should visit a local hospital for a check-up, at which she was diagnosed with a potentially fatal cyst in her fallopian tubes.

“They scared me into believing I needed an urgent operation,” she said. “I was surprised as I’d never had any pain but I was worried and agreed to the surgery. When it was over they told me they’d performed a sterilisation. I could not stop crying. They tricked me and treated me like an animal.”

Another victim, Mahmuda Usupova, 30, said doctors had sterilised her after she gave birth to her third child by caesarean several months ago. She learnt she could no longer have children during a visit to her gynaecologist.

Uzbek authorities deny that sterilisations are carried out without consent, but a report by the United Nations Committee Against Torture reported a “large number” of cases three years ago. According to the UN, Uzbekistan’s fertility rate has fallen from 4.4 babies per woman to 2.5 since Karimov came to power.

Under the 72-year-old Karimov, Uzbekistan has become highly repressive. Opponents have been jailed, tortured and killed. Two critics of the regime, who were accused of being Islamic militants, were scalded to death after boiling water was poured over them.

Hundreds of civilians died when the police and army fired indiscriminately into a large crowd of protesters in Andijan in 2005. The Sunday Times has been denied entry to Uzbekistan ever since because its coverage is considered “unfriendly”.

The sterilization program has been relaunched despite efforts by Karimov’s two daughters to improve the lives of Uzbek women and children. Lola, 31, the president’s younger daughter, is a Unesco ambassador and head of a children’s charity.

Her sister Gulnara, 38, who was recently appointed ambassador to Spain, supports a number of charities. Known as “the princess of Uzbeks”, she is a Harvard graduate, martial arts expert and jewellery designer.

Under the name GooGoosha — apparently her father’s pet name for her — she has released pop videos. Her parties in Moscow, where she lived until recently, attracted members of the elite.

The women’s health days advertised on her website provide free access to medical specialists from Israel for women suffering “diseases related to reproductive functions”.

The Uzbek embassy in Moscow insisted that all sterilisations were carried out at the patient’s request and after the woman’s husband had been told of the consequences.

UN Still Blanketing Ravaged Haiti with Condoms

Posted in African Nations, Haiti, Population Control with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on April 28, 2010 by saynsumthn

By James Tillman and Kathleen Gilbert

PORT-AU-PRINCE, April 27, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A document obtained by LifeSiteNews.com that carries the logos of the UNFPA, the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and UNAIDS, calls on the camp managers in earthquake ravaged Haiti to be careful to ensure a supply of free condoms to the Haitians whose homes were destroyed by the January Earthquake.

One of the access points that the document directs displacement site managers to is “the PROMESS warehouse in Port au Prince.” LifeSiteNews.com (LSN) had reported shortly after the earthquake that, according to an inside source in Haiti, an enormous supply of condoms was taking up as much as 70% of the floor space in that warehouse and was preventing medical supplies from being unloaded, sorted, and distributed.

“All humanitarian actors should ensure that condoms are available to the affected populations,” state the recent instructions, which were attached in email sent to Haiti’s Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) Cluster dated April 23.

The instructions go on to calculate the needed number of condoms: the population is multiplied by the percentage of sexually active males (20% of population) who are expected to use condoms (26% of sexually active males) at a presumed rate of 20 times per month, with additional condoms accounted for wastage and loss.

UNFPA and UNAIDS, the document indicates, will also expend resources to organize training for all camp managers and community leaders “on correct and consistent usage and disposal of condoms,” as well as HIV awareness. “Condoms should be distributed with information and education and managers should liaise with community members on appropriate distribution points and methods,” the note continues. “Information leaflets and posters about condom use will also be provided.”

The document says that it is is applying “Sphere standards,” which are meant to help define “minimum standards in disaster response.” While ostensibly based on the belief that “those affected by disaster have a right to life with dignity and therefore a right to assistance,” the Sphere Handbook call for the “subsequent integration of comprehensive RH [reproductive health] services into primary health care” after a disaster. “Comprehensive reproductive health services” is a common euphemism that includes contraception and abortion.

The language of the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) guidelines, which are also mentioned in the document, is similar. The IASC calls on agencies to distribute “male condoms and, where appropriate, female condoms free of charge in a wide range of places – clinics and health centres, bars, brothels, community centres and other settings where people, including young people, meet socially.” “Male and female condoms are essential items in emergency relief supplies,” according to IASC.

The UNFPA did not respond to LSN’s request to confirm the source of the document as of press time.

“This is what the UNFPA always does,” Stephen Mosher, president of the Population Research Institute (PRI), told LifeSiteNews.com Tuesday afternoon, in reference to the condom distribution scheme.

Mosher pointed to a PRI investigation of Kosovo refugee camps during the Kosovo Conflict, which found the UNFPA’s population control priorities in full force. “The UNFPA Doctor there was more than happy to tell us that he was aborting as many babies conceived in the refugee camps as he could,” said Mosher, “because, after all, as he said, ‘they’re refugees’ – emphatically, ‘they can’t have babies.'”

If the UNFPA was genuinely concerned about stemming the tide of HIV/AIDS, he said, they would focus efforts on HIV testing, rather than promoting sexual licentiousness with faulty protection.

“The UNFPA sees all conceptions in war-torn or refugee-strewn or earthquake-affected countries as illegitimate. … These people are dependents, and they shouldn’t have children at all,” he said.

From my previous posts:

According to a Jan 16, 2010 Ft Lauderdale Sun Sentinel Article, Former abortion clinic owner and population control pusher, Joyce Tarnow ( who now runs an anti-immigration organization) had this to say regarding bringing suffering people from Haiti who endured the tragic earthquake, to the United States,

Tent cities in Haiti,” said Joyce Tarnow, who now heads Floridians for Sustainable Population, an anti-immigration group. “Give them all the help they need, but don’t bring them to this country.”

The Sun Sentinel further describes Ms. Tarnow, as someone who – who moved to North Florida from Pompano Beach because of overcrowding, is opposed to any temporary relief measures.

We have to enforce our borders,” she said. “There’s nothing more permanent than a temporary visa.”
In the film Maafa21 Black Genocide in 21st Century America, Florida Abortion Clinic owner, Joyce Tarnow makes some stunning comments on population control. Among those statements are disturbing comments regarding Haiti, which she made to a local Florida newspaper.

In a July 15,2004 News Times article , they quote former abortionist Joyce Tarnow as saying:

America “can’t take all the people in the world,” “We need to help nations that can subsist and let others wither on the vine.”

And how about this sensitive approach to countries like Haiti, which, she says, “has denuded the whole land“? “Stew in your own juices,“.

This is the way these pro-abortion people feel about people of “color” in my view. Just like recent comments by Harry Reid, it is time African Americans and minorities wake up and see how these supposed liberal progressives view them.

In the interview below of Tarnow from Maafa21, she quotes population control author, Paul Ehrlich who co-authored books with Obama’s Science Czar, John P. Holdren. Tarnow clearly advocates Darwin’s “Survival of the fittest” and says that the US should not help those nations who “cannot help themselves.”

Watch Tarnow Interview at .20 seconds into this:

Is abortion clinic owner, Joyce Tarnow’s wish coming true after the Haiti Earthquake?

In the same News Times article Joyce Tarnow reveals her true motives:

Fertility is an environmental issue,” she says. “That’s why I try to get as many people sterilized as are in my way!”

Tarnow, is the former owner of the Women’s Clinic in Fort Lauderdale, Florida: which performed approx 800 to 900 abortions per year, with many clients being low income of Haiitian. Tarnow was a proud member of the National Abortion Federation.

Tarnow works tirelessly to make sure that the ones she didn’t get through abortion are NEVER allowed into this country through immigration. She is president of the anti-immigration group: Floridians for a Sustainable Population.

She is also listed on the anti-immigration group FAIR as one of their “local contacts” . FAIR stands for the Federation for American Immigration Reform and they are run by former “Zero Population Growth” and “Planned Parenthood” members.

A group which opposes Tarnow states that, “To pursue this agenda, Ms. Tarnow founded and leads the fringe population control group called Floridians for a Sustainable Population. A close reading of the group’s Web site reveals more of their agenda: they call for limiting families to two children; cutting benefits for newborns; higher taxes on families; severe restrictions on legal immigration; and more. “

Located in Topix the title is

Your ugly black babies make us VOMIT!
Posted in the African-American Forum

Perhaps now you will see why there is an attempt to limit black births through abortion just like the film: Maafa21 Black Genocide in 21st Century America documents ( Clips Below of the film)

On 4/28/2010 the thread contained 541 Comments , I will only post a few.

We know the money they will cost in welfare and prison. We don’t want them. Please have more abortions!

They are bred to be slaves; nothing more, nothing less.
I generally disapprove of abortion, but I approve of black abortion.

If they didn’t have slavery, they’d have no history at all.
And their chimplets are the worst harbinger of trouble to come extant.

Black babies are “cute” in Africa maybe, but here in America, they are as ugly as a malignant tumor. Can you process that metaphor…? Thursday Apr 22

Nasty, nappy, ugly, stinky, noisy, dumb, useless little chimps.

Quit hating you know our black babies are absolutely beautiful.

Response:
Bu||sh|t! Negro cubs aren’t even “babies”. They are future criminals and societal parasites. Humans can’t tell the difference between a baby ape and a n|glet. That’s a fact!

We know the money they will cost in welfare and prison. We don’t want them. Please have more abortions!

aaaawwww…..they’re hairless lill baby gorillas……white women think they’re cute, but they grow up to rape white woman!!!
