– First lady Michelle Obama was in town Thursday afternoon at a private lunch reception in a Sarasota home to promote President Barack Obama’s campaign and speak about his accomplishments and what is yet to come.
Her visit to the fundraising reception at Caren Lobo’s house in the 3100 block of Bay Shore Road was among the stops she made in Florida following campaign visits from Republican primary candidates. She was also in Tampa and Palm Beach on Thursday.
During her speech, Obama mentioned several of the president’s accomplishments while in office, including the end of the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy …

Before Obama spoke to the crowd, guests were able to take photographs and chat with her. Among the guests was Barbara A. Zdravecky, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida.

Planned Parenthood founder, Margaret Sanger, was a member in good standing with the racist American Eugenics Society. Sanger had board members who were known for their racist writing and Sanger published many of those in her publications. Sanger called for parents to have a QUOTE: LICENSE TO BREED controlled by people who believed in her eugenic philosophy. She wanted all would be parents to go before her eugenic boards to request a “PERMIT TO BREED“.

Sanger states, “Before eugenists and others who are laboring for racial betterment can succeed, they must first clear the way for Birth Control. Like the advocates of Birth Control, the eugenists, for instance, are seeking to assist the race toward the elimination of the unfit. Both are seeking a single end but they lay emphasis upon different methods.

We who advocate Birth Control, on the other hand, lay all our emphasis upon stopping not only the reproduction of the unfit but upon stopping all reproduction when there is not economic means of providing proper care for those who are born in health. …While I personally believe in the sterilization of the feeble-minded, the insane and syphilitic, I have not been able to discover that these measures are more than superficial deterrents when applied to the constantly growing stream of the unfit… Eugenics without Birth Control seems to us a house builded upon the sands. It is at the mercy of the rising stream of the unfit…“

Sanger also called for those who were poor and what she considered to be “morons and immoral‘ , to be shipped to colonies where they would live in “Farms and Open Spaces” dedicated to brainwashing these so-called “inferior types” into having what Sanger called, “Better moral conduct”.

“ I consider that the world and almost our civilization for the next twenty-five years, is going to depend upon a simple, cheap, safe contraceptive to be used in poverty stricken slums, jungles, and among the most ignorant people. Even this will not be sufficient, because I believe that now, immediately, there should be national sterilization for certain dysgenic types of our population who are being encouraged to breed and would die out were the government not feeding them.”

In addition, Planned Parenthood’s top award is called the Margaret Sanger Award, despite the fact that Sanger was an admitted Klan speaker. This is what Sanger wrote in her autobiography, “I accepted an invitation to talk to the women’s branch of the Ku Klux Klan…I saw through the door dim figures parading with banners and illuminated crosses…I was escorted to the platform, was introduced, and began to speak…In the end, through simple illustrations I believed I had accomplished my purpose. Thursday marked the third day of testimony in the case against 20-year-old Edward Jermaine Babbs.

Babbs is charged in the shooting death of 17-year-old Stephanie Rabsatt and her unborn son.

In October 2009, Rabsatt, who was 8 months pregnant, was shot in the head outside a Miramar Winn-Dixie.

Investigators said the killer also shot Rabsatt in the stomach, severing the umbilical cord.

Babbs was believed to be the father of the unborn child.

Prosecutors claim he killed Rabsatt because she refused to have an abortion.

Abortion Giant Planned Parenthood Federation of America, has purchased its New York City headquarters — a commercial condo unit at 424 West 33rd Street — for $34.8 million, according to public records filed with the city.

The healthcare organization, which reportedly signed a 20-year lease for 104,000 square feet at he 200,000-square-foot industrial-turned-office style building in 2002 for rents in the mid-$30s per square foot, bought the commercial condo from Vectra Management Group, a real estate management firm based in New York, which has owned the entire building since 2000.

Planned Parenthood had been in negotiations with Vectra to buy the building since it first moved in, in accordance with a provision in its lease that gave it the option to purchase, according to legal documents filed with the New York Supreme Court in 2010. The two parties had originally agreed to draft a sale contract shortly after the lease was signed, but their inability to come to an agreement on the terms of the deal led to seven years of negotiations, followed by legal proceedings, the legal documents said.
It was not immediately clear what the outcome of those proceedings had dictated.

It appears that in addition to the millions Planned Parenthood receives from the federal government- New York also granted them $15,0000 for renovations to the building.

The New York City Industrial Development states, Approximately $15,000,000 civic facility revenue bond transaction for the benefit of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Inc., a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt organization that provides services to, and coordinates the activities nationally of, its member affiliates in the areas of reproductive and complementary health care and education services and promotion of research and advancement of technology in reproductive health care. The proceeds of the bonds will be used to finance or refinance the renovation, equipping and furnishing of leasehold improvements constituting approximately 104,000 square feet of space in an approximately 192,000 square foot building located upon an approximately 13,045 square foot parcel of land located at 424-438 West 33rd Street, New York, New York, Block 729, Lot 163, to be used in whole, or in part, by Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Inc., Planned Parenthood Action Fund, Inc., The Planned Parenthood Foundation, Inc., and Affiliates Risk Management Services, Inc., and which may be used in part by The Alan Guttmacher Institute and/or Sex Information and Education Council of the United States, and which is to be managed in part by 424 West 33rd Street Associates, L.P. The financial assistance proposed to be conferred by the Agency will consist of such bond financing and exemption fro. City and State mortgage recording taxes.

Planned Parenthood received $349.6 million in tax dollars in the fiscal year ending on June 30, 2008, and $363.2 MILLION Dollars on Government Grants ( Tax Dollars) in 2009- that is ONE MILLION DOLLARS PER DAY of taxpayer money !!!
Planned Parenthood then took those hard earned dollars away from poor and middle class hard working people and and it paid its president, Cecile Richards, $385,163, plus another $11,876 in benefits and deferred compensation. ( View 2008 990 here )

The $385,163 in pay Planned Parenthood President Richards received in the organization’s fiscal year ending June 30, 2008 was recorded in the group’s publicly available Internal Revenue Service Form 990 filed for that year.

Richards also received $346,285 in total compensation from Planned Parenthood and $38,476 in total compensation from related groups in the organization’s fiscal year that ended on June 30, 2009, according to the organization’s Form 990 for that year.

Other Officers at the National Level received the following compensation:

CFO, MARIA ACOSTA received $89,691 from Planned Parenthood $5,725 from related organizations and $2,362 in estimated compensations

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER MARYANA ISKANDER received $245,814 from Planned Parenthood and $23,696 in estimated compensations

VICE PRESIDENT OF DEVELOPMENT KIM MEREDITH received $220,427 from Planned Parenthood $24,492 from related organizations and $24,076 in estimated compensations. Before joining PPFA in 2006, Meredith spent nearly nine years as the chief operating officer at the now defunct and now disaffiliated Planned Parenthood Golden Gate, a Planned Parenthood clinic which sqandered tax dollars and will close and never repay their debtors .

NATIONAL POLITIC AND FIELD DIR, ELLEN GOLOMBEK received $203,843 from Planned Parenthood $10,729 from related organizations and $15,288 in estimated compensations, she has since left Planned Parenthood to work in the Colorado Governor’s Administration.

VP OF MEDICAL AFFAIR, VANESSA CULLINS received $248,251 from Planned Parenthood and $15,600 in estimated compensations
VP OF GENERAL COUNSEL , BARBARA E OTTEN received $219,210 from Planned Parenthood $11,537 from related organizations and $39,074 in estimated compensations

These figures do not account for each Planned Parenthood director – there are over 800 locations, making triple digits in many cases as welll….

Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s Web site shows that it performed 332,278 abortions in 2009, up 8,270 from 2008. Why should the taxpayer be forced to fund abortion?

Planned Parenthood also PROFITED $64 million dollars in that same year ! Why do they need you and I to fund them?

But, Planned Parenthood’s profits are politicians gains. Just look at this analysis from Open Secrets which monitors 501C3 organizations and how they distribute and collect their funding:

The organization’s political action committee, for example, donated more than $148,000 to federal candidates — almost all Democrats -- during the 2010 election cycle. The PAC spent more than $443,000 overall.

Planned Parenthood also recorded $905,796 in independent expenditures during the 2010 cycle – money spent in support of, or in opposition to, federal political candidates, largely through advertisements. The top beneficiaries of this money were Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) and Patty Murray (D-Wash.).

In 2010 alone, Planned Parenthood and a California affiliate together spent more than $700,000 on federal lobbying efforts, a Center for Responsive Politics analysis of federal lobbying records finds. By comparison, all other organizations that primarily advocate for abortion rights collectively spent $247,280 on federal lobbying efforts during the same period.

So, not only does taxpayer money make Planned Parenthood officials RICH FAT CATS, they also expand the coffers of the politicians who support them- see how the cycle works?
Planned Parenthood also PROFITED $64 million dollars in that same year ! Why do they need you and I to fund them?

While Planned Parenthood touts itself as an organization dedicated to women’s reproductive health, more than one-third of the executives surveyed in the new report (36%) are men and only 12 percent of them have any health background while 11 percent have some sort of political background.

The report also surveyed the salaries of the top employees of the abortion business, which maintains its headquarters in new York City. The report shows Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards and her chief lieutenants are paid well.

Learn Planned Parenthood’s Eugenics Agenda- watch the documentary Maafa21

January in Washington, D.C., hundreds of thousands Marched around the Capital and Supreme Court building to protest abortion. If any media outlets decide to cover the event, most articles will discuss the political and religious debates surrounding abortion and few, if any, will discuss the money, profit and political lobbying involved with the abortion industry.

Planned Parenthood, with its 820 clinics is the largest provider of abortion in the world. To put it in a business perspective, Planned Parenthood operates 228 more clinics then Costco has warehouse stores and since it takes in over a $1 billion a year, Planned Parenthood is on a revenue level thats about equal to Domino’s Pizza.

The organization has contributed $262,986 to the campaigns of Democrats in the House and Senate compared to $2,000 toward the campaigns of Republicans in both houses in 2010.The Center for Responsive Politics reports, “In 2010, Planned Parenthood and a California affiliate together spent more than $700,000 on federal lobbying efforts,..” “By comparison, all other organizations that primarily advocate for abortion rights collectively spent $247,280 on federal lobbying efforts during the same period, according to the Center’s research.” In 2011, spending on lobbying effort to promote the abortion industry increased to $1,230,041.

All this money is not wasted, but comes back to Planned Parenthood fivefold. A 2009-2010 report from Planned Parenthood shows the organization received 46% of its $1 billion dollar a year budget from government grants and reimbursement for services. This government subsidy is in addition to the tax free status the abortion provider enjoys despite showing $18.5 million in excess revenue in the same2009-2010 financial report. Imagine that this one organization receives $487,000,000 in government subsidies compared to$370,000,000 annually received by the entire solar and wind industry, which according to President Obama is a technology that will lead the world and is his personal initiative that he compares to the space program.

Without government money, this profit making, “non-profit” would go out of business, which is what occurred when Governor Christie held back government funds from Planned Parenthood clinics in New Jersey. Planned Parenthood like Amtrak just can’t exist if it had to rely on making a profit from the services it promotes. However, money pours in from congress to both Amtrak and Planned Parenthood, because both convince lawmakers that if they failed to exist the poor and needy would suffer. In the case of Planned Parenthood most lawmakers overlook the fact that they already fund 7000 medical clinics that provide the same services to needy women as Planned Parenthood, excluding the main profit maker of the organization which is abortion services.

President Obama, the biggest advocate of Planned Parenthood and many Democrats on Capital Hill have been critical of corporate executives who earn salaries of $250,000 or more. Yet, a 990 form filed by Planned Parenthood in 2008, reported their President Cecile Richards, received over $384,761 in compensation which is about a 53% pay increase from a previously filed 990 form. Again, another area overlooked that shows a clear double standard from Democrats who are the biggest benifactor of Planned Parenthood money. However, it get’s even better.

MF Global CEO, John Corzine, was brought before a Congressional hearing when it was discovered his company lost $1.2 billion of its customer money and yet no outcry or formal investigation has taken place since the Government Accounting Office discovered Planned Parenthood cannot account for $1.3 billion in government funds it received from 2003 to 2008. Now, under health care reform and a greater role of Government controlling health care delivery and funding, the role, funding and revenue of Planned Parenthood is expected to increase dramatically.
