Abortionist’s secret habits/ What the media fails to report

Much in the news is attempting to paint pro-lifers in a bad light. When any act of violence occurs against an abortionist or clinic, the drum beat will go on and on naming each and every rare incident over and over again. But, when an abortionist kills a patient, or rapes her, or is arrested on drug charges , or is convicted of murder and assault – little is said and it is treated as “isolated”. They do not mention these stories over and over again.

If you want to learn the truth the media will not repeat – Here a just a few Samples :

Abortionist beats wife

In 1999, Abortionist Neville W. Duncan was placed on 18 months’ probation, sentenced to 30 days in jail and fined $250 after pleading no contest to charges that he beat his wife. He was also arrested when police found crack cocaine in his pocket.

Duncan was arrested after allegedly punching his wife in his car, then pinning her to the ground and slapping her after she climbed out the window of the vehicle, according to Milwaukee Journal Sentinel article, (Doctor sentenced to 30 days in jail -01-15-1999).

News reports indicated that Duncan served time for contempt of court, when he failed to provide the required child support he owed.

Abortionist guilty of murdering wife

December 11, 2001, The Oklahoman detailed the murder trial of abortionist John Baxter Hamilton. Hamilton performed abortions at the Oklahoma Clinic for Women in Oklahoma City, OK.

Hamilton was found guilty in the Valentine’s Day killing of his wife, Susan Hamilton, 55. Her nude body was found lying in blood in the master bathroom of the Hamiltons’ Quail Creek home, her skull fractured and face disfigured. She had been choked with a necktie and beaten to death.

News Reports of the case indicated that Hamilton’s wife had suspected the abortionist of having an affair with a topless dancer who may have been a patient of the doctor’s. His wife was considering leaving him and talking of divorce two days before the murder.

Authorities noted that after Hamilton murdered his wife he then called 911 to report the death. Authorities found the woman dead on the couple’s master bedroom floor.

He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole in the murder of his wife and was ordered to pay $11,104 for the cost of his incarceration. Following his murder conviction, Oklahoma and Tennessee revoked his medical license and on September 19, 2003, Hamilton voluntarily surrendered his Georgia license.

Abortion doctor accused of killing wife

On December 15,2006, the Hattiesburg American reported in an article, (Doctor pleads not guilty to killing his wife ), that abortionist Malachy DeHenre was arrested after a new indictment accused him of shooting his wife, Dr. Nyasha DeHenre, in the head in their Laurel home in 1997. At his first trial in 1999, the jury voted 11-1 to acquit him, resulting in a hung jury.

According to a WDAM News 7 news report, (Doctor to face 2nd trial for wife’s slaying: 12-18-2006), DeHenre is also being charged with the rape of a then 21-year-old patient when he was practicing at the Family Health Care Center in 1992.

DeHenre has a long history of trouble in his performance of abortions and treatment of women. He performed abortions in Alabama before he lost his license to practice in that state, according to a Washington Post story , (Alabama Abortion Clinic to Stay Shut: 6-15-2006).

The Post reported that DeHenre formerly worked for the Summit abortion clinic in Alabama which, was closed in 2006 after state inspectors found them dispensing RU-486 without a doctor present. The article says that in December of 2004, the Medical Licensure Commission of Alabama indefinitely suspended the license of Malachy M. DeHenre. The commission ruled that DeHenre’s conduct in four cases from 2000 to 2003 was “immoral, unprofessional or dishonorable” and that he endangered his patients through “gross malpractice.”
In March of 2005, DeHenre’s license was indefinitely suspended by the Mississippi Medical Board. It had been temporarily suspended in 2004 after one of DeHenre’s Alabama abortion patients died. A 2004, Clarion Ledger report entitled, Abortion death cited in action against doctor Ala. suspends license of Jackson abortion practitioner, reveals that the Alabama State Board of Medical Examiners found that the patient was discharged from Summit Medical Center 20 minutes after having an abortion on Nov. 25, 2003. Less than six hours later, her husband contacted the medical center and reported that his wife had abdominal pain and a low temperature.

She was taken by ambulance to a Birmingham hospital, where she died. She sustained an unrecognized uterine perforation during the abortion, the board said. “Subsequent hemorrhagic shock led to her ultimate demise,” according to the board’s report to the licensure commission.

According to the Clarion Ledger, (Suspended doc: Didn’t like doing 35,000 abortions: 3-18-2005), after his suspension in Mississippi, DeHenre said that he did not like performing some 35,000 abortions, but did so because he needed the work. “I ask for your forgiveness,” Dehenre said. “I don’t want to be an outcast. I want to be among the medical community.” The Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure told the press that they received “more than one complaint, ” in the case.

After DeHenre’s 2006 arrest he was denied his bond request and will be held in the Jones County Adult Detention Facility in Ellisville until his trial, which will likely be held in the spring of 2007.

George Tiller Media Craze

Ever since the shooting of the notorious abortionist George Tiller last Sunday, the media has been going crazy with accusations of blame against all pro-life people. Saying that the “Rhetoric” and calling abortion “murder of babies in the womb” , created the “climate for violence” is ridiculous. But, Okay, if they want to play this game…how come the media refuses to show America what Dr. Tiller did?

Let’s put this whole incident to rest and for that matter let’s put the entire abortion question to rest and finally show on national TV the images of aborted babies. Let the people decide for themselves.

Why should we continue to engage a media who refuses to show the truth of abortion?

Even Fox News is taking attacks by the left because O’Reilly called the late-term abortionist – “Tiller the Killer” – Come on Bill, STOP THE SPIN and show the pictures. Where is your courage and conviction to truth???

Whale Wars and Liberal Hypocrisy

I have recently watched Animal Planet’s program: Whale Wars , and was surprised that there has been no reaction to the show by all these so-called “non-violent” liberals among us.

The show is filmed on board the Sea Shepard, led by a Captain Paul Watson who was an early member of Greenpeace. Watson admitted on one show that he believed that Greenpeace only raised money to “save whales” but he intended to actually stop the killing. The Sea Shepherd travels the ocean waters looking for Japanese Whaling Fleets , and once located they attack the fleets often with stink bombs and other devises meant to, “shut the killing factories down.” According to Greenpeace, a 2008 article in the New Yorker reported that Watson claimed that the Sea Shepherd had sunk ten ships since its founding.

So, we have environmentalists actually filming their acts of Vandalism to Property and possibly people, then broadcasting their “deeds” weekly on Cable and Satellite TV. To my knowledge, the show has not been criticized by those who claim that calling something “murder” can lead to the violence of those who actually do the “murder”. Meanwhile, in the wake of the shooting of abortionist, George Tiller, the news media is doing flip flops attempting to label all “non-Violent Speech” by pro-lifers as “Inciting murder and Violence“.

I am confused here? Does the liberal left believe in non-violence or not? Why do they attack free speech on the right but are silent at best and even condone the acts of violence and terrorism on the left? Is saving whales more important than saving human life?

I believe in free speech and the constitutional right to protest and speak out…but if these screaming pro-abortion – whale loving radicals have their way, they will silence pro-life people and in the process hurt their own precious causes as well. Perhaps the most dangerous speech, is not that which truthfully calls abortion the taking of a human life, but speech which, instead, silences opposition and by doing so, places freedom for all at risk .

Good for the Goose? New Law Discriminates Against Pro-Lifers

A New York City law that will go into effect in July could make it easier for pro-life protesters to be arrested outside abortion clinics. Current law allows authorities to make arrests only if the person directly affected, such as a woman entering a clinic, is willing to press charges. However, the new law would allow third parties, such as clinic workers, to press charges if they witnessed the activity.

This is a very dangerous and ridiculous law. It leaves the decision in the hands of the very business making a profit off the abortions. What do you think they will do with all that power?

I wonder if the State of New York would also allow pro-lifers who witness women suffering from post abortion injuries to “press charges” against clinics? Suppose the New York State Medical Board allowed “third parties” to file complaints and never interviewed the person injured.

Perhaps the State of New York could save money by allowing all those who “Witness” a speeding car on the highway to issue a ticket to the offender.

The entire premise of this law is absurd and is meant to discriminate against the free speech rights of pro-lifers. I only hope and pray that if a false accusation occurs, those other pro-lifers who witness the accusation by the pro-abort will file charges as well.

I guess if we can dismantle the rights of all human beings to “Life” as granted in our Constitution, we can also chop out the right a person has to “face his accuser”. Just goes to show you the unlevel playing ground the pro-abortion mindset has.

Third Trimester Abortion Truths

It is time America faces the truth about late term abortions. They are legal and are being performed for “any reason” in all stages of pregnancy.

In 1997, Pro-choice spokesperson, Ron Fitzsimmons of the National Coalition of Abortion Providers (NCAP) Told Nightline this about the number of late term abortions being done, “The majority of these procedures are performed in the late second trimester on healthy women and healthy fetuses. That’s — the law allows that. Women come in at that point unfortunately, for whatever reason, seeking abortion services. We estimate that approximately 3,000 to 5,000 are performed in the United States on an annual basis.” ( NCAP is an organization of abortionists).

The Bergen (NJ) Record interviewed an abortion clinic employee in 1996 who admitted that “Most (late-term abortions) are for elective, not medical, reasons: people who didn’t realize, or didn’t care, how far along they were.” (This person was employed by a New Jersey clinic that performs at least 1,500 partial-birth).

In 1990, The LA Times asked, Anne Walshe who is an abortion clinic administrator in Manhattan, her view on late term abortions and she replied, “What’s the difference? Abortion is abortion. The nice folks who are debating this, who want to draw the line and put a limit on gestational age, will just be putting a restriction on poor women. Women who want abortions get them…These women know they are pregnant, but not until the 16th or 17th week, when the fetus is kicking and bothering them, do they say, ‘Oh, I have to deal with this,’ ” she says. “It’s not that these women are bad, or they’re wrong. They’re just poor. They don’t lead organized, routine lives.” Walsh’s clinic does as many as 16,000 abortions a year. At least half are performed during the second trimester.

And to respond to the lie that few abortionists do late term abortions, listen to late-term abortionist, Warren Hern’s response to the New York Times in 2000: (Responding to the competitive business of late term abortion). “The startling thing to me was that a very large room was filled — packed. Twenty years ago, there were just two or three doctors in the country doing late abortions.

Pro-Abortion Hypocrisy

Liberal Open-Minded and “Tolerant” Pro-aborts attack pro-lifers who protest abortion by picketing or even blocking entrance to abortion clinics, calling their right to protest and speak “incitement”. In their typical biased way, they fail to remember that many of those who did abortions before Roe, were doctors who did them illegally and lay people who illegally referred and had “underground railroads” of sort to challenge state laws.

The icon of the pro-choice movement, Margaret Sanger herself was arrested in her effort to challenge state laws on dispensing contraception. She is the founder of the nation’s top abortion provider: Planned Parenthood and to this day they esteem her as a hero.

It is interesting that when those same measures (like were used with the Civil Rights Movement, Woman’s movement, pro-abortion movement, and even the homosexual rights movement) are used by pro-life people, that so-called liberal, open-minded, “get your laws off my body” pro-choicers scream to have the heavy hand of Gov’t used against them.

This does not surprise me given the fact that Margaret Sanger and her pro-abortion/eugenic lot were some of the loudest promoters of “control” of recent day. Sanger and her Eugenic Board and Eugenic and racist Friends wanted to have final say over who could or could not bear children. She and her Planned Parenthood friends were among some of the most closed minded- control freaks I have ever heard. Members of the Sanger band of followers formed Eugenic boards and dictated who would be forcefully sterilized, who could marry whom, and toyed with the idea of placing birth control agents in rural water supplies to limit the reproduction of those they deemed “unfit” and “Feeble minded.”

Sanger herself called for paupers and the poor to be “segregated on farms and open spaces” and put forth an idea that would allow the general public to only be able to have one child unless they appealed to a board of her racist and eugenic friends. Sanger spoke to at least one Klan Rally and many of her friends corresponded and even supported the Nazis.

If rhetoric, words, and associations are the parameters of a person or group, someone should look closely at the pro-abortion gang. Margaret Sanger’s organization, Planned Parenthood, has a definite connection with racists who wanted to control Jews, Asians, and Blacks (to name a few). Planned Parenthood’s founder and many of it’s board members were members of the American Eugenic Society.

So, while you examine the so-called loose connections that Operation Rescue has to extremists, ask yourself why the media fails to list the names of the Eugenic Connections, associations, and writings of Margaret Sanger the founder of Planned Parenthood to the Klan and eugenics and why, with those racist and eugenic ties, our government gives Planned Parenthood over $ 1 million dollars of tax payer money a day!

Pro-Lifers Receiving Death Threats

Troy Newman, president of Operation Rescue, says the number of threats has increased since the slaying of George Tiller. Three Wichita-based anti-abortion groups say they have received death threats in response to last month’s killing of George Tiller. For years, Operation Rescue has received threats, but the number increased markedly after Tiller’s killing, the group’s president, Troy Newman, said Thursday. Some of the threats have been aimed at anti-abortion activities planned in Wichita this weekend, Newman said. Soon after Tiller’s shooting, police contacted four to five local anti-abortion groups, asking them to contact authorities if they received threats, said Wichita police Capt. Brent Allred.

Allred said police would investigate threats on either side of the abortion issue. “That’s our job… to take a fair and impartial role on this,” he said. For this weekend’s events, off-duty officers have been hired to help provide security, Newman said. It wasn’t clear Thursday whether on-duty officers will be used. The activities will include a prayer vigil Saturday near Tiller’s clinic on East Kellogg. One e-mail referring to this weekend’s activities said there would be “vengeance,” Newman said. Newman said he has received other troubling messages since the shooting. In one, a man said, “You’re dead, punk….” In another, a woman threatened Newman and his family. Newman said he has reported some of the threats to police and that he is taking security measures. “You’re aware of your surroundings, no matter where you are,” he said.

‘Emotions are… high’ Around the nation, anti-abortion leaders have been taking precautions before and after the shooting, said the Rev. Patrick Mahoney, director of the Washington, D.C.-based Christian Defense Coalition. “I don’t want to go into detail, but I know for a fact that numerous pro-life leaders travel with bulletproof vests,” Mahoney said. Wichita is now at the “epicenter” of the fallout over Tiller’s death, he said. A gunman shot Tiller as he was serving as an usher May 31 at his church near Rock Road and 13th Street. “Emotions are running very high in Wichita,” said Mahoney, who said he plans to be at the anti-abortion activities here this weekend. Within hours of the May 31 shooting, Newman said, Allred called to say that authorities were concerned that someone could seek retaliation for Tiller’s death by attacking anti-abortion leaders.

Although abortion opponents have widely condemned the shooting, some of them have been accused of encouraging the attack on Tiller by vocal, often bitter, opposition to doctors performing abortions. Tiller was one of the few doctors nationally providing late-term abortions. Scott Roeder, a 51-year-old who has lived around the Kansas City area and has protested at abortion clinics, has been charged with first-degree murder in Tiller’s death. Mahoney, the Christian Defense Coalition leader, said he has received about 50 death threats over the years but didn’t receive what he would consider a direct death threat after the Tiller shooting – although one man called to say, “You better watch yourself.”

Abortion is an emotional, controversial subject on both sides of the issue, and when you have that kind of emotion… on the fringes of both sides of the divide you’re going to have people who lash out,” he said. Other threats Just a few hours after the Tiller shooting, Mary Wilkinson was answering phones at the Wichita office of the anti-abortion group Kansans for Life when she got a call that stunned and scared her, she said. “This person was out of control, emotionally, you could just tell” – speaking in a loud, angry tone about Tiller’s killing, she said. She said she wanted to tell him, “We did not have anything to do with this…. That’s not what this organization is about. We were horrified about it and sad about it. Killing is never the answer.” But the person – it sounded like a man, but she wasn’t sure – wouldn’t let her “get a word in edgewise,” she said. “I hope you’re happy,” the person said. “You’ve killed him. Now I hope somebody comes and kills you all.”

The call prompted David Gittrich, the group’s state development director, to call police and report the threat. At the office, the staff waited for an officer to arrive before they left. “Because of that threat, we decided it was time to go home,” Gittrich said. Wilkinson said she feels optimistic now. “I think things are settling down now,” she said. “I just think the community needs some healing time.” A third Wichita-based anti-abortion group, the Kansas Coalition for Life, also has received threats, said the group’s president, Mark Gietzen. Gietzen said he received three serious threats since the shooting, two of which were “bad enough that I called police,” he said. One person left a text message a few hours after the shooting. The message: “One of you is going to die for what you did to Tiller.”

Fr. Tom Euteneuer, of Human Life International, describes what he and his organization have encountered.

Question: As an outspoken visible pro-life advocate, you work against the goals of pro-abortion politics and the abortion industry.  In what ways have you been threatened, either written or verbally, with physical harm?

Fr. Euteneuer: In the days when I was more actively doing sidewalk counseling, I was threatened with death twice by abortion clinic workers, threatened with physical harm numerous times by boyfriends and others who accompanied women to the clinic and several times I was assaulted by people in vehicles trying to run me over. The verbal harassment is too numerous and gross to recount, especially when directed against a man of the cloth.


Question:
What forms of harassment have you encountered in your work and travels, and which
groups or organizations seem to be sources of intimidation?

Fr. Euteneuer: There has been less harassment in my work with HLI given that I remain mostly in pro-life circles and focus on training and motivating. The anti-lifers are usually in their comfortable air-conditioned offices plotting the destruction of more children and do not harass us too much both because they are cowards and because they don’t need to have direct contact with us.

Several members of our international network who have direct contact with the abortion lobby in their countries do encounter problems however:

  1. In Kenya an abortionist tried to poison our director;
  2. in Mexico, the HLI director found a knife covered with red blood-like liquid stuck in his couch with a message to stay out of abortion;
  3. in Austria the anti-lifers have sued our affiliate (without success) and the city government of Vienna created special laws against them;
  4. in the Philippines there are attacks against the character of our pro-life people and one parliamentarian called for the deportation of HLI’s Dr. Brian Clowes when he did a speaking tour there;
  5. in Ecuador our affiliate leader was threatened with death, satanic graffiti was put on the door of a church against us,  the severed head of a dog was thrown into a church with a desecrated Sacred Host in its mouth.

Question: What specific security steps must you take in order to protect yourself from these attacks?

Fr. Euteneuer: Prayer.


Question:
In addition, have you learned of threats or violence to people close to you or in your family?

Fr. Euteneuer: There has only been intimidation of family members like my father who stands in front of the local Planned Parenthood.  It is regular fare: he has insults hurled at him and bottles thrown from cars.


Question:
How have these instances of intimidation and violence changed over the years?

Fr. Euteneuer: The violence and intimidation seems to change as political fortunes change: it tends to go from personal to institutional. For example, during the Clinton years the FACE Act was passed to shut down Operation Rescue-type protests; we can expect the same and worse in the Obama Administration. The physical assaults and intimidations will likely get worse also as the forces of death are emboldened by radical laws and policies.


Question:
Have threats, intimidation or violent harassment ever come in an open or official capacity?

Fr. Euteneuer: HLI was denied official status at the UN in the late ‘90s due to its strong stance on the life issues. The only other example that I can think of in my case is when the Minister of Health in Zimbabwe officially vetoed my talk to a nursing school in Harare. The incident of Dr. Brian Clowes in the Philippines mentioned above is another example. Other than open criticism in the media, we are more of a grass-roots training and educational organization and under the radar screen of most governments.


Question:
Finally, has there been an increase in irrational behavior including threats and violence?

Fr. Euteneuer: The behaviors have always been irrational, but the new element seems to be an occult element that I believe we will see more in the future. “Death-scorts” seem to be more prone to curse and “pray” against pro-lifers probably due to so many of them being involved in New Age and witchcraft. Some of it is overt and some not. The abortion clinic owner in Rockford, IL periodically comes out of his place dressed in a devil outfit, for example. He also puts blasphemous images of Jesus and religion in the window of the clinic. One abortionist in FL some years ago shook blood from his abortion instruments on the pro-lifers after a morning of killing. We will see much more of this in time.

African women with HIV ‘coerced into sterilisation’

Planned Parenthood’s Founder – Margaret Sanger would be very pleased with this story:

Women in Africa are being sterilized without their consent after being told the procedure is a routine treatment for Aids, a lawsuit will claim.

Forty HIV-positive women in Namibia have been made infertile against their will, according to the International Community of Women Living with HIV/Aids (ICW). The group is preparing to sue the Namibian government over at least 15 cases.

Campaigners also report coerced sterilization in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia and South Africa, where according to one report a 14-year-old girl was told she could have an abortion only on condition that she agreed to sacrifice her reproductive rights.

The ICW has documented cases in Namibia where HIV-positive women minutes from giving birth were encouraged to sign consent forms to prevent them from having more children. Jennifer Gatsi-Mallet, its co-ordinator in the country, said: “They were in pain, they were told to sign, they didn’t know what it was. They thought that it was part of their HIV treatment. None of them knew what sterilization was, including those from urban areas, because it was never explained to them.

“After six weeks they went to the family planning centre for birth control pills and were told that it’s not necessary: they’re sterile. Most of them were very upset. When they went back to the hospital and asked, ‘Why did you do this to us?’ the answer was: ‘You’ve got HIV’.”

Gatsi-Mallet said that some women were now afraid to go to hospital in case they are sterilized, and infertile women were often rejected by their husbands and communities: “In African culture, if you are not able to have children, you are ostracised. It’s worse than having HIV.”

African women aged between 20 and 34 have a higher prevalence of HIV than any other social group; in South Africa one in three is infected.

On average an HIV-positive mother has a one in four risk of transmitting the virus to her child. With the latest antiretroviral drugs, the probability can be cut to less than one in 50. But such medical interventions are underfunded and inaccessible to millions of women across the continent.

The ICW accuses the Namibian government of encouraging state doctors to sterilize HIV-positive women as a means of preventing the spread of the virus. Its request to see the government’s official guidelines has been refused. It hopes to bring 15 or more cases to court later this year.

A media report from Namibia last week highlighted the plight of Hilma Nendongo. A few weeks after giving birth, she was asked by a nurse: “Oh, did they tell you that you had been sterilised?”

Nendongo, 30, who is HIV-positive, suddenly remembered that hospital staff had told her to sign some papers as she entered the operating room for a caesarean section.

“It was a very big shock,” she told Canada’s Globe and Mail newspaper. “I was very emotional … I wanted a sister for my three boys, and now I can’t have one.”

In South Africa, cases are being referred to the Women’s Legal Centre with a view to a possible action. Promise Mthembu, a researcher at Witwatersrand University, said coerced sterilisations were happening in “very large areas” of the country.

Many patients were forced to undergo the operation as the only means of gaining access to medical services, Mthembu told the Mail & Guardian newspaper.

Newly released Nixon tapes confirm the statements of racism played on the new documentary on Black Genocide: Maafa21.

This month, the Nixon Library released more Nixon Tapes. Although the quality of the recordings are poor, Nixon and an aide held a conversation recorded on January 23, 1973, discussing that day’s Supreme Court’s decisions in Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton.

I know that there are times when abortions are necessary. I know that,” Nixon tells an aide, then adding, “When you have a black and a white.”

The aide interrupts, “or for rape,” to which Nixon quickly responds, “or rape.”

Recently, a new documentary: Maafa21, was released which exposed high level plans within the US to use abortion as Black Genocide. President Nixon formed the Population Commission which was headed by eugenics members.

Why I Fight On – Happy 4th of July

I was a teen when I first hit the street to sidewalk counsel outside an abortion clinic. I saw men drag women into the clinic and parents coerce their daughters to kill their children. We wept, we prayed, we begged the women to spare the lives of their children. Still the slaughter of abortion continues and still I weep and cry out for their lives.

Now that I am older I ask myself – Why do I fight on? Have we seen the victory, is the war not getting worse? I am often on the edge of decision on whether to leave the battle because, victory, it seems, is never going to happen. But, then I am reminded of why I fight. I fight for those who cannot speak or fight for themselves- the kids: Born and unborn. I fight because it is right and because I was “born for such a time as this.” Perhaps these words will not inspire anyone to continue but they are words I echo in my own ear time and again.

When we look back on history we see many battles that looked grim. Our forefathers came here leaving all they knew to create a place of freedom for us. They formed this nation and faced their own kinsmen in War to fight for what they believed to be great. They vowed their “lives, their wealth, and their sacred honor” to defend liberty. Not knowing the outcome, they entered the battle, because the cause was justified and freedom was worth the sacrifice. They took the risk and saw a victory.

When this nation endured the darkness of slavery, few good men and women said “NO“. They were the persecuted voices in their day – shouting against the evils of slavery to a nation whose very economy was based on the stripes of the black man. They were voiceless in Congress, the media, and even in many of the churches. Though few in numbers, they converted whom they could: one convert at a time. How could they face down an industry that enslaved millions with a handful of “radicals” freeing only a few men and women from the bondage of slavery? The great abolitionist William Lloyd Garrison wrote this in The Liberator, an abolitionist newspaper he created because he had been censored from the regular press. January 1, 1831:

I am aware, that many object to the severity of my language; but is there not cause for severity? I will be as harsh as truth, and as uncompromising as justice. On this subject, I do not wish to think, or speak, or write, with moderation. No! no! Tell a man whose house is on fire, to give a moderate alarm; tell him to moderately rescue his wife from the hand of the ravisher; tell the mother to gradually extricate her babe from the fire into which it has fallen; — but urge me not to use moderation in a cause like the present. I am in earnest — I will not equivocate — I will not excuse — I will not retreat a single inch — AND I WILL BE HEARD.”

Though victory seemed grim, they fought on, unsure of the results: freedom was worth the risk and victory finally came.

Thomas J “Stonewall” Jackson is one of the most famous American Generals of all time. He got his fame by fighting for the South in the American Civil War; he was very religious and thought to be a bit odd at times by his men. Jackson was heard telling his men, “My religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed. God has fixed the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to always be ready, no matter when it may overtake me.” With that in mind, General Jackson faced the battle with faith in God, sworn to his duty he was assured that God held his days in His able hands. “Look at Jackson standing there like a stone wall,” was the sentence that gave birth to his historic nickname.

As the Revolutionary War, Slavery, and the Civil War among others teach us, there have been dark times in American History before. The Bible itself is full of inspirational stories where the righteous was outnumbered and the battle looked bleak. For Example: David watched as the Israeli army backed off as Goliath mocked the Living God. Outraged that one man could cause such fear, David chose to march on trusting that His God was larger and greater than any earthly giant. David took a risk and stepped onto the battlefield alone but God showed up along side of him and the giant was silenced.

Thinking he was the only prophet of the Most High left, Elijah faced down 450 prophets of Baal , “You have abandoned the LORD’s commands and have followed the Baals. ” Elijah told Ahab, “Now summon the people from all over Israel to meet me on Mount Carmel. And bring the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal and the four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat at Jezebel’s table.” 1 Kings 18

Then Elijah said to them, “I am the only one of the LORD’s prophets left, but Baal has four hundred and fifty prophets. Get two bulls for us. Let them choose one for themselves, and let them cut it into pieces and put it on the wood but not set fire to it. I will prepare the other bull and put it on the wood but not set fire to it. Then you call on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of the LORD. The god who answers by fire—he is God.

Elijah – took a risk and GOD SHOWED UP! He put the false god’s of Baal to shame.

Esther was a young beautiful woman who was launched into the King’s chamber as Queen when he saw her beauty. But then her uncle sent word to her that the King had been tricked into signing a decree to massacre all of “her people, the Jews.” He spoke these words to her, “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place and you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:14)

Esther took a risk and went into see her King. She could have died in that attempt, but she believed the words of her Uncle that she had been sent to that position “for such a time as this.” She took a risk, and God saved her people.

In a little town a young woman was greeted by an angel, “Mary – you are great among women.” Told by the angel that she would bear a son, Mary trembled because she knew the consequences to pregnancy outside of marriage. Choosing instead to believe the words of God through His messenger, Mary replied, “Behold, the bondslave of the Lord; may it be done to me according to your word.” (Luke 1:38) Mary accepted that risk and the Lord literally showed up!

As we look out among this nation, many of us are battle torn and worn out. We are witnessing perhaps the death of America’s Freedom and Greatness. The prospect of that outcome has caused many to give-up, many to loose hope. But, we are not a people who should be motivated by what we “see” with earthly eyes. We are a people of Hope and a people who serve a Great God. Perhaps we have been spoiled by a sense of “freedom” few of us have ever been called upon to “defend”. Perhaps some of us have sat on the sidelines while others fought for us. Whatever the cause, we are where we are, and nothing happens outside of God’s vision. If America is seeing her last great days, so be it. I, for one, intend to stay in this battle to the end. I intend to fight on, not because victory has been promised. Precisely the opposite. I fight because it is right. I stand because I believe in truth and in God’s Word. I speak and defend the innocent because God commands me to. I am a patriotic American, but my last and final hope is not of this world, but of that world to come. If I can make a difference here on earth, great. But that is not my goal – it is to please and honor my King. I fight on, I take the risk, and I trust that if God is for me “Who can be against me?

For I am convinced that “neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39)

Please…do not quit, for who knows that you were born “FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS.” Speak for what is right, no matter who listens. Stand for what is right, no matter the consequences. Be a light in a dark and dying world and look to our one and only hope: The Lord Jesus Christ !

As we approach another birthday of this once great nation, let us take to our knees and bless America, stand in the gap for her, and repent for this land we love so dearly. “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 11Chronicle 7:14

Most people think eugenics is something that happened in the past with Hitler. But the US is loaded with Eugenic elitists who want to dictate to the rest of us who should be allowed to procreate. Author Whitney Bell, quotes known eugenic supporter and Planned Parenthood award winner: Garrett Hardin as stating, “Society does not need more children; but it does need more loved children. Quite literally, we cannot afford unloved children – but we pay heavily for them every day. There should not be the slightest communal concern when a woman elects to destroy the life of her thousandth-of-an-ounce embryo. But all society should rise up in alarm when it hears that a baby that is not wanted is about to be born.

Emphasizing the fact that the majority of abortions are performed on BLACK WOMEN Bell makes this alarming prediction, “My prediction is that a high percentage of the children who would’ve been aborted would be unwanted and wind up in the already overcrowded foster care system, where a lot of them would grow up to be criminals. Come on, tell me I’m wrong.”

CRIMINALS:??? Come On ! In fact, that was a ‘code word” used by Margaret Sanger and her Eugenics Buddies. “Idiots, Criminals, Inferior, Weeds“. An elitist point of view states that they are the only ones who should have ANY rights to procreate and they (elitists) should dictate to the rest of how how many kids we can have.

In the documentary: Maafa21 they show proof that the eugenics leadership in this nation as late as the 60’s were developing a plot to lace our food and water supplies with sterilization drugs so they could control population. Their target: URBAN NEIGHBORHOODS…surprised?

I would want people to be forced to take the birth control shot in the US before people are allowed to pick up their welfare check. Anthony, I agree with you. The injection is good idea–wish it could be put into legislation!

Procreation may be a “basic human function” but it shouldn’t be a right…Parental licensing, good idea! …

As far as SHOULD we limit our breeding, I say by all means YES. Here are some possible rules:

1) 3 max per lifetime, any over that are either taxed or are at least non-deductible.
2) Pay folks to be sterilized (bonuses for sterilizations performed before the 3 child threshold and any congenital diseases avoided).
3) Sales of your “Child Permit Credits” would be non-taxible. (Double score by selling credits AND getting sterilized!)

Women, and even men, should be given a standardized test, or as my fellow blogger said, a license to have children.

If you look at the global population problem, no one should be having any children, at least for a decade. Additionally, affluent countries where litters of children are encouraged, should limit the number of children per person and those who carry a high risk of complicated pregnancy should be discouraged. However, I will not go as far to say that rights to have children should be controlled by the gov’t, any more than the right to a safe abortion should be.

My I suggest two reasonably fair options.
The first could be a nanny society where only those suitable can have kids but everyone including the less productive members are looked after…The real problem is that taxpayers are currently forced to pay the child benefit for those unsuitable parents.

I have to say I am NOT surprised by these comments. The Eugenics Societies and the Margaret Sanger/ Planned Parenthood types have educated their dupes well on this issue. Maafa21 documents how the American Eugenic Society paid ministers to preach EUGENIC SERMONS in churches and many of them did this. SHOCKING!

Maafa21 also documents how so-called “Pro-Choice” Planned Parenthood founder, Margaret Sanger, called for parents to have a QUOTE: LICENSE TO BREED. She wanted all would be parents to go before her eugenic boards to request a “PERMIT TO BREED“. So much for Choice , huh?

Sanger also called for those who were poor and what she considered to be “morons‘ , etc to be shipped to colonies where they would live in “Farms and Open Spaces” dedicated to brainwashing these so-called “inferior types” into having what Sanger called, “Better moral conduct”. MORE SHOCKING!

These eugenic attitudes come from those who promote “CHOICE” . They bury their racism under words like “planning” and “Choice” and they get away with that kind of deceptive language because the elitists know that Planned Parenthood is accomplishing what EUGENICS alone could not. They have eliminated over 35% of the African American community. Sanger’s “NEGRO PROJECT” laid out the plan that we still see in effect through Planned Parenthood today!

Get the documentary MAAFA21, watch it and re-read the ignorant quotes I posted above, and you will see that what Maafa 21 says about Eugenics is still happening in America.

LIBERAL CENSORSHIP: IRS ‘prejudicial’ in pro-life group’s tax-exempt request

A new pro-life group in Iowa is involved in a squabble with the Internal Revenue Service over a request for tax-exempt status.

After applying for tax-exempt status and waiting a number of months for a response, the Coalition for Life of Iowa received a letter with very concerning questions from the IRS. Tom Brejcha of the Thomas More Society was shocked when he read the letter.

“‘Please explain how your prayer meetings outside Planned Parenthood are considered educational. Please explain in detail the activities at these prayer meetings,’ [it read],” he notes. “And if that wasn’t enough, get a load of this: ‘Please explain the percentage of your time that the organization spends on prayer groups as compared with other activities.’”

In a Thomas More press release, the IRS’s questions are described as “prejudicial” and labeled as harassment of the Coalition’s rights to prayer and legal protests. In the letter, the IRS claimed they would grant the organization tax-exempt status if its members stopped picketing and protesting outside of Planned Parenthood.

The Thomas More Society believes the IRS could be violating the First Amendment for denying tax-exempt status based solely on religious beliefs. Brejcha is urging the IRS to promptly comply with the Coalition’s requests.

“‘Please explain in detail the signs that are being held up outside Planned Parenthood and explain how they are educational,’” Brejcha quotes another question from the IRS.

Brejcha says the IRS never explained why any of their questions were relevant in relation to the Coalition’s request. Thomas More Society attorneys are handling the response and will take appropriate action if the IRS pursues its current course.

After viewing an extremely well documented film on eugenics, Maafa21,  and how it is still existing today, I was stunned to read this quote by Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Justice Ginsburg said: “I Thought Roe Would Help Eradicate Unwanted Population”

In an interview with the New York Times, the judge said that Medicaid should cover abortions, and that she had originally expected that Roe v. Wade would facilitate such coverage in order to control the population of groups “that we don’t want to have too many of.”

The statement was made in the context of a discussion about the fact that abortions are not covered by Medicaid, and therefore are less available to poor women. “Reproductive choice has to be straightened out,” said Ginsburg, lamenting the fact that only women “of means” can easily access abortion.

Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of,” Ginsburg told Emily Bazelon of the New York Times.

“So that Roe was going to be then set up for Medicaid funding for abortion. Which some people felt would risk coercing women into having abortions when they didn’t really want them. But when the court decided McRae, the case came out the other way. And then I realized that my perception of it had been altogether wrong.”

Justice Ginsburg’s remarks appear to align her expectations for abortion with those of Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger, and other prominent members of the 20th century’s eugenics movement. Sanger and her eugenicist peers advocated forced sterilization and the use of contraception, sterilization, and abortion to reduce the numbers of poor, black, immigrant and disabled population.

Sanger was the founder of Planned Parenthood and many of their board members also made outrageous statements to support Sanger’s eugenic views.

Sanger and Planned Parenthood were and have been supported by elitist in the government and in business to get the eugenic goals implemented Planned Parenthood’s former president, Faye Wattelton even admitted on CNN that they receive funds from people who want to see Blacks reduced in population in this nation.

Ginsburg’s words echo the American Eugenics Society of which Planned Parenthood founder and many of their board  were members. She also echos the words of another Supreme Court Justice: Oliver Wendell Holmes.

Writing for the majority in the Supreme Court’s affirmative decision of this landmark case, Buck vs. Bell Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. described Charlottesville native Carrie Buck as the “probable potential parent of socially inadequate offspring, likewise afflicted” stating that “her welfare and that of society will be promoted by her sterilization.”

In Upholding FORCED STERILIZATION , Justice Holmes wrote:

“It is better for all the world, if instead of waiting to execute degenerate offspring for crime or to let them starve for their imbecility, society can prevent those who are manifestly unfit from continuing their kind…
Three generations of imbeciles are enough.”

Republican President, Richard Nixon later echoed the same eugenic beliefs when he told members of his staff that the reason people will support abortion is because they know the ones being aborted are those “little black bastards.”

Given the fact that abortion kills 5 times more African American than white babies, perhaps eugenics has reached it’s goals, and Ginsburg is unhappy with the stats above. What other conclusion can we draw?

Sisters and Brothers:

This morning I spent some time in prayer for America – it was the type of prayer that was so incredibly urgent that I sobbed and cried out to our Lord for His mercy on this nation I deeply love.

Many changes are happening in our country and many more are coming down quickly. Huge changes are on the brink of decision in Washington and it appears there is nothing we can do about it unless the Lord were to intervene. Well…when all seems hopeless, when it seems as though there is nothing we can do, let me tell you – that is the perfect time to cry out to a God who is full of mercy.

Let us not forget that: when the Israelites left Egypt, Pharaoh changed his mind and began to pursue them. They ran and ran until their backs were against a wall- or a Red Sea. But God in His mercy opened up that Sea. He did the miraculous.

When the Disciples were in the boat with Jesus and the storm began to blow – the winds picked up and they feared for their very lives, they finally turned and WOKE JESUS UP.
“H-E-L-P”, they cried.
Our Lord rebuked those winds and stopped the raging seas.

Many times in scripture we see Moses or Daniel and others bargaining ( for lack of a better word) with the Lord ” Do not destroy this people” , And for the sake of the righteous one doing the pleading the Lord was moved.

When Esther was Queen, and the Jews were threatened, she went into an earthly king – fearing her life- she threw herself at his mercy and petitioned him on behalf of herself and her people. An earthly King who loved His queen was moved with compassion and fought to save Esther and her people. Listen to me, if an earthly king can be moved to change his mind – to overthrow a decree- than how much more would our Heavenly King of all Kings and more merciful than imaginable be moved if we but beseech Him?

I do not know the outcome of all these changes in our land and I do not know God’s perfect will for our nation. We, as a nation, have brought this upon ourselves to a certain extent. But there is one thing I am certain – I serve a merciful and forgiving Father. I refuse to look only at the magnitude of the problem, but I choose to see the vastness and greatness of our Lord. Scripture tells us that if we, His people, will come to Him and beseech Him for our nation, repenting for the sin of this nation, that He will hear us from Heaven forgive our sin and heal our land.

Get that? From Heaven – He will HEAR US ! I am so moved by that – my Lord- awesome God- will HEAR US !

Please Please Please – if you feel discouraged, like quitting, like turning your head away and simply accepting the direction things are heading… If you feel like there is no possibility of changing the course of America – please I beg you – turn to the Lord. Like never before, beseech the Lord for His mercy over this land. I am not so proud that I will not cry out and accept responsibility for my own sin that may have led to the direction this nation is taking. I will fall at His feet and I will humble myself before His mighty hand and I will declare that He is the Lord and He holds the hand of the King in His hand. “The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.” ( Proverbs 21:1)

With that, I know that after I have laid everything at His feet – all my concerns, I can trust Him for the final outcome. Not My outcome but the one that furthers His Kingdom and I will accept His will in every situation. But, I will ask and keep asking – seek and keep seeking – knock and keep knocking until that decision is made.

As a left-leaning Rutgers law professor in the early 1970s, Ruth Bader Ginsburg thought that the Roe v. Wade abortion decision was the product of “concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations we don’t want too many of,” she recalled in a recent New York Times Magazine interview.

Her expectation was that the purported right to abortion created in Roe “was going to be then set up for Medicaid funding for abortion. Which some people felt would risk coercing women into having abortions when they didn’t really want them.”

Ginsburg doesn’t specify which parts of the human population “we” should cull, or how the creation of an abortion “right” would necessarily be a prelude to creation of a system in which abortion would be required in some circumstances. She told the Times that the question was effectively rendered moot by the Supreme Court’s Harris v. McRae decision, which upheld a ban on Medicaid funding of abortion. That decision, handed down in 1980, indicated that her “perception” of the issue “had been altogether wrong,” Ginsburg concludes.

But this means that there was an interval of roughly seven years during which Ginsburg, a well-informed and influential academic, believed that America was creating a eugenicist system in which abortion would help reduce “undesirable” populations – however those populations would be defined. This was what Roe had wrought, Ginsburg believed for several years, and if she ever experienced misgivings about it, she managed to keep them private.

Another question worth examining is this: Where did Ginsburg – a rising star in academe long before being tapped to fill the Rosa Klebb seat on the Supreme Court – get the impression that American policy-making elites were discussing the use of welfare subsidies to bring about the attrition of “undesirable” populations?

If I may be permitted a modest venture in speculation, I’d suggest that Ginsburg, sometime in the 1960s or 1970s, became at least superficially acquainted with the writings of John Holdren or of like-minded people in the most militant branch of the population control movement.

In 1977, Mr. Holdren was a young academic who helped anti-natalist guru Paul Ehrlich and his wife Anne write an arrestingly horrible book entitled Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment. Today, Holdren is Barack Obama’s “Science Czar,” in which capacity he counsels the president regarding the role of science in public policy. This relationship has a certain Strangelovian undercurrent, given Holdren’s enthusiasm for eugenicist and totalitarian methods of population “management.”

In a passage that reads eerily like the direct counterpoint to Ginsburg’s musings about the reduction of undesirable populations, Holdren and the Ehrlichs wrote:

If some individuals contribute to general social deterioration by overproducing children, and if the need is compelling, they can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility – just as they can be required to exercise responsibility in their resource-consumption patterns….

The book offers similarly casual endorsements of “involuntary” and “coercive” fertility control,” including the mandatory implantation of a Norplant-style capsule that “might be removable, with official permission, for a limited number of births.”

The authors endorse the creation of “a Planetary regime” in charge of regulating all human economic activity and interactions with the environment and the “power to enforce the agreed limits” on human population growth through whatever means might be necessary – including compelled abortion, involuntary individual sterilization, or even mass involuntary sterilization through the infiltration of sterilizing agents into public water supplies.

That last deranged suggestion appears in several of Paul Ehrlich’s other books, including his (if you will excuse the expression) seminal 1967 alarmist tract The Population Bomb.

As someone who shared a full authorial credit on the book, Holdren bears full responsibility for the content of Ecoscience. His militantly anti-natalist views are easily as repulsive as anything promoted by white supremacist groups, albeit all the more dangerous for being more inclusive in their misanthropy. His writings would have been uncovered in the routine vetting process following his nomination, but they never came up during his confirmation hearing.

What is genuinely unsettling, however, is this: The totalitarian prescriptions offered in Ecoscience were squarely in the mainstream of the Stygian sewer called the population control movement.

In 1967, sociologist, demographer, and population control heavyweight Kingsley Davis published an essay in Science magazine observing that “the social structure and economy must be changed before a deliberate reduction in the birthrate can be achieved” in the West. He urged governments to subsidize voluntary abortion and sterilization and restructure their tax systems to discourage both marriage and childbirth.

Davis’s recommendations apparently inspired Frederick Jaffe, Vice President of Planned Parenthood, when he composed a 1969 memorandum intended for use as a template for anti-natalist efforts.

Jaffe’s memorandum, a version of which was published in the October 1970 issue of Family Planning Perspectives, organized recommended social policies under four headings: “Social Constraints,” “Economic Deterrents/Incentives,” “Social Controls,” and “Housing Policies.”

Like Paul Ehrlich, Jaffe suggested the placement of “fertility control agents in [the] water supply“; this recommendation was filed, oddly enough, under “Social Constraints.” “Social Controls,” on the other hand, included such measures as “compulsory abortion of all out-of-wedlock pregnancies,” “compulsory sterilization of all who have two children except for a few who would be allowed three,” and the issuance of “stock certificate-type permits for children.” (Nearly every radical population control system is built around the idea of a government-issued “permit” or “license” to have children.)

These totalitarian measures were widely and unabashedly promoted in the literature of the population control movement at precisely the time that the Roe decision was (if, once again, you’ll excuse the expression) gestating in the court system.

How can we reduce reproduction?” wrote Garrett Hardin in a 1970 Science magazine article entitled “Parenthood: Right or Privilege?” “Persuasion must be tried first…. Mild coercion may soon be accepted – for example, tax rewards for reproductive non-proliferation. But in the long run, a purely voluntary system selects for its own failure: noncooperators out-breed cooperators. So what restraints shall we employ? A policeman under every bed? Jail sentences? Compulsory abortion? Infanticide?… Memories of Nazi Germany rise and obscure our vision.”

Oh, those dreadful Nazis: If only they hadn’t given totalitarian eugenics such a bad name….

Hardin was one of many anti-natalist luminaries – the list included Kingsley Davis, Margaret Mead, Paul Ehrlich, and sundry Planned Parenthood leaders – who endorsed the 1971 manifesto The Case for Compulsory Birth Control by Edgar R. Chasteen. That book offered one-stop shopping for policy-makers seeking draconian population management methods.

Chasteen was emphatic on two points: First, ruling elites had to indoctrinate the public into accepting the idea that “parenthood [is] a privilege extended by society, rather than a right“; and second, that in the interests of public relations, supporters of that totalitarian perspective needed to settle on “a name other than compulsory birth control.”

Essentially the same program was endorsed by Dr. Norman Myers, an adviser to the World Bank and various UN agencies, in his peculiar 1990 volume The Gaia Atlas of Future Worlds.

Government population-control policies using strong economic and social incentives have been effective in China and Singapore,” wrote Myers, who commended China in particular for using “strong social pressure” to control its population. Myers didn’t to dwell on the fact that the Chinese government employs severe punishments – prison time, destruction of homes, retaliation against family members and co-workers – for women who have “unauthorized” children.

Myers suggested a variation on the same concept behind the “cap-and-trade” carbon credit system employing government-issued birth permits. Under his plan, couples would “be issued with a warrant entitling them to have a single child…. This warrant might even carry commercial value, allowing individuals to decide not to have children at all and to sell their entitlements to others wanting larger families.

Arguably the most astonishing variant on this approach was proposed in 1994, just prior to the UN’s International Conference on Population and Development in Cairo, Egypt.

In a book entitled Too Many People, Sir Roy Calne, a noted British physician, proposed a universal minimum childbearing age of 25, and a strict two-child quota. Those seeking the government-dispensed “privilege” of having children would have to pass a state-mandated parenting class and receive the appropriate “reproduction license.” Those who violate those restrictions would lose their children and face Chinese-style economic sanctions and criminal punishments.

Calne also suggested the development of an engineered sterility pathogen – he called it the “O virus” – that could be administered to women world-wide as a vaccine.

These malignant proposals are not just flatulent thought-bubbles blown in languid speculation by fringe eccentrics in the academic realm: With the exception – as far as we know – of mass involuntary sterilization through covert chemical or biological warfare, every method of coercive population control described above has been implemented somewhere with the material aid of the United Nations and its affiliates, and the practical support of organizations such as Planned Parenthood and Marie Stopes International.

Every argument on behalf of state-imposed population control rejects the concept of individual self-ownership and assumes that human lives – individually and in the aggregate – are a resource to be managed by society’s supervisors on behalf of the “common good.” And, as Ruth Bader Ginsburg correctly intuited in 1973, the Roe vs. Wade decision was a triumph, albeit an incomplete one, for the cause of eugenicist population control.

Although it was swaddled in the language of individual empowerment, the Roe decision was a dramatic victory for collectivism: It enshrined, in what our rulers are pleased to call the “law,” the assumption that a human individual is a “person” only when that status is conferred by the government.

While Harry Blackmun’s opinion in Roe pointedly avoided the question of when “personhood” begins, it emphatically made it clear that, for purposes of “law,” that the term doesn’t apply to any human individual in his or her pre-natal stage of development. This, not the liberty to procure an abortion, is the real gravamen, or central legal finding, in the Roe decision: It put the government in charge of defining who is, and isn’t a person.

As judges like to say, the matter of reducing “undesirable” populations is reaching “ripeness” now. Barack Obama’s administration is eagerly expanding the government-dependent population and preparing to impose centralized “universal” health care on our society. And while all of this is going on, John Holdren, unabashed advocate of totalitarian population control, is in a position to whisper unthinkable thoughts into Obama’s ear.

Defund the racism – Defund Planned Parenthood

As debate continues about de facto federal funding for abortion in proposed health care legislation, U.S. Congressman Mike Pence (R-IN) has filed an amendment which would deny federal funding to Planned Parenthood through Title X Family Planning.

A backgrounder from Rep. Pence’s office says the amendment would withhold annual appropriations of Health and Human Services’ Family Planning funds from Planned Parenthood.

In Wednesday remarks on the floor of the House of Representatives, Rep. Pence said “The time has come to deny any and all federal funding to Planned Parenthood of America. The largest abortion provider in America should not also be the largest recipient of federal funds under Title X.

Expressing confidence his proposed amendment will be “widely supported,” he asked the House Rules Committee to place it in the voting order.

Rep. Pence said that Planned Parenthood performed more than 305,000 abortions last year and received nearly $350 million of federal taxpayer money from 2007 to 2008.

He also cited state investigations into cases of Planned Parenthood staffers apparently encouraging underage girls to lie about their ages to avoid mandatory state reporting laws on statutory rape.

Title X money given to organizations that provide both abortions and family planning services, Pence pointed out, can be used to offset operational costs and free up money to “promote and provide abortions.”

Again I say, the time has come to deny any and all federal funding to Planned Parenthood of America. The largest abortion provider in America should not also be the largest recipient of federal funds under Title X. It’s time to pass the Pence Amendment to keep taxpayer money out of the hands of Planned Parenthood.

Subtitled “Black Genocide in the 21st Century,” this video traces the abortion industry back through its eugenics roots. It proves through innumerable sources that the founders of Planned Parenthood and other parts of the abortion movement were interested in killing off the black race in America and elsewhere. The movie exposes some of the most powerful leaders of the socialist and humanist movements of the 20th Century as some of the worst racists, on the same level as Adolf Hitler but much more clever. The argument is presented so well here that it is irrefutable. The taped excerpt of President Nixon saying “kill the black b*st*rds” is horrifying. The filmmakers behind this video calculate that abortion has reduced the black population in the United States by about 25%!

Although MAAFA 21 could be condensed, the filmmakers are clearly interested in getting all the evidence on the table. If this movie gets wide circulation among the African American community, it should bring an end to Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry.

The only problem with this documentary is that there are several references that sound like class warfare. These are balanced by a good Christian sermon at the end, but it would have been better if it had a coherent Judeo-Christian worldview toward the topic without the accusations of elitism.

That said, clearly the people perpetrating this abortion genocide are elitist in their own minds, and they need to be called to account. MAAFA 21 is must viewing for every adult in the world whatever their race!

In a new film, MAAFA21 (maafa21.com) by Mark Crutcher, several African American leaders calling for reparations appear to discuss the current situation of Black genocide, linking today´s existing patterns of race selection and population control to the days of slavery in America. The film highlights modern day funders of eugenics, linking them to companies that financed efforts to reduce or eliminate the Negro population at the time slavery was ending in America.

Today, many Black leaders are adding their voices to their predecessors who decried abortion, forced sterilization, and mandated birth control in the late sixties and early seventies. These same leaders are calling on population control magnates to use their billions to end eugenics and genocidal practices that are being promoted globally today in the 21st century.

Reparations should start with organizations like the Rockefeller Foundation, Proctor and Gamble, Planned Parenthood, The Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, and all of the entities that are capitalizing on genocide and eugenics in the world today. This includes those who are investing billions in population control programs. Even those in high ranking positions in government should not be exempt, including U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg who recently made a revealing admission in favor of cleansing America of unwanted populations by aborting them,” said spokespersons for a growing number of voices in favor of reparations.

Yes, we´re talking about dollars and cents, but we are also talking about healing,” say spokespersons Pastor Stephen Broden of Dallas, Texas, Dr. Johnny Hunter, National Director of LEARN, and Pastor Luke Robinson of Frederick, MD.

Who needs to write the check? Those who fund the genocide – not the taxpayers! Not long ago, many of us got rebate checks in the mail, followed by the promises of a stimulus package. We can all see how little good that did for the economy,” say the leaders.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. once spoke of a check marked insufficient funds,” says his niece, Dr. Alveda King. “America is once again facing spiritual and moral bankruptcy, even in the face of the looming economic crisis.”

MAAFA21 reveals and evaluates the effects of eugenics and genocide on Black American families and communities, uncovering and unveiling those forces that drive the destruction of targeted ethnic groups.

Herein, the concept of reparations is important and timely. It´s important, obviously, because of the grave evil that slavery was and that genocide is today. Just as slavery led to a succession of more evils, today genocide leads to the decimation of the African American community. Fully one-fourth of the black population of the United States has gone missing because genocide takes their lives before they can enjoy liberty or pursue happiness. It is time to restore the personhood of all people, regardless of skin color or gestational age. This means that we have to repent for all forms of racism, including skin color and gestational age. Slavery and womb lynching have a lot in common. They are destroyers of life and dignity.

In America, slavery and racism were followed by Jim Crow laws, segregation, and lynching. Subsequent solutions such as the crippling welfare system, forced sterilization, mandated birth control methods and abortions are bandages on wounds that still need to be healed.

We must also remember that the linchpin of slavery is the emasculation of the Black man. By taking away his God ordained headship of marriage and family, a serious blow is struck to human society as a whole. Our men must be restored!

We, the undersigned Black pastors and leaders take up the mantle to pray for and guide our communities in the process of breaking the bonds of oppression, even as our forefathers did before us.

Oppression is a double-edged sword, enslaving the victim while binding the oppressor. In order to maintain the system from which he benefits materially, the oppressor has to believe and bankroll a lie. Then, to maintain his belief that he is somehow inherently superior, he has to fabricate more and more lies every time the truth of what he´s doing sears his conscience. The oppressed die physically, the oppressors die spiritually.

We must repent for going against the truth that all people are created from one blood (Acts 17:26). Then we must repair the broken and abused. This way, The Beloved Community of Dr. King can emerge. We urge all people no matter your economic or ethnic estate, to embrace the call for reparations. Contact your elected officials, and those in the economic strata and call for reparations for America´s genocide. Tomorrow depends on it.

Death Panels? Is it possible?

The recent uproar about Obama’s plan to nationalize health care has spurred much controversy. Hidden within the 1000 page Bill is language that most scholars and lawyers can barely understand and includes  legislation which, has  scared many citizens.  The mere suggestion that an elderly or dying patient would be required to appear before a GOVERNMENT employee to help them with “end of life issues” has sent Obama’s “Plan” into a tailspin.

What I would like to examine here is not the actual language, or whether the bill is really suggesting some sort of a “death panel” for euthanasia or rationing, but whether this type of idea is possible.

To understand some of what drives the fears, we need not look to far beyond the President’s own pick for his Science Czar, Paul Holdren.  In the 1970’s Holdren published many books, several which were co-authored with radical population control guru, Paul Ehrlich.  Although Holdren may not have absolutely stated that he wanted to add sterilizing agents to the nation’s water supplies to keep the population down, he did say that if the population did not “voluntarily” decrease, this could be one option. And Holdren should know, because he was on panels and in touch with high level government officials, birth control pushers, pro-abortion enthusiasts, and Zero Population Growth experts who were, in fact, espousing this type of coercion. Holdren stated officially that one of his mentors was a Professor he had by the name of Paul Harrison.

Harrison suggested that infanticide was a legitimate form of population control when he wrote this in his book, The Challenge of Man’s Future, from page 87 .  ” In the absence of restraint abortion, sterilization, coitus interruptus, or artificial fertility control, the resultant high birth rate would have to be matched at equilibrium by an equally high death rate. A major contribution to the high death rate could be infanticide, as has been the situation in cultures of the past.

Holdren asked this question in an article authored by him, which was published a book entitled, No Growth Society,

Why, then, should we compound our plight by permitting population growth to continue?” He stated clearly that in the 1970’s the US had already exceeded its “optimum population size of 210 million” (pg. 41) and concluded that , ” it should be  obvious that the optimum rate of population growth is zero or negative…

Many people are not aware of the fact that State GOVERNMENTS within the  United States openly supported Eugenics. In fact, as early as 1907 Indiana had established the first GOVERNMENT “eugenics court” and the last GOVERNMENT Eugenics court was not closed until 1984, that was in Oregon.  These Eugenics Courts, were GOVERNMENT Boards and they required the poor, the infirmed, “feebleminded” and minorities, which,  included a large population of black people to appear before them to decide who could and could not pro-create. Remember, Eugenics Boards and GOVERNMENT Boards – were one in the same. Many of these underrepresented people groups were forcibly sterilized and coerced into birth control clinics in order to keep their GOVERNMENT welfare! One other important fact you may not be aware of is the history of the founding of the first group who fought for the legalization of Euthanasia. Most people are not aware that many of the exact same people who originally founded the idea of legalized euthanasia in the US, were the same ones who were on the Board of Planned Parenthood Founder, Margaret Sanger’s American Birth Control League (ABCL). To examine this closer – all you have to do is get a copy of the New York Times from January 17,1938.

In 1938, just a few years prior to the American Birth Control League (ABCL) changing it’s name to Planned Parenthood, which today is the largest abortion provider in the nation, a group of American Eugenics Society Members and Sanger’s American Birth Control League (ABCL)  members got together and formed the National Society for the Legalization of Euthanasia. Heading this pro-euthanasia panel was a man by the name of Charles F. Potter who, in 1938 was also on the ABCL Committee for Planned Parenthood according to a February 1938, New York Times story. Potter was the leader of the First Humanist Society and organized this entire pro-euthanasia group.

Also on this pro-euthanasia board was: Sidney Goldstein who sat on the American Birth Control League’s National Council and later was on Planned Parenthood’s Board of Directors.  Another member was Frank H. Hankins who was a managing editor for Planned Parenthood founder, Margaret Sanger’s newsletter called the Birth Control Review.  Hankins was also an American Eugenics Society member.  Another more famous name who was sat on the advisory board of this pro-euthanasia panel, was Julian Huxley, who was a later recipient of a Planned Parenthood award.

Mrs. F. Robertson Jones was also on this panel, she was an ABCL President, wrote for Sanger’s Birth Control Review , was an honorary board member of Planned Parenthood-World Population and a Board of Director of Planned Parenthood.  ABCL Citizen’s Committee for Planned Parenthood member, Dr. Foster Kennedy, was also on the pro-euthanasia panel.  American Eugenics Society Member, Clarence Cook Little, who was  the President of  Margaret Sanger’s American Birth Control League (ABCL), at the same time he was on this pro-euthanasia panel.  American Eugenics Society founder and friend to Margaret Sanger, Leon Whitney, also sat on this panel. Whitney advocated forced sterilization, was published in Sanger’s Birth Control Review, and openly praised Adolf Hitler for his Nazi effort. Planned Parenthood founder, Margaret Sanger was not on this panel, but she was a member of the American Eugenics Society and many of their members were on this panel. Sanger admitted that she gave a speech to the Klu Klu Klan and  in her autobiography , she bragged that she received a dozen invites from the Klan for further speeches.  Planned Parenthood is the nation’s largest Population Control and some would say “Eugenics Control” organization and they receive millions of dollars from the US GOVERNMENT. Care to ask why????

It is important to know this because the “population Control” , “Zero Population Growth”,  “Planned Parenthood” crowds are buzzing around this administration and have been heavily involved in government decision making for years. In fact, Sanger’s Planned Parenthood organization receives over $1 million dollars a day from the Government to sterilize and abort this so-called over-populated society. Planned Parenthood’s own research arm, the Alan Guttmacher Institute , reports that Black Minorities receive 5 abortions to every 1 white baby aborted in this nation. Is this coincidence or a form of racist and eugenic targeting? Remember that when they removed the GOVERNMENT Eugenics Courts, they appear to have replaced them with Federal Funding of Population Control Groups, like Planned Parenthood.

So , could we see potential “Death Panels” in Nationalized Health Care, or Co-op Health Care? You Bet! Look at those who have been advocating for euthanasia and abortion for many years and you will see that they receive large amounts of funding from the GOVERNMENT already. Do you really believe that if we can form GOVERNMENT Eugenics Boards which forcibly sterilized thousand of Americans, murder 50 million unborn children through abortion with the blessing and funding of the GOVERNMENT to the nation’s largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood, and form euthanasia panels to legalize the act, that we would never have GOVERNMENT death panels? Then…think again !

Doctors Warn of New Pro-Suicide Bias in U.S. Law and Policy

WASHINGTON, Aug. 26 /Christian Newswire/ — The Christian Medical Association (CMA), the nation’s largest faith-based organization of physicians, today warned of the potential for pro- suicide ideology to seep into law and government policy. The organization pointed to pro-suicide influence in a controversial Veterans Administration (VA) manual and a section of the main House healthcare overhaul bill.

The VA manual, entitled, “Your Life, Your Choices: Planning for Future Medical Decisions,” was co- authored by Dr. Robert Pearlman, who unsuccessfully pleaded for a constitutional right to assisted suicide in a 1996 Supreme Court case. [i]

The VA manual lists scenarios such as being in a wheelchair, needing kidney dialysis, or requiring a feeding tube and then asks the patient to consider whether those situations might make his or her life “Not worth living.”

Dr. Gene Rudd, Senior Vice President of the 16,000- member Christian Medical Association, said, “As physicians, we recognize the value of advance planning and counseling and appointing a personal healthcare proxy. The VA manual goes a step further, however, subtly raising with vulnerable patients the possibility that physical impairments might make their lives, in the words of the manual, “not worth living.”

And now we learn that the pro-assisted suicide group Compassion & Choices claims [ii] to have worked with Congressional leaders to secure the end-of-life section of the healthcare overhaul bill, HR 3200. Section 1233 of that bill calls for government funds to pay healthcare professionals to give patients ‘an explanation of orders regarding life sustaining treatment or similar orders, which shall include– the reasons why the development of such an order is beneficial to the individual and the individual’s family…

Imagine that you’re depressed. You found out last week you have cancer. You were told that with treatment you have a 50/50 chance of beating it. No one knows how sad you are; no one has asked.

But now the end-of-life counselor suggests you should consider this: Your disease and treatment may be a burden on your family. The cost of treatment will be significant. You may accept treatment, or decline treatment and opt for comfort care. Imagine the impact of those suggestions on a vulnerable patient.

Such counseling may serve the government’s purposes in a bill explicitly designed to ‘reduce the growth in health care spending.’ But it does not serve the patient’s best interest.

A physician must remain an impartial advocate for the patient–not for the government. Paying physicians and others to counsel patients regarding the end of life when the government will be paying for that patient’s end of life care creates a conflict of interest. Patients need to know they can trust us to give independent counsel–not government propaganda.

Angus Reid Strategies, whose polling work on political, social and economic policy is frequently quoted in the world’s leading publications has published a Canadian poll revealing the country’s attitudes toward Euthanasia. After years of socialized medicine, this poll reveals some interesting facts.

From the August 11,2009 poll:

Half the sample was asked whether they support doctor-assisted suicide while the other half was asked if they supported euthanasia.

Results from both questions were virtually identical (77% supported legalizing euthanasia while 78% supported allowing doctor-assisted suicide).

In order to determine whether support for euthanasia varies in specific cases, respondents were presented with certain scenarios under which patients may seek to end their lives.

Support for euthanasia was strongest under scenarios where a patient is terminally ill and seeks to end their life early (85% support euthanasia in this scenario) and where a patient is in a coma with little chance of waking and had previously specified their wishes to have their life terminated if they were ever to find themselves in this condition (86% support euthanasia in this scenario).

Support for euthanasia plunges for patients seeking to be die at the same time as their spouse, a scenario that made headlines when British composer Edward Downes sought to end his life along with his wife at a private clinic in Switzerland last month. Three-in-four Quebecers (76%) strongly oppose euthanasia in this instance.

Quebecers are split on whether a parent should have the right to euthanize a child suffering from a severe form of a disease like cerebral palsy, a situation similar to the notorious Robert Latimer case. In this instance, 40 per cent of respondents would support euthanasia while 48 per cent would oppose it.

Nearly three-in-four respondents (72%) also said that they believe patients should also have the right to refuse life-saving treatment from doctors.

Finally, a near majority of Quebecers (49%) believe that provincial governments—and not the federal government—should be allowed to set the laws that govern whether euthanasia is legal and under what circumstances.

The findings are strikingly consistent across a variety of demographic groups. While older respondents tend to be slightly more opposed to euthanasia, there is surprisingly.

So, in the current Health Care debate, could we see euthanasia on children whose parents find then inconvenient? Sure? and the elderly? You bet !

In the 1970s, as the leading theoretician of animal rights, Peter Singer, Professor of Bioethics at Princeton University and Philosophy coined the term “speciesism” for anyone so narrow-minded as to, “allow the interest of his species to override the greater interest of members of other species“. Singer holds that the right to physical integrity is grounded in a being’s ability to suffer, and the right to life is grounded in the ability to plan and anticipate one’s future. Since the unborn, infants, and severely disabled people lack the ability to plan and anticipate their future, he states that abortion, infanticide, and euthanasia can be justified in certain special circumstances, for instance in the case of severely disabled infants whose life would cause suffering both to themselves and to their parents.

In a question posed to Singer, it was asked:
“If you had to save either a human being or a mouse from a fire, with no time to save them both, wouldn’t you save the human being?”

Singer’s answer, ” Yes, in almost all cases I would save the human being. But not because the human being is human, that is, a member of the species Homo sapiens. Species membership alone isn’t morally significant, but equal consideration for similar interests allows different consideration for different interests. The qualities that are ethically significant are, firstly, a capacity to experience something — that is, a capacity to feel pain, or to have any kind of feelings. That’s really basic, and it’s something that a mouse shares with us. But when it comes to a question of taking life, or allowing life to end, it matters whether a being is the kind of being who can see that he or she actually has a life — that is, can see that he or she is the same being who exists now, who existed in the past, and who will exist in the future. Such a being has more to lose than a being incapable of understand this. Any normal human being past infancy will have such a sense of existing over time. I’m not sure that mice do, and if they do, their time frame is probably much more limited. So normally, the death of a human being is a greater loss to the human than the death of a mouse is to the mouse – for the human, it cuts off plans for the distant future, for example, but not in the case of the mouse. And we can add to that the greater extent of grief and distress that, in most cases, the family of the human being will experience, as compared with the family of the mouse (although we should not forget that animals, especially mammals and birds, can have close ties to their offspring and mates). That’s why, in general, it would be right to save the human, and not the mouse, from the burning building, if one could not save both. But this depends on the qualities and characteristics that the human being has. If, for example, the human being had suffered brain damage so severe as to be in an irreversible state of unconsciousness, then it might not be better to save the human

Singer states here that, ” The difference between killing disabled and normal infants lies not in any supposed right to life that the latter has and the former lacks, but in other considerations about killing. Most obviously there is the difference that often exists in the attitudes of the parents. The birth of a child is usually a happy event for the parents. They have, nowadays, often planned for the child. The mother has carried it for nine months. From birth, a natural affection begins to bind the parents to it. So one important reason why it is normally a terrible thing to kill an infant is the effect the killing will have on its parents.

It is different when the infant is born with a serious disability. Birth abnormalities vary, of course. Some are trivial and have little effect on the child or its parents; but others turn the normally joyful event of birth into a threat to the happiness of the parents, and any other children they may have.

Parents may, with good reason, regret that a disabled child was ever born. In that event the effect that the death of the child will have on its parents can be a reason for, rather than against killing it.

When asked the question: Would you kill a disabled baby?

Whistleblowers:Unsafe Conditions at Carhart’s Abortion Clinic

BELLEVUE, Neb., Aug. 28 /Christian Newswire/ — Four former employees of late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart have come forward to tell of unsafe and illegal practices at LeRoy Carhart’s Bellevue, Nebraska, abortion clinic.

Members of Operation Rescue and Rescue the Heartland were contacted directly by three of the women. A fourth woman is working directly with a pro-life attorney to tell her knowledge of illegal and unsafe conditions at Carhart’s clinic.

The women have made allegations that unlicensed staff illegally performed medical duties that they were not trained for or legally qualified to do, such as starting IVs, dispensing medication, and even assisting with surgeries. There were also allegations of general unclean conditions, including dried blood on surgical instruments. In addition, the women told of missing narcotics, illicit drug use by employees, and illegal post-viability abortions.

The women worked for Carhart at various times, yet they all made similar, if not identical allegations when interviewed.

One former employee told of incidents where Carhart falsified the gestational age of viable babies in order to circumvent the law. This account matches information uncovered by Operation Rescue during an undercover investigation at the now-closed Women’s Health Care Services in Wichita, Kansas, where Carhart once worked. The worker caught falsifying gestational ages in Kansas now works for Carhart at his Bellevue, Nebraska, abortion clinic. (Read full report.)

The women have given sworn statements about illegal and unsafe activity at Carhart’s abortion clinic, which will be turned over to the Attorney General’s office and the Nebraska Department of Health, which is investigating Carhart. The women have agreed to cooperate with the investigation.

We commend these brave women for coming forward to tell of unsafe and illegal conditions that exist at Carhart’s abortion mill,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “Their courage will help protect women whose health and safety currently at risk.

Operation Rescue is not releasing the identity of the women out of concern of reprisals against them from Carhart, but the authorities investigating Carhart will have access to that information.

“These allegations are serious and demand immediate action on the part of the authorities in the interest of public safety. Lawyer: FBI Paid Right-Wing Blogger Charged With Threats

A notorious New Jersey hate blogger charged in June with threatening to kill judges and lawmakers was secretly an FBI “agent provocateur” paid to disseminate right-wing rhetoric, his attorney said Wednesday.

HalTurnerHal Turner, the blogger and radio personality, remains jailed pending charges over his recent online rants, which prosecutors claim amounted to an invitation for someone to kill Connecticut lawmakers and Chicago federal appeals court judges.

But behind the scenes the reformed white supremacist was holding clandestine meetings with FBI agents who taught him how to spew hate “without crossing the line,” according to his lawyer, Michael Orozco.

“Almost everything was at the behest of the Federal Bureau of Investigation,” Orozco said in a 45-minute telephone interview from New Jersey. “Their job was to pick up information on the responses of what he was saying and see where that led them. It was an interesting dynamic on what he was being asked to do.”

“He’s a devoted American,” added the lawyer, who claims Turner was paid “tens of thousands of dollars” for his service.

Bill Carter, an FBI spokesman, said in a telephone interview the bureau’s policy is “to neither confirm nor deny whether an individual has an association with the FBI.”

Turner’s alleged 5-year-long bureau stint ended sometime in 2007, Orozco said, the year the mischievous online group, Anonymous, briefly shuttered his site — turnerradionetwork.blogspot.com — with a denial of service attack. At the time, hackers also posted what appeared to be private e-mails between Turner and the FBI.

The e-mails are legitimate, said Orozco. The FBI approached Turner, now 47, in 2002, and he spewed rhetoric about politics, white supremacy, immigration, abortion and other hot-button issues for years in exchange for government cash.

Turner was arrested in June at his apartment in suburban New Jersey.

According to court documents, (.pdf) after a three-judge panel of the Chicago-based 7th U.S. Circuit of Appeals upheld a Chicago handgun ban, he blogged that the judges should be “killed.”

“Let me be the first to say this plainly: These judges deserve to be killed. Their blood will replenish the tree of liberty. A small price to pay to assure freedom for millions,” he wrote.

A day later he posted addresses, photos, maps and other identifying information about Chief Judge Frank Easterbrook and Judges Richard Posner and William Bauer, the authorities said. State charges are also pending in Hartford, Connecticut, where Turner is accused of inciting readers to “take up arms” against state lawmakers.

Though the alleged threats came after his FBI service ended, Orozco said Turner’s relationship with the FBI is relevant to his defense.

“It is not trivial that the very government that trained an individual where the line was is prosecuting him when he has not stepped over the line,” Orozco said.

In addition, he is banking (.pdf) on the First Amendment to save his client’s skin.

“It’s a protected political statement. He opined,” Orozco said. “He said they deserved to be killed. He did not say grab a gun and go out and do what is necessary.”

In a recent survey of 500 black Americans, only half believed that the government tells the truth about the safety and side effects of new birth control methods.
Birth control conspiracy theories still affect the use of birth control by black men and women, according to a study reported in the latest issue of the journal Health Education and Behavior.
One-third of participants of the telephone survey said that medical institutions use poor and minority people as “guinea pigs”to try out new birth control methods, according to study authors Sheryl Thorburn of Oregon State University and Laura Bogart of the Rand Corporation. Substantial numbers of those surveyed also believed that the government uses birth control as a way to control the black population in America. Almost a quarter of those surveyed agreed that “poor and minority women are sometimes forced to be sterilized by the government”, while 22 percent agreed that “the government’s family planning policies are intended to control the number of Black people.

The acting head of the Obama administration’s Civil Rights Division wants to crack down on groups that receive federal money and whose policies have a negative impact on minorities,” said Dr. King. “I can save her a lot of time. All she has to do is look at the abortion industry and its leading money maker, Planned Parenthood, to find suspicious characters.”

Obama Regulation Czar Advocated Removing People’s Organs Without Explicit Consent

Cass Sunstein, President Barack Obama’s nominee to head the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA), has advocated a policy under which the government would “presume” someone has consented to having his or her organs removed for transplantation into someone else when they die unless that person has explicitly indicated that his or her organs should not be taken.

Under such a policy, hospitals would harvest organs from people who never gave permission for this to be done.

Outlined in the 2008 book “Nudge: Improving Decisions About Health, Wealth, and Happiness,” Sunstein and co-author Richard H. Thaler argued that the main reason that more people do not donate their organs is because they are required to choose donation.

Sunstein and Thaler pointed out that doctors often must ask the deceased’s family members whether or not their dead relative would have wanted to donate his organs. These family members usually err on the side of caution and refuse to donate their loved one’s organs.

The major obstacle to increasing [organ] donations is the need to get the consent of surviving family members,” said Sunstein and Thaler.

This problem could be remedied if governments changed the laws for organ donation, they said. Currently, unless a patient has explicitly chosen to be an organ donor, either on his driver’s license or with a donor card, the doctors assume that the person did not want to donate and therefore do not harvest his organs. Thaler and Sunstein called this “explicit consent.”

They argued that this could be remedied if government turned the law around and assumed that, unless people explicitly choose not to, then they want to donate their organs – a doctrine they call “presumed consent.”

Presumed consent preserves freedom of choice, but it is different from explicit consent because it shifts the default rule. Under this policy, all citizens would be presumed to be consenting donors, but they would have the opportunity to register their unwillingness to donate,” they explained.

The difference between explicit and presumed consent is that under presumed consent, many more people “choose” to be organ donors. Sunstein and Thaler noted that in a 2003 study only 42 percent of people actively chose to be organ donors, while only 18 percent actively opted out when their consent was presumed.

In cases where the deceased’s wishes are unclear, Sunstein and Thaler argued that a “presumed consent” system would make it easier for doctors to convince families to donate their loved one’s organs.

Citing a 2006 study, Thaler and Sunstein wrote: “The next of kin can be approached quite differently when the decedent’s silence is presumed to indicate a decision to donate rather than when it is presumed to indicate a decision not to donate. This shift may make it easier for the family to accept organ donation.”

The problem of the deceased’s family is only one issue, Sunstein and Thaler said, admitting that turning the idea of choice on its head will invariably run into major political problems, but these are problems they say the government can solve through a system of “mandated choice.

Another [problem] is that it is a hard sell politically,” wrote Sunstein and Thaler. “More than a few people object to the idea of ‘presuming’ anything when it comes to such a sensitive matter. For these reasons we think that the best choice architecture for organ donations is mandated choice.

Mandated choice is a process where government forces you to make a decision – in this case, whether to opt out of being an organ donor to get something you need, such as a driver’s license.

With mandated choice, renewal of your driver’s license would be accompanied by a requirement that you check a box stating your organ donation preferences,” the authors stated. “Your application would not be accepted unless you had checked one of the boxes.

To ensure that people’s decisions align with the government policy of more organ donors, Sunstein and Thaler counseled that governments should follow the state of Illinois’ example and try to influence people by making organ donation seem popular.

First, the state stresses the importance of the overall problem (97,000 people [in Illinois] on the waiting list and then brings the problem home, literally (4,700 in Illinois),” they wrote.

Second, social norms are directly brought into play in a way that build on the power of social influences [peer pressure]: ‘87 percent of adults in Illinois feel that registering as an organ donor is the right thing to do’ and ’60 percent of adults in Illinois are registered,’” they added.

Sunstein and Thaler reminded policymakers that people will generally do what they think others are doing and what they believe others think is right. These presumptions, which almost everyone has, act as powerful factors as policymakers seek to design choices.

Recall that people like to do what most people think is right to do; recall too that people like to do what most people actually do,” they wrote. “The state is enlisting existing norms in the direction of lifestyle choices.”

Thaler and Sunstein believed that this and other policies are necessary because people don’t really make the best decisions.

The false assumption is that almost all people, almost all of the time, make choices that are in their best interest or at the very least are better than the choices that would be made [for them] by someone else,” they said.

This means that government “incentives and nudges” should replace “requirements and bans,” they argued.

Neither Sunstein nor Thaler currently are commenting on their book, a spokesman for the publisher, Penguin Group, told CNSNews.com.

In a question-and-answer section on the Amazon.com Web site, Thaler and Sunstein answered a few questions about their book.

When asked what the title “Nudge” means and why people need to be nudged, the authors stated: “By a nudge we mean anything that influences our choices. A school cafeteria might try to nudge kids toward good diets by putting the healthiest foods at front.

We think that it’s time for institutions, including government, to become much more user-friendly by enlisting the science of choice to make life easier for people and by gently nudging them in directions that will make their lives better,” they wrote.

…The human brain is amazing, but it evolved for specific purposes, such as avoiding predators and finding food,” said Thaler and Sunstein. “Those purposes do not include choosing good credit card plans, reducing harmful pollution, avoiding fatty foods, and planning for a decade or so from now. Fortunately, a few nudges can help a lot. …”

A few days ago, our country marked a pivotal milestone in the history of the American family. Forty years ago, on September 4, 1969, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) declared the new birth control pill to be “safe” for use by women to regulate births.

Forty years later, the true safety of oral contraception is still in question, mostly because the issue of birth control remains mired in politics and in the control of special interest groups who have an enormous financial and ideological interest in making sure the pill is deemed safe for use.

It has been this way from the very beginning.

The birth control pill was the dying wish of Margaret Sanger, a committed eugenicist and the founder of Planned Parenthood. She was 72 years old when she finally found someone willing to develop a “magic pill” that would prevent “undesirable” women, blacks, ethnics and the poor, from breeding.

In 1951, steroid biologist Dr. Gregory Goodwin Pincus of the Worcester Foundation for Experimental Biology in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, and Dr. John Rock, a clinical professor of gynecology at Harvard Medical School, took on the assignment with a $40,000 grant from Planned Parenthood.

Because it was already known that fertility could be controlled led by hormones, it took Pincus only a year to determine that progesterone did indeed work as an anti-ovulent in rabbits and rats. By 1956, drug maker G.D. Searle and Company, developed Enovid, the first birth control pill. But in order for the new drug to be approved by the FDA, it had to be tested on humans.

According to Robert Marshall and Charles Donovan in Blessed are the Barren, the drug was first tested in 1956 on a group of Puerto Rican women. A year later, tests were expanded to women in Haiti and Mexico City. Planned Parenthood clinician affiliates also began to field test the Pill in various U.S. cities.

Serious health problems arose almost immediately. While the pill successfully prevented ovulation, it also caused blood clots and strokes. Eleven deaths were reported but Searle maintained that there was no conclusive evidence that the Pill caused those deaths.

During the testing period, many women complained of various side effects from the Pill – everything from headaches to nausea – but their complaints were largely dismissed as exaggerations.

In spite of evidence to the contrary, Searle managed to convince the FDA that the drug was safe. In a May 11, 1960 memo, the FDA agreed, saying it based its conclusion on tests of 897 women who had used the Pill. However, the memo also admits that only 132 of those women were actually tested, some after only a year of use.

Thus, on the basis of 132 of 897 women who used the Pill for a relatively short period of time, a powerful oral steroid unique in the history of medicine was pronounced safe and beneficial for all women of childbearing age,” Marshall and Donovan write.

Much publicity followed, along with hard-sell tactics from the drug industry. “For example, Searle urged its sales people to avoid any mention of side effects like cancer and nausea and to ‘make the doctors want to use’ Enovid by portraying it as ‘the most effective contraceptive known to man’,” Marshall and Donovan write.

Safety issues would continue to dog the new pill. Reports of serious medical complications such as thromboembolism (TE) began to come from England, including a number of fatal cases. In December of 1961, it was discovered that the FDA had investigated the deaths of two Los Angeles women, and was investigating six other deaths.

When this news came to light, Searle’s stock plummeted. However, the company continued to claim that “there is no evidence to suggest this causal relationship . . . between Enovid therapy and the development of thromboembolism.”

During that same year, the FDA was actively investigating 350 cases of TE and deaths associated with Enovid and concluded that death from TE did indeed increase for Enovid users over the age of 35.

Public anxiety rose, and the FDA decided to handle it by endorsing a new study. But instead of assigning it to disinterested scientists, it was given to Searle and Planned Parenthood – the two principal promoters of the pill. Naturally, they concluded that their pill was safe. However, as Marshall and Donovan point out, their study omitted any deaths occurring in women before 24 months of use even though the vast majority of deaths were known to occur within the first six months of use.

In 1966, the FDA formed an Advisory Committee on Obstetrics and Gynecology which also declared the pill to be safe. Of the thirteen committee members and consultants that formed the group, four were directly associated with Planned Parenthood, which was, by now enjoying tremendous profits from the sale of the pill.

The situation reached a peak in the 1970’s when congressional hearings chaired by Senator Gaylord Nelson (D-WI) were convened to address safety concerns. During these hearings, Sen. Nelson said that the literature being supplied to women on the pill “is inaccurate. It is misleading 8,500,000 women in this country and it has been doing it for ten years.”

Planned Parenthood’s Dr. Alan Guttmacher [ Ex - Vice President of the American Eugenics Society] responded by saying the government had no right to tell them what to write in the literature and that such important medical information belonged to doctors, not women.

“From 1965 to 1980, approximately half of the members of the FDA’s obstetric and gynecology advisory committees were affiliated in some way with Planned Parenthood,” Marshall and Donovan write.

The love affair between the Pill, the FDA and drug companies continues to this day – and so do the safety problems.

The Couple to Couple League reports that as of the early 1990’s, there were 13.8 million women in the U.S. on the pill and 60 million worldwide (conservative numbers). There are 7.9 pill-related deaths per 100,000 women ages 15-44, which results in more than 1,000 deaths a year in the U.S. alone.

Due to the cozy relationship between the Pill, the FDA and drug companies, it remains almost impossible to get unbiased information about the safety of the birth control pill.

However, a recent study by researchers at the Leiden University Medical Center in the Netherlands and published in the August 13, 2009 issue of the British Medical Journal, found that some of the original safety concerns about the pill remain to this day.

In this study, researchers analyzed 26 different oral contraceptives in use by 3,000 women and determined that the pill can increase the risk of suffering a clot known as a deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in the leg or lungs up to fivefold.

The study found that “second generation” pills first used in the 1970s, which contained low levels of estrogen combined with a second hormone levonorgestrel, were the safest.

Newer “third generation” pills, which have been available since the 1980s, which contained a hormone called desogestrel, carried twice the risk of DVT than the second generation medication.

New “gimmick” versions of the pill are also wreaking havoc on womens bodies.

For instance, Norplant, an injectable contraceptive that remains in the body for five years, was pulled off the market in 2002 for causing many problems such as ovarian cysts, hair loss and dangerous blood clots. Tens of thousands of lawsuits were filed against American Home Products, the manufacturer, but the company insists they did nothing wrong.

Studies released in 2004 regarding Depo Privera, another injectable version of the pill, found that many women who used this form of birth control suffer a serious loss of bone density which leads to osteoporosis. This loss of bone density appears to be permanent and does not return to normal after discontinued use.

Pills such as Mircette and Orth Tri-Cyclen, which contain a compound called desogestrel, are also the target of class action lawsuits from women who suffered blood clots with girls as young as 16 having died from their use

The trendy Ortho Evra patch, which delivers the same hormones as the pill through a patch worn on the skin, has also proven deadly. Introduced in 2002, it caused 17 deaths and dozens of adverse reactions in women in just the first two years after its introduction. It remains on the market.

Yasmin or “Yaz”, designed for women who have trouble with pill side effects, contains a synthetic progestin known as drospirenone. According to a lawsuit recently filed against Bayer, the manufacturer, more than 50 women died after taking the drug in the four years since it was introduced, some as young as 17 years old.

The FDA also approved emergency contraception, known as Plan B, which contains unusually high doses of the same stroke and blood-clotting hormone found in lower doses of the pill which require a prescription. Not only was it approved, but it is now available over-the-counter without a doctor’s prescription to women age 17 or older.

The underlying problem is a total lack of honesty,” concludes Judie Brown, president of the American Life League. “Women are regarded as human guinea pigs with no right to be fully informed. Much of the literature about the birth control pill and other hormonal contraceptives is deceptive, because the federal government has no interest in exposing disturbing facts about them.”

Birth control pills are treated differently than other drugs with life-threatening side effects, she says. Perhaps this is because the pill permits men to engage in sexual promiscuity without responsibility, or because the pill is marketed as liberating women from the fear of pregnancy, she speculates. But the bottom line is that the government is not doing enough to protect women.

Apparently, the government’s interest in helping to line the pockets of pharmaceutical companies and pill-pushing organizations such as Planned Parenthood trumps its interest in telling the truth. Until this tragic situation changes, there will be no accurate accounting of exactly how many women the birth control pill has killed.”

CZARS: ARE THEY CONSTITUTIONAL?

As you search through my blog – you will see that we have written on a few of the administration’s Czars. Such as Van Jones and John P. Holdren.

I came across this interesting post CZARS: ARE THEY CONSTITUTIONAL? It was written by Devvy Kidd who authored the booklets, Why A Bankrupt America and Blind Loyalty; 2 million copies sold. Devvy appears on radio shows all over the country as well as her own; ran for Congress and is a highly sought after public speaker.

She left the Republican Party in 1996 and has been an independent voter ever since. Devvy says that she isn’t left, right or in the middle; she is a constitutionalist who believes in the supreme law of the land, not some political party.

The author acknowledges her work would not have been possible without the “generosity” of the Rockefeller Foundation. You can see history laid out right before your eyes. The quest for global domination under communism isn’t dead, folks.

Kevin Hornbuckle was elected to the city council in Eugene, Oregon, in 1992, as a registered Democrat and then came out of the closet to proudly announce in an interview: “I’d simply point out that Communists in the United States are fighting for health care, housing and jobs as a human right. I’m proud to be a communist.”..

You can’t fight your enemy if you can’t identify who they are and their battle plan.

Are these czars constitutional? That means does Obama/Soetoro have any legal authority to “appoint” these people?

No, he does not. Remember when new world order minion, Papa Bush, appointed Bill Bennett his new “drug czar”? Where were conservatives then? Why weren’t they demanding Bennett be sent on his way because Bush had no legal authority to appoint this czar? Now, “conservative” Republicans in Congress are making lots of noise about Obama’s czars. Same old hypocrites…

Last February, Senator Robert Byrd, to his credit, sent the usurper a letter admonishing him for all these czars. Why? Byrd patiently explained to the hot shot lawyer in the White HOuse that they violated “both the constitutional system of checks and balances and the constitutional separation of powers, and is a clear attempt to evade congressional oversight.” I can find no reference (on the Internet) that Byrd raised an objection to Papa’s Bush’s unconstitutional appointment of Bill Bennett. However, since Obama has “appointed” more czars than any past ruler of Russia, I guess Byrd feels the senate is being pushed aside.

What can be done?

This is the crux of the matter. Individuals and businesses must fight back. How? If any decision, recommendation, policy or otherwise is issued that affects you or your business, a lawsuit must be filed.

Health Care Debate: Heat and Light ?

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed a phrase being thrown out against those who protest President Obama’s Government take-over of health care? “HEAT and LIGHT”

This morning, after watching both Fox and Friends and NBC’s Today Show, I listened to interviews with the White House Press Secretary, Robert Gibbs discussing Obama’s attempt to salvage Health Care and his speech this evening. Despite the fact that Gibbs danced around the question of whether Obama will compromise on the ” Public Option” …Gibbs used a phrase in both interviews which I found interesting.

In referring to those who oppose the “public Option” and the plan in general, he called the effort, “HEAT AND LIGHT“. Perhaps I am out of the loop, but what the heck does he mean by “HEAT AND LIGHT“..

I have a suspicion, that while he is speaking to the Press, he is throwing out “Global Warming” terms, such as this “HEAT AND LIGHT” phrase.

So, I googled, “HEAT AND LIGHT” and Global Warming and discovered that it is a negative used in that circle.

Does anyone know the origin of this phrase and why it is being used to describe those who object to the President’s Health Care Bill? Please Advise…

When I was searching this phrase I came across an interesting statement describing Russia’s system of Czars. In Everybody’s Magazine,from 1905: ” …the Czar can do as he pleases. He is above all laws…The Czar indeed directs that a ministerial bill beaten by a two-thirds vote in both houses shall be withdrawn.” Even then the Czar may authorize the Minister to reintroduce the measure in The Ridgeway Company, 1905, P. 567 found in Google Books Online.

Federal Courts Have Commonly Read Abortion Into Medicaid’s ‘Mandatory Categories’

Since the 1970s, federal courts have regularly interpreted the “mandatory categories of care” within Medicaid to include abortion and thus mandate abortion coverage. That judicial interpretation of Medicaid will be adopted by courts in interpreting federal health care legislation, unless abortion is expressly excluded.

In addition to the leading case of Planned Parenthood Affiliates of Michigan v. Engler—where the Sixth Circuit held that “abortion fits within many of the mandatory care categories, including ‘family planning,’ ‘outpatient services,’ ‘inpatient services,’ and ‘physicians’ services.’ 73 F.3d 634, 636 (6th Cir. 1996)—at least six other circuit courts (the First, Third, Fifth, Seventh, Eighth, and Tenth) have held that abortion is covered under Medicaid (unless there is a specific statutory exclusion like the Hyde Amendment). Some, like the Sixth Circuit, have specifically held that abortion is covered under the broad “mandatory categories of care” including “family planning” within Medicaid (Title XIX of the Social Security Act, 42 USC 1396d(a)).

The First Circuit, in Preterm, Inc. v. Dukakis held that abortion is covered by Medicaid and implicitly concluded within the mandatory Medicaid categories. 591 F.2d 121, 125 (1st Cir. 1979).

The Third Circuit, in Roe v. Casey, noted with agreement that “[t]he district court took note of the fact that standard abortion procedures ‘involve most, if not all’ of the types or classes of services which are to be furnished to the categorically needy” within Medicaid. Roe v. Casey, 623 F.2d 829, 832 (3rd Cir. 1980).

The Fifth Circuit, in Hope Medical Group for Women v. Edwards, held that a state statute limiting Medicaid-funded abortion procedures was “inconsistent with the broad objective of Title XIX to provide needed medical care to qualified recipients.” 63 F.3d 418, 428 (5th Cir. 1995). The court stated, “[a]lthough Title XIX does not specifically include abortion as a mandatory service, the parties concede that abortion services fall under several of the eight broad categories of medical services mandated by the Act, including inpatient hospital services, outpatient hospital services, physician’s services, and family planning services.” Id. at 425.

The Seventh Circuit, in Zbaraz v. Quern, agreed with the First Circuit’s decision in Preterm “that limiting Medicaid assistance to life-threatening abortions “violate[s] the purposes of the Act and discriminate[s] in a proscribed fashion” 596 F.2d 196, 199 (7th Cir. 1979).

The Eighth Circuit in 1980 held that “[the Medicaid mandatory categories] include medical procedures to induce abortions.” Hodgson v. Board of County Com’rs, Hennepin County, 614 F.2d 601, 607 (8th Cir. 1980). And in Little Rock Family Planning Services, P.A. v. Dalton, the court held that “[a] state plan must cover medical services that a person’s physician certifies are “medically necessary.” 60 F.3d 497, 499 (8th Cir. 1995). Though the Dalton court admitted that “[Title XIX] does not identify any specific medical procedures, whether they are Caesarean sections, transfusions, bypass surgery, or abortions.” Id. at 499, it concluded that “[b]ecause abortion falls within several of these mandated categories [of medical service], a medically necessary abortion is a mandatory covered service.” Id.

The Tenth Circuit, in Hern v. Beye, held that “[a]bortion falls under several … ‘mandatory coverage’ categories, including ‘inpatient hospital services,’ 42 U.S.C. § 1396d(a)(1), ‘outpatient hospital services,’ id. § 1396d(a)(2)(A), ‘family planning services,’ id. § 1396d(a)(4)(C), and ‘physicians’ services furnished by a physician,’ id. § 1396d(a)(5)(A).” 57 F.3d 906, 911 (10th Cir. 1995).

In addition, several federal district courts have read abortion into Medicaid.

In Doe v. Busbee, the court concluded that “[i]t is clear that an abortion is a medical procedure which falls within the five general categories set out in Title XIX.” 471 F.Supp. 1326, 1331 (N.D. Ga. 1979).

In Smith v. Rasmussen, the court held that “[a]bortions . . . fall within several of Medicaid’s mandatory categories of care.” 57 F.Supp.2d 736, 755 (N.D. Iowa, 1999).

In Planned Parenthood Affiliates of Ohio v. Rhodes, the court broadly held that “[t]he ‘promotion’ of abortion, whether it consist of counseling, encouraging, referring, assisting or even performing medically necessary abortions is included in the five general categories.” Planned Parenthood Affiliates of Ohio v. Rhodes, 477 F.Supp. 529, 540 (E.D.Ohio, 1979).

Finally, in reading these decisions, it must be understood that a “medically necessary” abortion is—under the Supreme Court’s abortion doctrine—whatever an abortion provider, in his/her personal, subjective judgment, determines it to be. The terms “necessary” and “medically necessary” are virtually synonymous, because both vest the abortion provider, in his or her subjective judgment, with complete discretion to determine their meaning. As the lower federal courts have applied the terms, an abortion is “necessary” because a woman requests it, and it becomes “medically” necessary when the doctor agrees to it. Consequently, when these two terms are combined—“medically necessary” to preserve the “health” of the woman”—a “medically necessary” abortion means any abortion a provider agrees to perform for any reason.

King Calls For Abortion Investigation By Department Of Justice

The niece of Martin Luther King, Jr. is calling for the Obama administration to investigate the racist implications of abortion.

Dr. Alveda King, Director of African American Outreach for Priests for Life, asked the Department of Justice to investigate Planned Parenthood citing a large number of black children who are lost to abortion. Because abortion providers, such as Planned Parenthood, accept federal tax dollars, Dr. King argues an investigation should be conducted to make sure racist policies are not being advanced.

Black Americans, who represent one-eighth of the U.S. population, constitute 37 percent of America’s 1.2 million annual abortions. In other words, of the 45 million abortions conducted between 1973 and 2005, 17 million black children were terminated.

I would say wiping out one-quarter of the African American population qualifies as a negative impact on a minority group,” said Dr. King. “There is no greater violator of civil rights than the abortion industry and if the Obama Justice Department is serious about investigating discrimination perpetrated by recipients of federal money, it should start with the billion dollar abortion giant, Planned Parenthood.”

The issue of abortion and race has long been an elephant in Planned Parenthood’s waiting room. Media outlets rarely report on the correlation and abortion proponents dismiss such charges as right-wing rhetoric.

But is there a correlation between a woman’s race and the likelihood she will be sitting in a Planned Parenthood surgery room?

Black woman are five times more likely to abort their children than white women and two times more likely than Hispanic women, according to the Guttmacher Institute. The institute is a leading collector of reproductive health statistics.

The abortion rate among whites is 11 abortions per 1000 white women. The children of minorities, however, fare worse. Twenty-eight out of every 1000 Hispanic woman will have an abortion and 50 out of every 1000 black women will do the same.

The acting head of the Obama administration’s Civil Rights Division wants to crack down on groups that receive federal money and whose policies have a negative impact on minorities,” said Dr. King. “I can save her a lot of time. All she has to do is look at the abortion industry and its leading money maker, Planned Parenthood, to find suspicious characters.”

Death Panels Already Here?

With all the hype today about what is and isn’t in the health care bill, a lot of people are worried that they are either going to be paying for abortion, losing their current health coverage, or be submitted before some “death panel” for their medical decisions. But I wouldn’t worry about the future of death panels, they are already here.

Flashback to May of 2009. In an article at CBS News by Jeff Emanuel, it is revealed that “In March, Georgia, Florida, and Alabama joined in an appeal of a 2008 U.S. District Court ruling that a patient’s physician was better positioned – and better qualified-to make decisions about that patient’s medical treatment than state bureaucrats.” Did you catch that? Let me state it again: THREE states have filed an APPEAL of a COURT ruling that a patient’s PHYSICIAN is better qualified to make decisions about the PATIENTS medical treatment than STATE BUREAUCRATS.

The case comes from Georgia, and is based around Callie Moore, a disabled teenage girl who suffered a stroke in utero that has left her with cerebral palsy and mental retardation, among other conditions. She requires around the clock care, payment for which has been divided up between Medicare, state funded health insurance plans, and the family.

“In 2007, citing a disagreement with Callie’s attending physician over just how much care she needed, the state cut the portion of Callie’s care it was willing to pay for by 15%, to 84 hours a week, over the objections of her doctor.”

So, the STATE decided that they were wasting too much money on keeping this girl alive, so THEY decided to cut back on her funding. Still think death panels are a myth? Let’s read on.

“Callie’s mother filed suit, arguing the state had no right to contradict the orders of Callie’s personal physician and limit her treatment. However, Georgia officials argued Callie’s care was subject to rationing, as the state bureaucrats’ need to ensure Medicaid resources were allocated “fairly” superseded her doctor’s care prescription or her personal medical needs.”

In June of 2008, a district judge found that the level of medical care should be left up to the decision of the physician, not the state. However: “Rhonda Medows, commissioner of Georgia’s Department of Community Health, immediately appealed the ruling to the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Florida and Alabama, which fall under the 11th Circuit’s jurisdiction and will have to abide by its ruling, filed an amicus brief with the Atlanta-based court.”

So let’s get this straight. A person with the Georgia Department of Community Health is getting in between the level of care a physician says is required, and how much the state is willing to pay for? And we are crazy for thinking that this could take place on a national level? WAKE UP PEOPLE!

LIE ! President Obama, you’ve been “called out” on Health Care

Okay- I have something to say about the President’s speech last night. First of all, he claims we need the “public Option” because some companies will not do the right thing and carry those with preexisting conditions. Come on- first he said that the proposal would by law require companies to do this, but then he said we need a “Plan B” the so-called “Public Option” if they do not. Doesn’t that scream to you that the government is more interested in controlling individuals than making big corporations obey the law???

Here is another disturbing comment by President Obama:

Now, even if we provide these affordable options, there may be those — especially the young and the healthy — who still want to take the risk and go without coverage. There may still be companies that refuse to do right by their workers by giving them coverage. The problem is, such irresponsible behavior costs all the rest of us money. If there are affordable options and people still don’t sign up for health insurance, it means we pay for these people’s expensive emergency room visits. If some businesses don’t provide workers health care, it forces the rest of us to pick up the tab when their workers get sick, and gives those businesses an unfair advantage over their competitors. And unless everybody does their part, many of the insurance reforms we seek — especially requiring insurance companies to cover preexisting conditions — just can’t be achieved.

And that’s why under my plan, individuals will be required to carry basic health insurance — just as most states require you to carry auto insurance.

Wow – where do I start? ” The problem is, such irresponsible behavior costs all the rest of us money…If there are affordable options and people still don’t sign up for health insurance, it means we pay for these people’s expensive emergency room visits.” Let us really examine these words and decide if we really want this to be the ideology behind Government run Health Care. If “irresponsible behavior” causes prices to increase and we, and the rest of us pay for it, and that is why EVERYONE – even the healthy MUST carry insurance – than couldn’t the government dictate that “Smoking” causing increased prices or “Obesity” or “Immoral sexual behavior” ? Be real – we are accepting a “Papa Government, taking care of the serfs” mentality. Do we really want the government to decide what is “Irresponsible behavior”?

As for FORCING everyone to have insurance, how will that impact families? Suppose that a family is barely able to put food on the table and now they will be “REQUIRED” to carry insurance on all members. Won’t that force that family to go under financially? Affordable or not the insurance “requirement” will bankrupt them. Doesn’t the President care about this? Yes, we are “required” to carry auto insurance, but, if we cannot afford it , guess what – WE DO NOT HAVE TO DRIVE !!!!!!!

This plan offers no choice- you must get the package or get a fine or whatever the penalties will be. And what about the illegals – will they be “required” to carry insurance? They have to have auto insurance, don’t they? If they get stopped without it, their car is towed. So, when they flock to our hospital emergency rooms, shouldn’t they provide personal insurance, or will we continue to pay their costs? Then, what happens when they can not afford the private plan? Obama said that this “public Option” will not cover them, of course it won’t, the “public Option” requires that the “Purchase” insurance, we plan on continuing to just give it to them.

Let’s discuss the “Public Option”. I think Obama knows that many college kids and families will be forced to carry insurance and because they cannot afford it, they will buy into the government plan. Once the government has you as a young person – they have you for life ! So, after a few years, more and more will be in the public plan and less will be in private care, causing prises to rise for those who remain.

Now, does the President really believe that the American Government will be able to run anything which is “self sufficient?” Come on, people WAKE UP!!!!

This will cost us trillions and the spiral effect will be heavy taxes on those of us already responsible enough to carry personal insurance. The “Single Payer” – will be you and me ! Make no doubt – we will carry the burden of this plan. Now, I am a charitable person, and I will help anyone I can, but I do not want the government to tax me into charity and that is exactly what will happen.

Remember that they have the “Cap and Trade” bill coming down the pike, the “Stimulus bill” , which has had little effect and put us on thr brink of a falling dollar, and “Pork Barrel Spending” out the wazoo – we are a nation going BROKE !

If President Obama wants every American to “be responsible” so we do not “raise costs for the rest of us” I suggest they begin with Congress and the White House. Costs are going UP UP UP, because the Congress for several administrations: Republican and Democrat have been spending like there is no tomorrow.

So, I call YOU Out Mr. President – why don’t you get YOUR HOUSE IN ORDER before you try and fix MY HOUSE? Why can’t Congress get their spending under control first, so our taxes will go down and we can afford health care?

One more point, the coverage for abortion. There is no language in the bill which prohibits the use of the “Public Option” to pay for abortions. I suppose President Obama wants us to believe him on his say-so only, despite the fact that most in the Congress right now pander heavily to a pro-abortion industry, including the President. All of his appointments have been “Pro-choice” and he has promised to lift all “abortion restrictions”, but, alas, he will not allow this plan to pay for abortions? BUNK ! Let’s be clear, several amendments have been offered to specifically state that no dollars can go to cover abortions in the Health Care Plan, anytime anywhere. If the President is so insistent that this not happen, than why doesn’t he tell the Democrats to approve these amendments? Instead, every effort to state and clear the air on this issue of abortions has been struck down !

All we have to do is listen to what the President said to the nation’s largest ABORTION PROVIDER, when he spoke to Planned Parenthood, during his campaign:

Brutal murder of pro-life activist exposes epidemic of pro-choice terrorism and violence

Last week a pro-life activist was gunned down on a public sidewalk by a violent pro-choicer who hated his message. James Pouillon was standing in front of a Michigan High School, where he had stood peacefully many times before, carrying a pro-life sign. The Shiawassee County Prosecutor’s office has charged pro-choicer, Harlan J. Drake, 33, of Owosso with two counts of first-degree, premeditated murder.

Pouillon’s sign depicted a picture of a baby and simply said “LIFE” and for this he was brutally killed.

Police reported that Drake was ticked off at Pouillon’s pro-life message, so he hunted him down in a killing spree, drove up next to the man who had 2 leg braces and carried an oxygen tank, and opened fire. This is the pro-choice response to a non-violent protest, this is their way of bringing “peace” and “Common ground” to the abortion issue. This type of brutal murder , firing several bullets into the body of a loving father and a husband , is the violent pro-choice response to the simple pro-life message: “LIFE“.

Perhaps the years of pro-choice rhetoric has finally caught up with them. The media is not without fault here as well. Even today as I read an AP story, rather than pointing back to the thousands of incidents of angry pro-choice violence against pro-lifers, unborn children, abortion patients, etc. they are using the death of this pro-life martyr, to once again bring up the shooting of an abortion doctor from Wichita. Never in the history of this issue, has the media ever repeated the litany of deaths of the women at the hands of abortion doctors.

Deaths such as Pamela Colson, who bled to death as she left a Pensacola abortion clinic, where she was a patient. The clinic botched her abortion so bad and then sent her on the way- to die on her car as she drove home. You have heard a lot about Pensacola and an abortionist murders, but the media says nothing about Colson’s abortion death ! Why? Because the media is Pro-abortion and they will go to large extents to hide the brutal truth of abortion from the public.

The media also continues to hide the fact that pro-life people are targeted daily for abuse, violence, and now murder. The media, rather than doing their homework and being “un-biased” on this issue- takes all their talking points from the National Abortion Federation and Planned Parenthood – both organizations who make millions of dollars from abortion.

Rather than mention the death of Late-Term abortionist Tiller – they could detail the violent attack in New Jersey of pro-lifer George Krail who was run over by pro-choicers entering the South Jersey Women’s Center run by abortionist: George Danioff. The media could report that when pro-lifer George Krail was laying in pain on the sidewalk after the attack, and no one inside this “Medical Abortion Office” rendered him any assistance according to Krail’s Wife, Tina. It was pro-choicers who violently used their car to break George’s right leg in four places , four of George’s ribs and inflicted several other injuries to his ankle. Why doesn’t the media repeat this violent pro-choice story?

The media could also report the death of abortion patient, Laura Smith who died as a result of her abortion at the Women’s Health Center, in Hyannis, MA. where abortionist Rapin Osathanondh did the botched procedure. During the abortion, Laura’s heart, pulse and blood pressure were not monitored, and there was no oxygen source in the room. The media could report how abortionist Osathanondh, and an office worker who had no training in resuscitative measures, and were only ones with Laura after the abortion. They could report how after the abortion, Osathanondh called Smith’s name to wake her, and when he received no response, he failed to timely initiate a call to 911, according to Laura’s mom, Eileen. Smith was pronounced dead by the time she arrived at Cape Cod Hospital. Eileen reported that Osathanondh lied repeatedly to its staff about the incident, telling them he gave Smith oxygen when he didn’t, monitored her pulse when he didn’t, claimed he and his assistant were certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support when they weren’t, and said he hadn’t left the room from the time he began CPR until the ambulance arrived.

They could report how Carolina Gutierrez, bought the lie that abortion is a safe, legal procedure. It took her six weeks to die from an infection so bad after her abortion that she developed gangrene.

Yes, these are the faces of PRO-CHOICE AMERICA ! And this is but a drop in the bucket. There are thousands of such stories ranging from brutal attacks of pro-choice boyfriends who kill their pro-life girlfriends because they refuse to have abortions, to pro-choice activists who attack pro-lifers, vandalize their property, and threaten them constantly, to abortion doctors who have sexually assaulted their abortion patients ( google: Dr. Brian Finkel or Dr. Nabil Ghali to name a few) to those who have cared so little for these women that they left the abortion mills in plastic bags, or died later from neglect.

My heart and prayers go out to the Pouillon family. He was a martyr and his message is worth listening to. I hope and pray that he did not die in vain and that the media will begin to report the truth regarding pro-choice violence I call upon the National Abortion Federation and Planned Parenthood to renounce this type of violence and I ask them to reign in their rhetoric which led to this murder. I call for the President to release Federal Marshal to all pro-life facilities for protection and to take seriously the threats that pro-lifers get on a daily basis. I call for a nationwide investigation into the possibility that this murder may be part of a national conspiracy to murder pro-lifers.

Abortionist beats wife

In 1999, Abortionist Neville W. Duncan was placed on 18 months’ probation, sentenced to 30 days in jail and fined $250 after pleading no contest to charges that he beat his wife. He was also arrested when police found crack cocaine in his pocket.

Duncan was arrested after allegedly punching his wife in his car, then pinning her to the ground and slapping her after she climbed out the window of the vehicle, according to Milwaukee Journal Sentinel article, (Doctor sentenced to 30 days in jail -01-15-1999).

News reports indicated that Duncan served time for contempt of court, when he failed to provide the required child support he owed.

Abortionist guilty of murdering wife

December 11, 2001, The Oklahoman detailed the murder trial of abortionist John Baxter Hamilton. Hamilton performed abortions at the Oklahoma Clinic for Women in Oklahoma City, OK.

Hamilton was found guilty in the Valentine’s Day killing of his wife, Susan Hamilton, 55. Her nude body was found lying in blood in the master bathroom of the Hamiltons’ Quail Creek home, her skull fractured and face disfigured. She had been choked with a necktie and beaten to death.

News Reports of the case indicated that Hamilton’s wife had suspected the abortionist of having an affair with a topless dancer who may have been a patient of the doctor’s. His wife was considering leaving him and talking of divorce two days before the murder.

Authorities noted that after Hamilton murdered his wife he then called 911 to report the death. Authorities found the woman dead on the couple’s master bedroom floor.

He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole in the murder of his wife and was ordered to pay $11,104 for the cost of his incarceration. Following his murder conviction, Oklahoma and Tennessee revoked his medical license and on September 19, 2003, Hamilton voluntarily surrendered his Georgia license.

Abortion doctor accused of killing wife

On December 15,2006, the Hattiesburg American reported in an article, (Doctor pleads not guilty to killing his wife ), that abortionist Malachy DeHenre was arrested after a new indictment accused him of shooting his wife, Dr. Nyasha DeHenre, in the head in their Laurel home in 1997. At his first trial in 1999, the jury voted 11-1 to acquit him, resulting in a hung jury.

According to a WDAM News 7 news report, (Doctor to face 2nd trial for wife’s slaying: 12-18-2006), DeHenre is also being charged with the rape of a then 21-year-old patient when he was practicing at the Family Health Care Center in 1992.

DeHenre has a long history of trouble in his performance of abortions and treatment of women. He performed abortions in Alabama before he lost his license to practice in that state, according to a Washington Post story , (Alabama Abortion Clinic to Stay Shut: 6-15-2006).

The Post reported that DeHenre formerly worked for the Summit abortion clinic in Alabama which, was closed in 2006 after state inspectors found them dispensing RU-486 without a doctor present. The article says that in December of 2004, the Medical Licensure Commission of Alabama indefinitely suspended the license of Malachy M. DeHenre. The commission ruled that DeHenre’s conduct in four cases from 2000 to 2003 was “immoral, unprofessional or dishonorable” and that he endangered his patients through “gross malpractice.”
In March of 2005, DeHenre’s license was indefinitely suspended by the Mississippi Medical Board. It had been temporarily suspended in 2004 after one of DeHenre’s Alabama abortion patients died. A 2004, Clarion Ledger report entitled, Abortion death cited in action against doctor Ala. suspends license of Jackson abortion practitioner, reveals that the Alabama State Board of Medical Examiners found that the patient was discharged from Summit Medical Center 20 minutes after having an abortion on Nov. 25, 2003. Less than six hours later, her husband contacted the medical center and reported that his wife had abdominal pain and a low temperature.

She was taken by ambulance to a Birmingham hospital, where she died. She sustained an unrecognized uterine perforation during the abortion, the board said. “Subsequent hemorrhagic shock led to her ultimate demise,” according to the board’s report to the licensure commission.

According to the Clarion Ledger, (Suspended doc: Didn’t like doing 35,000 abortions: 3-18-2005), after his suspension in Mississippi, DeHenre said that he did not like performing some 35,000 abortions, but did so because he needed the work. “I ask for your forgiveness,” Dehenre said. “I don’t want to be an outcast. I want to be among the medical community.” The Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure told the press that they received “more than one complaint, ” in the case.

After DeHenre’s 2006 arrest he was denied his bond request and will be held in the Jones County Adult Detention Facility in Ellisville until his trial, which will likely be held in the spring of 2007.

The confrontation happened in Neuquen, Argentina, on Aug 17, 2008.

Dr Nelson Kraucak was charged with battery after knocking down & kicking me & trying to steal my camera at James Scott Pendergraft’s notorious Orlando Women’s Center abortion clinic.

When I was attacked by an angry aborting father named Dr Nelson Kraucak at Orlando Women’s Center abortion clinic on August 29, 2007, there was no one other than the sidewalk missionaries to capture the assault on video. Thankfully, we had noticed Dr K’s menacing behavior & had taken our camera out & turned it on in hopes of avoiding violence. However, it didn’t stop the doctor, who flew into a rage and came after me. Kraucak knocked me to the ground & kicked me repeatedly as a terrified Mary Jo screamed for help.

I was shocked when I read the police report at the state attorney’s office. It was written by Orlando Police Officer Charles Mays, the OPD security on duty at Orlando Women’s Center at the time of the attack. Although the perpetrator, Dr Kraucak, was still inside the clinic with his aborting wife . Dr Kraucak was not even QUESTIONED by OPD officer Charles Mays! Could this be because a ‘conflict of interest’ prevented the Orlando police officer, whose sworn duty is to protect, from wanting to do anything to interfere with the ‘business’ of the late-term labor & delivery abortion that was just getting started? (22 week abortions are $2500, 23 week abortions are $2700, 24 week abortions are $2900. One of the illegal late-term abortions that Pendergraft committed at Orlando Women’s Center cost the 7 month pregnant mother a whopping $12,000!

The state attorney’s office filed battery charges against Dr. Nelson Kraucak on December 21, 2007. The Orange County clerk’s office will take the charges that have been filed, clock them in & assign the arraignment date. Dr K will be served a subpoena & he will be demanded to appear at the arraignment. If Dr K or his attorney “fails to appear,” then a warrant will be issued for his arrest. The new case number for the battery charges against Dr Nelson Kraucak is: 2007-MM-148789

Our hope is that Dr K will be served with the subpoena soon. A tape of my frantic 911 call is available at Orlando Police Department.

In September of 2009 Pro-life activist Johnny Wallace, 69, was attacked on by two women as he stood holding pro-life signs in front of City Hall in Flagstaff, Arizona. The women, both 48, yelled profanities at him, attempted to take his signs and wrestled him to the ground.

On the day of the attack, Wallace, who daily protests in front of City Hall, held two text-only signs. The signs said, “Abortion kills more black Americans in four days than the Klan killed in 150 years,” and the other, “Life begins at conception and ends at Planned Parenthood.

Radical pro-choicers, Denise Redsteer and Laura Chapman were the two women who attacked the elderly Wallace who was viciously knocked to the ground as he attempted to protect his signs from one of the women. The other woman then joined in the struggle.

Wallace was treated for minor injuries after the incident by medics called to the scene. Police arrested and charged both women with misdemeanor counts of disturbing the peace and criminal damage.

In November of 2009, Denise Redsteer, 48, accepted a “deferred prosecution” in Flagstaff Municipal Court, said City Prosecutor Lisa Stankovich.

Deferred prosecution does not admit guilt, and if Redsteer successfully completes the terms of her probation, the charges against her will be dismissed.

Stankovich said that Redsteer has also agreed to pay a $150 prosecution fee and not commit any criminal offenses during the probationary period.

Memorial for pro-lifer Jim Pouillon gunned down by violent pro-choicer

With only a day’s notice, nearly 300 people attended the Sunday, Sept. 13th vigil for slain pro-lifer Jim Pouillon. With several reporters and TV cameras present, hymns were sung, prayers were offered, testimonials were proclaimed and Scripture readings declared. Scripture readings included: Isaiah 50: 4-9, Psalm 116 and Mark 8: 27-38: “Whoever wishes to save his life will lose it and whosever loses his life for my sake and that of the gospel will save it.”

These words describe perfectly what happened to dedicated pro-lifer and devout Christian Jim Pouillon. Your CPLS director stated: “Jim was killed because he held the photo of a victim of abortion. Anyone who holds such a sign stands next to Jesus as he hangs on the Cross. To stand with such a sign is to place yourself on the side of the outcast, the abandoned, the unwanted, the misunderstood–and in that way you you stand next to Jesus on the Cross. No matter what anyone wants to say about Jim’s death–especially those who support abortion– he died for his faith and he died for the cause of life. That is the meaning of his death. He was a voice for the outcast and now his blood had been mixed with theirs.
His death must cause us to re-commit ourselves to the pro-life cause. We must become more generous, be willing to take risks and make sacrifices–allow ourselves to be spent for this cause. The pro-life cause is worth living for–it is worth dying for.

Frank Samson– the brave motorist who saw the gunman, Harlan Drake–followed him in his car after he shot Jim- and wrote down Drake’s license plate number. He turned over the information to the police who captured Drake before he was able to kill his third intended victim. Thus, Mr. Samson saved a life that day.

OBITUARY

James Lawrence Pouillon, age 63, of Owosso, died Friday, September 11th, 2009 at Memorial Healthcare Center. Private family services have been held with cremation following.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Willman Field (OHS Stadium), 301 South Dewey Street, Owosso with Pastor David L. Knox officiating.

James was born in Ovid, Michigan on March 30, 1946, the son of Laurence and Kathryn (Rourke) Pouillon. He attended Owosso Public Schools, graduating in 1965. Jim was named captain of the football team his senior
year. Jim was married to the former Mary Lou Kadera of Owosso who was killed in a traffic accident in 2001. Following graduation, Jim enlisted in the U.S. Army. Taking his basic training at Ft. Knox, KY, and then
serving in Vietnam as a radio operator. During his tour, he was wounded by shrapnel in the shoulder. Although presented with the Purple Heart, he refused to accept it. Returning home Jim studied briefly at Michigan
State University. He then was hired by GM and worked at and retiring from Buick Motors/Flint in the crib. He was a member of the UAW, Operation Rescue and the US Taxpayer Party. He loved the outdoors, be it hunting,
fishing or in his garden. Jim also coached in the KICS football program.

James is survived by 4 children, Dr. James M. Silence: Pro-Lifer gunned down- History of violence against women exposed !

As I stated in a previous BLOG, where I list other incidents of pro-choice violence, the recent murder of a pro-life activist has been just a blip on the radar screen of the news media. Even Fox News has drooped the story, failing to report the thousands of threats, assaults, attacks, and illegal activities by pro-choice and abortion activists. Below is some historical perspective on just how sleezy the abortion industry really is. A little effort by the news medias – INCLUDING FOX , Glenn Beck, and Bill O’Reilly- would blow the lid off the illegal activities going on under the guise of “Reproductive Rights”!

Here are a few more examples:
Unsuspecting Ghanaian abortion patient, Eunice Agabgaa entered Y&P Medical (abortion) Clinic in New York. Dr. Abram Zelikman allegedly left the clinic while Eunice was in recovery from an abortion Zelikman had performed. Unfortunately the abortion was so bad, it resulted in her death. A friend who was present at the clinic testified that she pleaded with the clinic staff to call paramedics once she noticed Eunice’s bloodied body and poor vital signs. her friend stated, ” I felt if I hadn’t been there they would have wrapped her dead body and thrown it in the garbage.“. New York Newsday 7/9/89

The California Medical Board , investigated actions by abortion doc: Dr. Tati Okereke, A/K/A High Street Medical. In 1982, Dr. Okereke was accused of fondling a female patients breast “without medical justification”. He was also accused of engaging in sexual intercourse with her without her consent. This lovely abortion doctor was also accused of injecting patients with anesthetics , then engaging in sexual intercourse without the permission of the woman. ( Lovely defender of “reproductive rights, huh?). One woman testified to the medical board that she could not move any muscles during this ordeal, but just kept crying “What are you doing?” Another patient testified that after Okereke examined her vagina that he licked his finger. She said the doctor tried to pay her off to keep her quiet following the incident. Okereke’s Medical License was revoked in November of 1989. (SOURCE: California Medical Board case #11593)

In March of 1993, Abortion doctor Nareshkumar Patel of Shawnee, Oklahoma was accused of Forcible Oral Sodomy and sexual battery by a patient he was treating after hours in his clinic. Patel was also the focus of a controversy in 1992 when several aborted fetuses from his clinic were found partially burned in an open field owned by Patel. Officials could not cite any law that prohibited the burning of aborted fetuses in that manner and those charges were dropped. The Mississippi Board of Medical Licensure revoked the license of abortionist, Milan D. Chepko in 1991. Dr. Chepko, who performed abortions at the New Women Medical Center in Jackson, MS was indicted by a Federal Grand Jury (Case # J89-00064 W) involving interstate transportation of a VHS cassette showing minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct. The tape contained scenes with children as young as four years old in sexual conduct with adult males and females. One incident allegedly involved children and adults engaged in sodomy. In 1990 the Florida Medical Board passed a disciplinary action against male abortion clinic nurse Barry A. Hill. Hill was employed at the Today’s Woman Medical Center of Coral Gables, FL , a South Florida abortion clinic chain owned by abortionist: Dr. Vladimar Rosenthal. On October 26, 1989 Florida’s Department of Health and Human Services inspector Diane Robie discovered two envelopes in the abortion clinic containing pictures of several women undressed with their legs apart. According to State Medical Board reports the perineal area was the focal point of the photographer. Hill, the abortion clinic’s anesthetists claimed ownership of the photographs. Former employees of the abortion clinic spoke to the Miami Herald where they stated they saw Hill fondling the breasts of several female patients while they were under anesthesia. The former abortion clinic employees told news reporters that they were fired by clinic owner Rosenthal after he heard them complaining to a National Abortion Federation Representative (the clinic was a member) of the conditions at the clinic and Mr. Hills activities. The Miami Herald in August of 1990 reported that abortion doctor Pravin Thakker was convicted of performing abortions on his former lovers without their consent. Thakker was also investigated by the Indiana Medical board for lewd and immoral conduct toward female patients under his care. On June 11,1991 a jury found Thakker guilty of two counts of battery, two counts of illegal abortion and two counts of criminal recklessness. Thakker was sentenced on July 31, 1991 to prison in the Indiana Department of Corrections. ( SOURCE: The Indiana Health Profession Bureau Case # 89 MLB 003.)

In 1987 the Tamarac, Florida police department began an investigation into allegations of sexual assault by abortion doctor Jeffrey Goldenberg. Dr. Goldenberg was employed by the University Women’s Center abortion clinic in Tamarac. Goldenberg was never tried on charges developed during investigations, because Goldenberg was killed in a traffic accident prior to trial. The Minnesota Board of Medical Examiners suspended the license of abortionist: Dr. Hideo D. Mori, a past 18 year volunteer at Planned Parenthood in Austin Minnesota. Dr. Mori was found to have engaged in sexual misconduct with several of his female patients. The charges against Mori included, massaging the clitoris and vagina of a patient during pelvic exams, kissing the face neck and breasts of patients during exams and embracing a patient. Mori allegedly told one of his patients that she should have sex with her husband in front of him so he could observe and determine why the patient was not climaxing. In 1983 abortion doc Nabil Ghali’s medical license in Kentucky was revoked following his conviction on four counts of unlawful sexual transaction with a minor. (A fourteen year old female neighbor) The victims younger sister also testified she has seen Ghali improperly touching a five year old child. In 1989 while Ghali was operating an abortion clinic in Florida and performing abortions in several other South Florida clinics, the state’s medical board began revocation procedures of his license due to falsification of his license application. Ghali was caught in Florida performing abortions in South Dade County. When Ghali later lost his license in Florida he moved to Ohio and continued to perform abortions. The State of Ohio after learning of Ghali’s history began revocation procedures. In February 1993 the Ohio Medical Board won an appeal upholding Ghali’s license revocation. In addition to Ghali’s sexual conduct he was involved in the death of at least one woman from an abortion procedure in Florida. Abortion Doctor Ronald Tauber had his Florida medical license suspended following the abortion related death of Gloria Small. In 1985 after moving to Michigan, Tauber’s license to practice osteopathic medicine in that state was revoked following his conviction of First Degree criminal sexual assault, and second degree criminal sexual conduct. Details of the case revealed that abortionist Tauber was convicted after the state proved he had forcibly transported a six year old girl in his car against her will. Tauber admitted exposing himself to the girl and placing her hand on his penis. He also lifted the child’s undergarment to expose her vulva. Tauber released the girl when she began to cry. Tauber was also cited for masturbating in his car outside a high school where young girls were exiting.. Tauber was released from prison on January 3, 1990 and his parole ended on August 15, 1991. Tauber was later licensed to practice by the state of New York in August of 1992. Abortionist Chris Simpoulous of the American Women’s Clinic in Norfolk, VA was accused of scheduling dozens of women for abortions who were not pregnant. Simpoulous was arrested in July of 1984 following an attempted abortion on an undercover police woman who was not pregnant. (SOURCE: New York Times 7/28/84. )

In April of 1992, Abortionist Larry Thompson’s Nevada medical license was revoked. The Board of Medical Examiners of Nevada determined that while performing an abortion at The Women’s Place in North Las Vegas, Dr. Thompson lacerated the uterus of his patient. The board said Thompson failed to monitor the woman’s condition adequately, and the abortion clinic did not have adequate medical equipment. As a result of the laceration and inadequate care that followed the abortion patient died. Abortionist Thompson also failed to recognize the cause of the patients death, according to the state’s disciplinary action. (SOURCE: Nevada Board of Medical Examiners case # 8289.)

In February of 1993, New York abortion doc. Abu Hayat was convicted of performing an illegal third trimester abortion in which he ripped the child’s arm from its body in the abortion attempt. The child was later born alive and has recovered with just one arm. In addition to the above occurrence Dr. Hayat, (an individual member of the National Abortion Federation) was cited by the Medical Board for refusing to complete an abortion on a patient after he demanded an additional payment of $500. The woman left the abortion clinic bleeding and with an incomplete abortion when she told Hayat she could not pay the extra $500. In January 1993 police arrested the owner of Clinica Feminina de la Cominidad an abortion clinic in Orange County, CA after the suspicious death of a patient at the clinic. News reports alleged Alicia Ruiz Hanna a non-physician performed numerous abortions at the clinic. The body of one of the clinic patients was found outside in the parking lot. Clinic employees have stated that the patient, Angela Sanchez suffered complications and Ruiz refused to call for help and would not allow her employees to call either. Ruiz was caught stuffing the dead abortion patient’s body into the trunk of her car. (SOURCE: The Orange County Register August 24, 1993.)

Abortion doctor David Benjamin (A.K.A. Elysa Bonrouhi) was implicated in charges of negligent homicide and tampering with physical evidence following the death of Guadalupe Negron. Police reports said that Negron was bleeding profusely and complaining of pain following her 2nd trimester abortion at the Metro Women’s Clinic in Corona, Queens New York. Benjamin ordered the patient to be cleaned up and began an abortion on another patient. Benjamin delayed calling an ambulance to transport Ms. Negron and attempted emergency treatment in such a negligent manner that Ms. Negron was pronounced dead shortly after her arrival at a local hospital. ACORN sting resembles Planned Parenthood sting

Filmaker, James O’Keefe, has uncovered corruption in the ACORN organization. His undercover films have been blasted all over the cable news and internet blogs, exposing ACORN’s callous views of child sex trafficking and illegal prostitution rings. But O’Keefe was involved in a former undercover investigation involving tax payer dollars of hundreds of millions a year to an organization which covers for child sexual abuse !

That organization is PLANNED PARENTHOOD. And that investigation was done with another brave woman – Lila Rose.

James O’Keefe is a 25 year-old Rutgers graduate and a veteran of Live Action films, the group led by UCLA student Lila Rose, 20, which began a series of sting operations in order to uncover a culture of corruption rife within the abortion industry.

In 2007, O’Keefe posed as a 23-year old “boyfriend” accompanying Rose, also posing as his 15-year-old “girlfriend,” in another sting that showed a Los Angeles Planned Parenthood staffer offering them advice as to how to arrange for the abortion and cover-up the statutory rape.

Rose later developed this operation into a nationwide sting in which she showed that Planned Parenthood staffers were willing to cover up the statutory rape of 14 year-old girl by her 30-year-old boyfriend.

One of the Advocate’s video came out at the same time that Planned Parenthood’s Southwest Ohio Region faces a lawsuit from another rape victim who was forced by her father to have sex with him during the time she was 13-18 years of age and an abortion at age 16. Lawyers for the victim have accused Planned Parenthood’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy for perpetuating her sexual molestation until she finally told a basketball coach, who then informed the authorities.

The bold investigation by Lila Rose is reminiscent of the exposé by Life Dynamics, in which a woman posing as a 13-year old impregnated by a 22-year-old made 800 calls to abortion facilities across the United States. 91% of the facilities that admitted that a crime had been committed agreed to conceal it. Of those abortion clinics called, many were Planned Parenthoods.

“I must admit I had a palm-in-forehead moment last month when an anti-choice group from Southern California released a tape of what sounds like a Planned
Parenthood employee accepting a donation over the phone from an overtly racist donor. Naturally, the right wing radio talk show hosts had a field day
with this. One of them actually posed this question to his audience: “Is Planned Parenthood racist or just morally bankrupt?”

We do not accept money from people with racist motivations, no matter how much money they wish to donate.

Oh, Really ???? Guess you’d best talk to your former President, Faye Watteltonn about that one.

Although ACORN has received $54 million of taxpayer dollars over the years, Planned Parenthood receives $1 MILLION dollars per day – Of tax payer dollars, which they can use to abort Black Babies ! WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE ???? WHERE IS THE MEDIA ???

Planned Parenthood also risks losing $280- million in government funding, primarily through Title X funds, and the abortion provider’s 2004-2005 annual report showed that from an $882 million income they made $63 million in profits.

Police say alleged Pro-Choice killer of pro-lifer had stash of weapons, ammunition

OWOSSO – Police searching the home of an alleged double murderer Friday found several weapons and nearly 10,000 rounds of ammunition.

Owosso Director of Public Safety Mike Compeau said officers searched Harlan Drake’s residence at 5011/2 S. Shiawassee Friday afternoon following the murders of James Pouillon, 63, and Mike Fuoss, 61. Drake is accused of both shooting deaths.

“We were looking to see (with the search) if there were any notes, diaries,” Compeau said. “There were no diaries, but we did find five additional guns; shotguns, .22s – no assault rifles.”

Drake allegedly shot Pouillon about 7:20 a.m. Friday as Pouillon stood across the street from Owosso High protesting abortion. Fuoss was shot at his office, also sometime Friday morning.

Saturday, Drake, who was lodged in the Shiawassee County Jail, attempted to commit suicide by cutting his arm. The suspect apparently used glass from a shattered television set to slash him arm.

Activist Killed

Prosecutor Randy Colbry refused to discuss Drake’s status this morning.

However, Sheriff George Braidwood said Drake was returned to the county jail late Saturday.

“He really did a number,” Braidwood commented on Drake’s wound.

Police found three handguns – two .22s and a .45 – in Drake’s pickup truck when he was arrested at home about 8:30 a.m.

Compeau said Drake, who is married, was a truck driver, but noted stories about Drake being out of state until recently were unconfirmed.

“I had heard that, but I can’t confirm it,” he said.

Compeau also reiterated that there was no “hit list” as some rumors have speculated.

“It was in his head,” Compeau said. “There was no written list. He had three people in his head.”

The third intended victim, Realtor James Howe, was not attacked. He and his family left town over the weekend.

In addition to Owosso police and the Shiawassee County Sheriff’s Office, members of the Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Bureau and the U.S. Marshals service were involved this week. Compeau said the marshals made inquiries because of the potential of a hate crime.

“We have the big thing taken care of. There’s a lot of fine detail work to take care of now,” he said.

Bizzare Czar: Cass Sunstein Ranks Animals Above Humans

Bizzare Czar: Cass Sunstein several times has quoted approvingly from an author who likened animals to slaves and argued an adult dog or a horse is more rational than a human infant and should, therefore, be granted similar rights.

You’ve heard a reference to Bentham, so let’s listen to him, shall we,” he begins in the video.

He then quotes from Bentham’s 1789 primer, “Introduction to Principals of Morals and Legislation,” written just after slaves had been freed by the French but were still held captive in the British dominions:

The day may come, when the rest of the animal creation may acquire those rights which never could have been withholden from them but by the hand of tyranny. The French have already discovered that the blackness of the skin is no reason why a human being should be abandoned without redress to the caprice of a tormentor,” Sunstein states, quoting Bentham.

Sunstein continues quoting the author: “A full-grown horse or dog, is beyond comparison a more rational, as well as a more conversable animal, than an infant of a day or a week or even a month, old. But suppose the case were otherwise.

The rest of Bentham’s sentence, not captured in the video, continued, “what would it avail? The question is not, can they (animals) reason or can they talk? But, can they suffer?”

While the YouTube video offers only a brief sound bite with no context, a WOrldNEtDaily review of Sunstein’s academic writings find he used the same verses from Bentham to push for animal rights.

In the footnotes to a 2002 academic paper for Harvard University, “The Rights of Animals: A Very Short Primer,” Sunstein expresses his approval of Bentham’s arguments:

“I suggest that Bentham and Mill were not wrong to offer an analogy between current uses of animals and human slavery,” he wrote.

Several other works by Sunstein, including his books, quote approvingly of Bentham’s statements comparing adult dogs and horses to human infants.

In the Harvard paper, Sunstein even suggests animals could be granted the right to sue humans in court.

“We could even grant animals a right to bring suit without insisting that animals are in some general sense ‘persons,’ or that they are not property,” he wrote

Kudos to the writer from this BLOG AFROCONSERVATIVE for stating the following:

Jimmy Carter, the greatest president who ever lived, has said that the opposition to Obama is largely due to racism.

Members of the left use race, gender, and other “victim status” as a way to stifle dialogue about the issues du jour. I am not negating the fact that there is real racism. For example, James O’keefe (the young man responsible for exposing ACORN) exposed the blatant racism of the Planned Parenthood organization. Just in case you didn’t know, he called Planned Parenthood to donate money to them and requested that they make sure to use his money to abort a “Black baby” because “Blacks have way too many kids”. None of the operators working for Planned Parenthood objected to this, some even explicitly concurred. Mr. O’Keefe used this tactic to expose the blatant genocide (promoted by the left) of Black babies via abortion and those who use the euphemism “choice”. If Okeefe was really a racist, Margaret Sanger (founder of Planned Parenthood) would be giving him kudos.

So, in summation there’s modern day racism.
Exhibit A: Planned Parenthood.

I digress.

So, the Afroconservative has some questions for Mr. Jimmy Carter:

1. On November 4, 2008, 44 percent of White voters voted for Obama. If it wasn’t for the white majority, Obama wouldn’t have become president. Mr. Carter, did the White people who voted for Obama magically grow racist brain cells since January of this year?
2. Secondly, Mr. Carter, is it at all possible that the people of this nation are upset because our president is dismantling the very fabric that made this the Greatest nation on earth?
3. Also, Mr. Carter, when constantly reminding us that Obama is “Black” and people don’t like him because of it, don’t you think you are representing the exact opposite of Martin Luther King’s dream? Just in case you don’t remember, Mr. Carter, Martin Luther King dreamed for a day where people would be judged based on the contents of their character, not the color of their skin.
4. Is it also possible, sir, that those of you who are constantly evoking images of race, are the ones who are truly fixated on this issue?
5. Finally, Mr. Carter, I am a 25 year old Black Woman–so I know what it feels like to be “prejudged” because of my ethnicity, race, gender, and even my age. Am I racist against my own “people” too- because I oppose a large majority of Obama’s domestic agenda?

Mr. Carter, your comments are quite incendiary and actually pretty offensive. Your comments are especially offensive to me and other Americans who don’t really care if someone is White or Black but concerned about a Communist versus a Capitalist. You know, the difference between Liberty and Tyranny. I know members of the left probably excuse anything that’s said by their camp, but, please think before you speak.

Dems Killing Access to Higher Education And Adding a Secret New Czar Too

While we are all focusing on H.R. 3200, the House Democrats’ health care plan, we should at least glance at H.R. 3221, the House Democrats’ plan to kill off higher education access. (PDF)

The legislation is opposed by many major universities including Notre Dame, among others. Basically, the bill would shut down all private providers of student loans, drive up costs for universities, and become a bureaucratic nightmare for institutions of higher learning. The professors may be leftists, but the administrators have to pay attention to the bottom line.

The Director of Student Financial Strategies at University of Notre Dame warns in a letter to Congressman Miller, “Any legislation that eliminates choice and competition and mandates that all institutions adopt an all-government run program for the 2010/11 academic year is filled with immense risk and would create massive confusion.”
Get that? The Democrats want an “all-government run program” to provide people access to money to pay for college. And if they do that, then they can force universities to comply with lots of new rules or deny students the right to use federal student loans to go to particular colleges.

But it gets better. Boy does it ever get better.

§ 343 of the plan creates a Green Schools Czar. No kidding. A Green Schools Czar (and committee naturally) would examine the impact of more environmentally friendly universities and find ways to create even more environmentally friendly universities. Oh . . . I have an idea . . . if students need financial assistance and they are forced to go through the feds, the feds can simply tell universities to become compliant or they won’t let students use their student loans to go there.
What is so funny is that §312 of Obama’s stimulus plan also sent money to schools to become more environmentally friendly. That was the carrot. Well, this new law will become the stick.

Democrat Russ Feingold expresses concerns over White House ‘czars’

U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold, D-Middleton, is urging President Barack Obama to be more open and transparent about the work of appointed policymakers.

In a letter he sent Tuesday to President Barack Obama, Feingold said constituents raised concerns during the senator’s statewide listening sessions about the so-called czar positions.

“Specifically, I ask that you identify these individuals’ roles and responsibilities, and provide the judgment(s) of your legal advisers as to whether and how these positions are consistent with the Appointments Clause,” Feingold wrote.

According to Article II, Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution, the Senate must confirm all presidential appointments to federal offices. Feingold called the measure an important part of Congressional oversight of the Executive Branch.

Dear Mr. President:

From the beginning of your administration, you have made an admirable commitment to transparency and open government. You showed the strength of your commitment by sending a memorandum to the heads of executive departments and agencies within a week of your inauguration, stating: “My administration will take appropriate action, consistent with law and policy, to disclose information rapidly in forms that the public can readily find and use.”

As you know, there has been much discussion about your decisions to create and assign apparently significant policy-making responsibilities to White House and other executive positions; many of the persons filling these positions have come to be referred to in the media and even within your administration as policy “czars.” I heard firsthand about this issue on several occasions from my constituents in recent town hall meetings in Wisconsin.

The Constitution gives the Senate the duty to oversee the appointment of Executive officers through the Appointments Clause in Article II, section 2. The Appointments Clause states that the President “shall nominate, and by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, shall appoint ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls, judges of the Supreme Court, and all other officers of the United States, whose appointments are not herein otherwise proved for, and which shall be established by law.” This clause is an important part of the constitutional scheme of separation of powers, empowering the Senate to weigh in on the appropriateness of significant appointments and assisting in its oversight of the Executive Branch.

As a member of the Senate with the duty to oversee executive appointments and as the Chairman of the Senate Constitution Subcommittee, I respectfully urge you to disclose as much information as you can about these policy advisors and “czars.” Specifically, I ask that you identify these individuals’ roles and responsibilities, and provide the judgment(s) of your legal advisors as to whether and how these positions are consistent with the Appointments Clause. I hope that this information will help address some of the concerns that have been raised about new positions in the White House and elsewhere in the Executive Branch, and will inform any hearing that the Subcommittee holds on this topic.
